Field strength measurement
Novák, Tomáš ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Nováček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on problems of measurement of field intensity especially in short-wave zone of received frequencies. To measure the intensity of electric field, it is necessary to use a suitable antenna whose properties and characteristics/parametres meet best the requirements of this measurement. These requirements are analysed/discussed in the introductory part of this thesis. From these requirements resulted one specific solution which is applicable to this problems. This solution is frame antenna which meets /matches best the requirements of this measurement. Furthermore, a complete suggestion for the frame antenna as well as its calculations were discussed. From individually calculated results graphical functionalities were set together that provided the bases for selection of suitable parameters for frame antenna. Then these bases were verified with similar antenna that was available. In second part of this thesis we modified standard antenna modul RFT FMA11 so that there would be a possibility to use it with any selective microvoltmeter.

The final goal was to create an animated 3D model of terminal as a sample of main process of terminals’ working principle. In conclusion of this work is comparison of terminals, and their properties, facts observed during measurement or testing.
Design of the distribution network branch for new family and apartment houses in Újezd u Brna
Frechová, Lucie ; Novák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The work mentions the concept of present electricity networks in the Czech Republic and based on voltage levels it also describes distribution networks in more detail. Furthermore it brings the analysis of legislative conditions and technical aspects, under the rules of the distribution network operation, for new customers who require new connection to electricity network. Because of the steady-state network evaluation represents very important issue of the power system calculations, therefore it is explained in theoretical part of this work. Nowadays, Gauss-Seidel method and Newton iterative method are generally used for the steady-state analysis. Mentioned ones are also described and compared together in theoretical part. Furthermore methods are applied in practical part which solves specific configuration of the network in a given area. Moreover there are the basics of the conductor sizing in terms of the warming, both during normal operation and during a short circuit. However, it is necessary to respect other aspects of the conductor sizing, therefore issues of mechanical and electrical strength, the voltage drop and the sizing economy are also shown. There is also the characteristic of proposed and the description of the individual components which are used for the network i.e. transformation station, HV and LV switchgear, transformer, HV and LV cabling. It also concludes the characteristics of the design opportunity with their power and economical comparison.
Cable harness tester
Valenta, Jakub ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This semestral paper deals with the issues of testing and requirements examinations for cables and cable harnesses. These terms are defined in the work and the difference in their meaning is described. The work also describes the characteristic features of cables and cable harnesses, explains their importance and focuses in more detail on the variable properties that may change over time or that are dependent on manufacturing errors. The principles and procedures of tests of these properties are covered in the work and are the essence of the subsequent practical part. In this part, the work deals with the design of the measuring circuit prototype for testing of the insulation resistance of cables and their desired continuity in bundles. This design is then physically implemented, the processes of designing and implementing are described in detail and finally its functionality is tested and presented to the reader.
The motivation of non-professional musicians from the conductor's perspective
Šárková, Zuzana ; Froněk, Jan (advisor) ; Tureckiová, Michaela (referee)
This bachelor thesis The motivation of non-professional musicians from the conductor's perspective deals with motivation in amateur choirs. First, overview of relevant information from literature will be provided, in particular how it works and how to use it for effective stimulation to achieve high performance. The importance of leisure education and its specifics and possibilities will be demonstrated to explain how it works in amateur choirs. The psychological aspect of conductor's work is also significant, with focus on the personality of musicians, specifically conductors and choir members. Objective of this work is to provide conductors with deeper insight into the issues of leading and appropriate motivation of musicians, to fulfill demanding requirements that are coming from all sides. This work is enriched by field research - interviews with five conductors and a survey of choir members. Conductors present their ensembles and their point of view on what is important in their work to become successful. The questionnaire focuses on expected characteristics, what personality should a good conductor be according to choir members. This all contributes to deeper understanding of the conductor's job and gives suggestions and hints for more effective choir leading. This work can help beginning...
Requiem as a musical form and it's transformations in themusic of nineteenth and twentieth centuries
Gonata, Elena ; Pecháček, Stanislav (advisor) ; Holubec, Jiří (referee) ; Valášek, Marek (referee)
In this thesis, the evolution of the Requiem Mass throughout the centuries has been explored. The evidence provided clearly demonstrates the changes that the Requiem mass has gone through, from the first traditional Requiem mass all the way to the new Requiems of the Contemporary era. While early composers were inspired by religion, over time, a clear shift towards freedom of expression (war, human losses, tragic events) is evident. Requiems can be written for liturgical use and concert halls, and can be performed by choirs, soloists and orchestras (Acapella and Orchestral compositions). Requiems can have both short and long durations, and can have different textures (polyphonic style, homophonic style etc.). The traditional Latin language and religious texts are still widely used, however, there have been many changes throughout the centuries, such as the use of translations into different languages, the use of psalms, bible verses, poetry and famous speeches. Today, a large number of Requiems can be found from composers on a worldwide scale, including America, Europe and Great Britain.
