Eliášová, Kamila ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Maleček, Jan (referee)
Title: The influence of specific fitness training on the annual physical examination of logistician soldiers Objectives: This thesis aims to explore if the controlled hours of endurance-oriented physical training three times a week for the period of two months have more positive results on the soldiers' endurance part within the yearly control tests of the annual examination of professional soldiers than the individual physical training. Methods: A questionnaire method was used to gather primary data and information. The questionnaire aimed to obtain comprehensive information about the physical training and preparation for the annual physical examination of professional soldiers. The information was further used for a subsequent research based in the Deployable Forces Support Battalion in Rakovnik. A sample of professional military probands was randomly selected from those interested in participating in this research. The input data were the results of the entrance examination of the research participants, which took place before the start of the intervention. The intervention group subsequently participated in an exercise program where the main content was to increase endurance abilities. The control group prepared themselves for the annual review. At the end of the intervention both groups...
Primary school students' physical competence in relation to their study results
Zaplatílková, Lucie ; Mahrová, Andrea (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Name Relation between physical fitness and study results of primary school students Goal The goal of the thesis is to examine physical fitness of primary school students, compare it with their study results, and see if there is any relatioship between these two variables. Methods Physical fitness is tested with tests and norms of Unifittest (6-60) (Měkota, Kovář, 2002) and study results are generated with questionnaires. The answers are then matched with Unifittest's results of each student. Results are processed with the help of statistical methods. Results The results of Unifittest (6- 60) showed above-average or well above-average level of fitness with 89 % of individuals. Only 11 % of participants reached the average score. The best performance was detected with girls of the 9 ͭ ͪ grade and boys of the 7 ͭ ͪ grade. Spearman correlation coefficient showed a medium-strong relation between the Unifittest (6- 60) results and grades from Czech language, foreign language, and mathematics in 2 categories. 6 ͭ ͪ grade girls had the correlation rₛ= 0,51 and 8 ͭ ͪ grade girls rₛ= 0,56. Other categories showed very weak correlation relation. Keywords Unifittest, physical fitness, studying, youth, sit-ups, pull-ups, long jump, Cooper test

Analysis of the influence of physical activity on the health of Type I
STANĚK, Jan
The bachelor thesis focuses on the study of diabetic children in terms of health status, physical fitness and other aspects related to diabetes. The aim of this work is to find out how physically active diabetics are, how sport affects their diabetes compensation, and how quickly their blood glucose changes during or after sport. It also focuses on the difference between trained diabetics and untreated diabetics.

Chovaňáková, Petra ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Přibyl, Ivan (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the basic criminal activities of the police department by examining the crime scene in the conditions of the basic unit of the Police of the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis deals with the examination in general, its types and principles. The second part concerns the division of the crime scene investigation by subject matter between the basic police unit and the Criminal Police and Investigation Service. The third part deals with the actual investigation of the crime scene, namely its concept, purpose, procedures and stage of investigation. The fourth part describes the crime scene documentation. The fifth part focuses on the conditions and problems in examining the crime scene performed by the basic body. Key words rowing, rowing ergometer, endurance, methods of endurance testing, Cooper test, Multi stage shuttle run
Comparison of Physical Skills of Pupils in General and Sports Classes of Elementary School
Zaplatílková, Lucie ; Mahrová, Andrea (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Comparison of Physical Skills of Pupils in General and Sports Classes of Elementary School Goals: The aim of this research is to determine the level of physical fitness skills of pupils, who, attend a sport class and compare these results to the pupils of the same age general class in the same school. Methods: The measurement was carried out through the test UNIFITTEST (6-60), which consists of the following tests - long jump, sit-up, chin-up and the Cooper Test. The results were evaluated and compared using the statistical characteristics. Results: With the help of these tests we found out the average level of fitness skills in every category. In long jump boys from the examined sport class managed to get 14, 6 % better results than those from the general class. Regarding girls, those from the sport class did also better, particularly 8, 5 %. The same tendency is to be found in sit-ups. The sport class children showed better performance, boys were 5, 9 % and girls 3, 3 % better than their schoolmates from general classes. The biggest gap in performance was measured in pull-ups. In average 20, 4 % better results for boys from the sport class. But girls from the general class this time beat the ones with a sport-focused programme by 21 %. Last thing we tested was endurance running where the...
Analysis of endurance indicators in selected tests in relation to continuous and intermittent loading
Kotas, Jan ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
Title Analysis of the endurance indicators in selected tests in relation to continuous and intermittent loading Objectives The aim of this study was to examine the accuracy of the prediction formulas for indirect estimation VO2max from performances in the field tests. The criterion for comparing estimated values were results from laboratory spiroergometry test. Methods Ten physically active males (24,5 ± 2,5 years, 179,5 ± 6,2 cm, 75,8 ± 4,9 kg, BMI 23,5 ± 1,3 kg/m2 ) performed four different test sessions. Laboratory treadmill test was used for the direct measurement of the maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max) and three field tests for indirect estimation of the VO2max (Cooper test, Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Level 1 and 2). All the performances from field tests were calculated using prediction formulas. Results Directly measured values of VO2max during laboratory testing were in average 58,24 ± 2,77 ml.kg-1 .min-1 . Indirectly estimated values of VO2max from performances in the Cooper test were in average 61,15 ± 3,73 ml.kg-1 .min-1 , in Yo-Yo IRT1 52,46 ± 2,51 ml.kg-1 .min-1 and in Yo-Yo IRT2 53,19 ± 1,56 ml.kg-1 .min-1 . There was found large positive correlation between laboratory testing and Cooper test (r = 0,76). This correlation was the only one statistically significant. The...
Level of endurance abilities of the players first league volleyball and handball
Simandl, Radek ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Svobodová, Irena (referee)
The goal of the thesis is to determine the level of endurance for players first league volleyball and handball. Based on the structure of sport performance requirements compared to the level of endurance abilities in volleyball and handball and determine the actual level of endurance abilities. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of selected sports, namely volleyball and handball, motor skills and endurance capabilities. The practical part of the set of motor tests chosen Cooper run and Harvard step-test to draw real endurance skills of players first league. Both teams I selected on the basis of tests once measured and inferred results. Results were achieved by statistical processing and evaluation of data collected. KEYWORDS Volleyball, Handball, endurance, Cooper test, Step-test, motor skills and abilities
