Tax and Accounting Aspects of Emploee Benefits from the Employer's Perspective

The bachelor's thesis is devoted to employee benefits from an accounting and tax point of view in a limited liability company. The first part characterizes the research from the professional literature on the given topic, which the bachelor's thesis deals with. The second part is devoted to the analysis of the current state of provided employee benefits in the company. And as part of the collection of analytical data, a questionnaire survey was conducted in the company. The last part of the work is based on the results of the analytical part and based on these results I suggest possible proposals for improving the current provision of employee benefits, which could increase employee satisfaction in the future.
Recruitment and Adaptation of Employees for Office Positions in the Selected Company

The thesis focuses on the process of onboarding and adaptation of employees for office positions in the selected company. The thesis consists of three main parts. In the first, theoretical part of the thesis, important concepts related to human resource management, onboarding and adaptation process are explained. The second part focuses on the analysis and research of the current process of onboarding and adaptation of employees for office positions in the selected company. The last design part, based on the result from the analytical part of this thesis, is focused on author’s improvement suggestions of these processes.
Complete implementation of pulse oximeter

This thesis deals with the design of a pulse oximeter. The resulting device allows to measure human blood oxygen saturation and heart rate in a non-invasive way. Easy portability is enabled by battery power supply and the used colour graphical display ensures clear display of the measured data. The paper describes in general terms the principle of pulse oximetry, a description of the chosen electronic components and the firmware developed to ensure the device's operation. Verification of correct operation was performed by comparing the measurements with similar devices available on the market.

The aim of the thesis is to point out the space in the social work's system in the Czech republic and to find out the possibilities of employing a social worker at a selected employer, as part of the company structure. A social worker would help with employer's CSR programme and further cultivate their environment. The thesis' topic is described both from a theoretical point of view and through the lens of its impact in practice. The practical part is processed with a qualitative research strategy using the semi-structured interview technique.

Voice Activity Detection

This thesis describes techniques for voice activity detection in audio recordings. It is necessary to  correctly classify all non-speech segments and recognize speech with noisy background.  The whole process of voice activity detection (VAD) is described in this thesis, i.e. digitizing audio  signal, feature extraction, training of the system, post-processing and final evaluation. There are  three different systems compared within the thesis . The first one is based on phoneme recognition using neural network, the other two are variations of Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM). Each system was tested on three data sets - Tactical Speaker Identification Speech Corpus (TSID), Ham Radio (HR) and Rich Transcription Evaluation (RT05-RT07). The best results of each system are compared with the results of the third side.
PPG signal quality assessment and heart rate estimation

This work deals with photoplethysmographic (PPG) signals, their processing, quality assessment, estimation of heart rate from PPG signals and the ability to record biological signals with smartphones. The aim of this work is to record PPG signals using a smartphone and reference ECG signals using an ECG recorder. The work also includes the design of two algorithms, one for signal quality assessment and the other for heart rate estimation from PPG signals.
Motivation, Remuneration and Benefit System of Selected Company

The theoretical part summarizes current knowledge about motivation of workers and describes current trends, preferences and demands of employees. There is a research through interviews and questionnaire survey among the employees in a practical part and results are analysed. Based on these results and the information contained in the theoretical part some changes are suggested, due to which the company should have better conditions not only to keep existing employees but also to hire new ones.
Efficiency Improvement of Company Process by Using Project Management Tools

This diploma thesis deals with a type of efficiency improvement of the hiring process in a company, where agile methods are used for the development of its software products. The theoretical part describes specification of traditional and agile methods, and a profound description of the Scrum and Kanban methods and the use of agile methods for hiring activities. In the following part, there is issued an analysis of the current situation in the company oriented to HR department and suggesting possible solutions for discovered problems.

This diploma thesis is focused on this topic in the engineering company. The teoretical part of thesis contain literature review, which is neccesary for treatment analytion part od thesis. In the next part is introducion of company and described their procedures, metods for remuneration and motivation. The thesis have own questionnaire survey to analyze the current situation in the company from the perspective of employees, reward system, motivation, education or conditions in a workplace. Then it subseyuentely suggests possible steps included bigger welfare of workers, better reward system and higher motivations of workers.
