Test benches for microcontroller kits
Žaludek, Ivo ; Burian, František (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a test bench for functional testing of educational kits. These kits are in the form of standalone printed circuit boards, for instance, a module with a microcontroller and its peripherals, such as a display, keyboard, or external memory. A comparison of commercially available testers is conducted, and the requirements for testing of each printed circuit board are identified. Based on these requirements, the design of both the hardware and the software of the test bench was developed. The final stage of the project is the evaluation of the functionality of the test bench.
Continuous Integration System for the k-Wave Project
Nečas, Radek ; Kešner, Filip (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to describe the implementation of continuous integration into the k-Wave project. The thesis focuses primarily on the version written in the C/C++ language with the usage of the OpenMP library which typically runs on supercomputers. Accordingly, many of popular workflows and approaches ought to be adapted, a few more created. The outcome of the thesis is a complete solution with real and practical usage. The author provides design, tools selection, runtime environment administration and configuration for each one of the used services. Software implementation of the basic framework is used in order to utilize running tests on the supercomputers. Furthermore, the implementation of chosen types of regression and unit tests are performed. Realisation is based on Gitlab and Jenkis services that are running on separated Docker containers.
Automated Testing of Embedded Web Applications
Dufek, Ondřej ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on automatic testing of embedded web applications, specifically on their user interfaces. I solved this problem on an already implemented user interface. I designed and implemented an automated test environment based on the Selenium tool. The created solution facilitates the development of automatic tests of the selected product and enables regression testing of a new version of the product with a minimum time cost. The resulting solution will ensure greater product quality and make work easier for manual testers.
Using Robotic Manipulator for Touchscreen Pressing Simulation
Tatýrek, Ondřej ; Kříž, Vlastimil (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about choice and description of robotic manipulator for simulation finger touch on touchscreen. Describes blueprint of shape, choice of material and made of effector. Also describes user aplication, which enables to define, edit and run test of touchscreen together with image evaluation. Most importent methods are described and explained how they works inside.
The FITkit3 Tester
Stehlík, Petr ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Bidlo, Michal (advisor)
This work solves the problem of testing a certain set of ARM Kinetis Cortex-M4 \newline (MK60DN512ZVMD10) microcontroller modules on the FITkit3 learning platform (also known as Minerva). Specifically, it deals with the design of test firmware in the C programming language for automated testing, the design of a hardware module for testing platform input/output interfaces using the MCP23S17 integrated circuit and the design of a software with text-based user interface in Python3 for the testing control from a PC. The selected test set of modules are Periodic interrupt timers (PIT), Low-power timer (LPTMR) and Real time clock (RTC), further modules for serial data transmission via UART and SPI interfaces, speaker and GPIO ports. The created solution provides a comprehensive tool for analysing the functionality of frequently used modules on FITkit3, which automates the analysis process almost completely. The main benefit of this work is the facilitation of testing and a rapid detection of errors in a large number of kits.
Mobile Application for CMS Administration
Ingr, Michal ; Tesař, Filip (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The master's thesis describes the designing and developing mobile application for remote management of Kentico CMS/EMS system via REST interface. The thesis emphasized agile approaches to development, especially Test-Driven Development and automated testing.
Widget Recognition for Visual GUI Testing
Kisela, Sebastián ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis analyzes current methods and tools used for user interfaces testing. The thesis sets specification requirements and design of the implemented tool. Implementation and limitations of the implemented tool, which is based on visual object recognition, are explained in a detailed way. Verification process of the tool is described at the end.
SW for control of climate tests
Fedor, Denis ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with control of a specific climate chamber used for various climate tests. Therefore its elaboration starts with the identification of properties of this climate chamber and basic design of its control. This is followed by measuring the temperature distribution in its internal space in order to verify the usability of this climate chamber. The thesis also does not omit a description of the communication options between climate chamber and application for control of climate tests. The next part of this thesis concerns the design and implementation of the application for control of climate tests itself. On its output is a report of the performed climate test. In the end this thesis contains the description of program testing in the real operation of the company and other possible improvements of the implemented program.
Automated Testing of Web Applications
Běloch, Tomáš ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the automation in the process of testing web applications. The theoretical part is focused on providing the quality of software products and services. The thesis also discusses the problematic of automation of the partial types of testing; some of the testing tools are described here as well. The theoretical part gives more details on the tool called Selenim and continuous integration systems. The practical part is focused on the detailed analysis, proposal and realization of automated test scripts for the Cloud service of the IBA CZ Corporation. The conclusion of this thesis summarizes its contribution to the author and company and outlines the further planned development.
Automated Testing of Web Browser Vulnerabilities
Jusko, Ján ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Fröml, Vojtěch (advisor)
Aim of the thesis is to study basic techniques of attacking a web browser and afterwards to propose and implement automated testing of security applications by running malicious activity. By means of Robot Framework was created a set of 31 automated tests which simulate malicious activity inside a three most popular web browsers.  After that we analysed effectiveness and reactivity of security applications. We found out that by using suitable anti-exploit software it is possible to prevent 30% of attacks.  The asset of this thesis is the set of tests which will be integrated into the database of tests at TrustPort company and will be used at development of their security software.
