Communication in hearing impaired people in primary care

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of communication for people with hearing impairment in primary care and is divided into two main parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on an overview of various hearing disorders, primary health care and specific aspects of communication with patients suffering from hearing disorders. It also deals with communication barriers and principles that can affect the quality of interaction between health professionals and patients. The goal of the research part of the bachelor's thesis was to map how communication between a patient with a hearing disorder and a nurse in primary care takes place. In addition, the work was focused on identifying the most common barriers and assessing patients' satisfaction with the level of understanding during the provision of nursing care. A combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods was used to achieve these goals. The qualitative part included semi-structured interviews with people with hearing impairment, and the quantitative part included a questionnaire survey among nurses. The analysis of the data from the interview part took place by recording on a dictaphone, with the fact that I obtained verbal consent from all respondents. Recordings were deleted after data collection was completed. All the obtained data were transcribed into literary language and the results of the research investigation were analyzed using the method of text coloring. The same words were searched for in the answers of the respondents and then they were classified into individual groups with a similar focus. These groups were then categorized. Four categories and fifteen subcategories were created. Data analysis from the questionnaire survey was performed using IBM SPSS statistical software. The validity of the hypothesis was assessed using the chi-square test of independence and Fisher's exact test. The first research group included 15 people with hearing impairments. The second research set included 100 nurses who work in the offices of general practitioners, dentists or gynecologists. The results showed that successful communication between nurses and hearing-impaired patients requires adaptation to the individual needs of patients. The key elements of effective communication are slow and understandable speech, face-to-face contact, avoiding complex expressions and allowing mouth reading. These factors are essential to ensure that patients can understand the information correctly. Furthermore, the interviews showed that although most nurses follow the principles of effective communication, patients with hearing impairment emphasized the importance of creating a calm and suitable environment without distractions. The combination of the spoken and written word together with visual aids was rated as very effective. Patients also expressed a need for greater empathy and patience from healthcare professionals, with some respondents reporting a reduced quality of communication if nurses were engaged in other activities during the interview. Although patient satisfaction with communication with nurses was rated positively, several areas where improvement is needed were identified, particularly in the area of health professionals' attitudes and direct eye contact. Furthermore, it was found from the nurses' questionnaires that time constraints and high workload often prevent nurses from thorough communication. Quantitative research has shown that the level of knowledge of the principles of communication with hearing impaired patients differs significantly according to the level of education. Health workers with higher education show better knowledge than those with less education or specialized courses, suggesting that advanced education contributes to better communication skills.

The effect of a child's hospitalisation on the whole family

The bachelor thesis deals with the hospitalization of a child and all the factors that affect other family members in connection with the child's admission to a medical facility. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the child, the perception of illness, the impact of hospitalization on the child, as well as on the family, siblings and cooperation with medical staff. The empirical part is based on a quantitative research investigation and analysis of the data collected. The aim of the empirical part was to find out whether the child's hospitalization affects the family, family life and siblings. A quantitative research method was used using a non-standardized questionnaire of own design, which was intended for parents of children hospitalized in pre- selected wards of Motol University Hospital. 123 completed questionnaires were included in the actual survey. The reserch results of the survey show that parents of hospitalized children do not have sufficient support from the medical staff. The greatest support is provided by the family, which also provides help in the home and with other children. The subject of this thesis the construction and technological preparation for the construction of the bridge ev.č. 377-007 across the Býkovka river in the municipality Rájec - Jestřebí, which is part of the reconstruction of a main road II / 377 Bořitov - Rájec. The thesis is elaborated a technical report on the structural and technological project, coordinating construction situation, the situation with wider relationships routes following the stages, time and financial plan – by objects, study the implementation of major technological stages of the building SO203 project site equipment, design of the main construction machines and mechanisms, the timetable of the main building structure, workers deployment plan, plan of machines usage, a plan for securing material resources for SO 203, technological regulation for the implementation of bored piles of, inspection and test plan for pilots, budget SO 203, sequence diagram construction, control and monitoring plan and calculation of bearing capacity of the bridge foundation piles.

Tool for Project Stakeholder Management Support

This master's thesis describes a tool supporting management stakeholders. Opening chapters of the thesis describe the theoretical background of the work. There are explained knowledge-based areas of the stakeholder management, human resource management and communications management. Following chapters of the work are devoted to the proposed system. At first there are specified the system requirements generally and then also from the perspective of several major users. Subsequently, the system is designed. The system consists of three main blocks - the identification of stakeholders, the stakeholder analysis using the questionnaire surveys and the setting of the communication strategy. The implementation environment (Java EE) is chosen and the system is implemented in it. Then its functionality is checked up on the pattern of data. In conclusion, the results achieved are evaluated and the outputs of processes in the field of management stakeholders are also discussed. At the end the future development of this master´s thesis is delineated.

Master’s thesis deals be occupied with the transmission of process data with peripheries to control devices. Data transmission with performs through two types of industrial networks. Use with these two Foundation Fieldbus and EtherNet / IP. In work is shows method conversion through gateway between the two networks. Here there is adduced method to connected and configure devices on the networks and also their implementation. Part of this work is also creating a visualization of these peripherals and the gateway. The work is also presents possible use for laboratory task to practice.

The bachelor work is focused on the analysis of up to date conditions of Renocar firm, its outside and inside invironment. The teoretical marketing knowledge, mainly from communication sphere are the aim of my bachelor work. The particular analysises are used for Renocar invironment in the practical part of the bachelor work, then the new changes are formed on the basis of discovered informations which should lead to improvement of the firm communication.

Resource of the work will be theoretical knowledge of marketing, communication and analysis of findings from internal and external area company. On the basis of the analysis and research I want design improvements and better marketing strategy with calculating costs in the practical part. The guestionnaire will be feedback and it will evaluate the view of company strategy.

Optical transmission applications in industries

The aim of the semestral work term use of optical transmission in the industry is to find the right equipment for communication in industrial applications, which would lead to better control and management of these applications. My show almost seamless connection between the device, which is controlled by another device such as a computer. The first chapter shows how inside the core optical fiber and reflected beams are then carried around the skylight. The second section lists the differences between the copper and fiber cabling, there is described why metallic line slowly destroyed and replaced him fully optics. In the third chapter, I focused on the optical fiber, what are its characteristics, from which parts are made and what is distributed. In the fourth part shows the optical transmitters for multimode and singlemode optical fibers, which are differences between them, which are produced and with what characteristics, etc. In the fifth chapter is applied to a network of possible involvement in the industrial zone, is designed only as they could theoretically be industrial zone controlled by the machine. In the sixth part of the thesis I have tried to design a laboratory task that consists of those optical converters. It is only a small sample, as used in the industry far more extensive involvement.
