Warants on the European Capital Market

Warrants are modern investment gear product. They are emitted by famous financial institution and dedicated for small investors. The main object of this diploma thesis is to analyse warrants. In first part of the thesis is theoretical background of warrants, pricing models, etc. Second part is mainly focused on investment strategies and stockjobbing. In the last part is comparsion to other financial products and also practical investment introduction are included.
Domestic architecture in the western Black Sea area with recpect for circumstances in the northwestern Black Sea area

1 Abstract This diploma thesis describes domestic architecture in the western Black Sea area in the time range between two half of the 6th century and the first half of the third century BC. Geographically, the studied settlement is located mainly in today's Bulgaria and on the coast Romania and Ukraine. Locations in the northwestern Black Sea area (e.g. Olbia, Berezan) have (in the Greek colonies in their neighborhood) much better preserved domestic architec- ture than sites in the western Black Sea area. The work is historical and culturally divided into Greek and Thracian settlement. Based on a comparison is made interpretation of the above mentioned settlements. The aim was to characterize individual sites, interpret and compared with each other, or finds analogous parallels especially in the Greek world. The work should refer to the func- tioning of domestic architecture (or the whole domestic urban), as in Greek cities in defined areas of the western and northwestern Black Sea area, and in places that were inhabited by the original (Thracian) population. Interpretative result of the work needed to improve under- standing of cultural relations between Greeks and Thracians which determined urban devel- opment mainly in the inner Thrace. Greeks in the postwar Beroun. The life stories of the Greek residents in Beroun and its surroundings after the World War II

- 1 - Abstract The aim of the diploma thesis is to present the selected aspects regarding the presence of the Greek community in the Berounsko region, who settled here in connection with the Greek post-war immigration into the Czechoslovakia in the late 40s and 50s of the 20th century. It is a historical and anthropological research in the field of contemporary history, elements of ethnology are also included. This project is seen as a contribution to the local contemporary history, as well as the history of the selected ethnic group in the Czech Republic. The key method used is the oral history. Due to the narrow definition of the topic were found only a limited amount of archival material that was reflected in the work. The literature was also used. To collaborate on the project agreed six male narrators and two female narrators of the Greek origin. Archival research was conducted at the National Archive in Prague, in the archives of the Czech Red Cross and the State Regional Archive in Beroun. The core of this paper consists of the selected thematic areas that should enable the achievement of the objective of the thesis. Options and option pricing

Key concepts, principles of working and types of options are explained in this thesis. I also explain the main factors affecting the value of option. Further, this thesis contains some basic notions of option pricing. It contains the description of Black-Scholes-Merton model and the Monte-Carlo method. I apply the concepts of these 2 methods of option pricing in the practical part of this thesis. I also deal with option sensitivities in the practical part.
Currency options

Subject of the submitted thesis is the issue of currency options. The aim is the detailed analysis of currency options forcefully on dealing, characteristics, methods of pricing and their use for hedging strategies. The first part of the thesis presents an introduction into the option theory. The second part is about dealing, pricing and arbitrage relationships of currency options. In this part are two option pricing model extracted -- the binomial options pricing model for pricing currency options and the Garman-Kohlhagen model for pricing European currency options. In the third part is an example for a currency put option hedging strategy.
