Ploček, David ; Přívětivý, Lubomír (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
Title: The effect of an intervention exercise program on the physical fitness of unfit soldiers in the 142nd Klatovy repair battalion. Objectives: This thesis examines the effect of a selected intervention program on professional soldiers who do not reach the set standards during the annual physical fitness test. Other sub-goals can look for connections between the established intervention program, the development of endurance abilities and the influence of selected physical parameters. Methods: Content analysis, measurement, methods of mathematical-statistical analysis, comparison, analysis and synthesis were used in this work. Results: The results of the work show that the influence of the selected intervention program is not automatically positive. For more than half of the soldiers, the intervention program did not lead to meeting the standards, even though their physical fitness may have improved. Keywords: Physical activity, Army of the Czech Republic, intervention program, endurance skills

The initial measurement was taken on Friday at 14:00, and further measurements were taken at least twice a day, with intervals not exceeding 10 hours between measurements, totaling 7 measurements. Flexi Guard measuring systems, which allow long-term telemetric monitoring of health- physiological parameters in real time, were used for the measurement. Before the start of the selection process, participants completed a resilience questionnaire to assess their mental resilience. During the measurements, responses to the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), the Perceived...
Possibilities of involving radiological assistants within the Czech Armed Forces with a focus on CBRNE
VLČKOVÁ, Kristýna
The workload of radiology assistants in hospitals and private clinical workplaces is mainly due to the general public's need for more awareness of this field. This bachelor's thesis aims to introduce the reader to the issue of the involvement of radiological assistants outside the healthcare field. The first section of this bachelor's thesis is devoted to bringing security threats, or public terrorism. Terrorism in general is a widely used term, so I will discuss it in detail in several sections. In the next part of the work, I will focus on CBRNE terrorism. Attacks with chemical, biological, nuclear, or nuclear weapons are very popular in the 21st century. Therefore, the history, the mechanism of attack by individual types of weapons, and the effects of their use on the population are explained. Important topics of this work will also be the already mentioned consequences of using CBRNE weapons. The work will contain and explain the concepts of contamination and decontamination of the population, fauna, and flora. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis will be focused on general public analysis, where questions will be answered using a questionnaire, whether the public has an overview of the work of radiological assistants, and whether they see the involvement of the field in a sphere other than healthcare.
The methodology of driver training in the army of the Czech republic
HLIŇÁKOVÁ, Martina
The aim of my bachelor thesis is analysis of the existing methods of teaching, training and preparation of drivers in the Czech Army. I have described the system of documents and various regulations that are integral parts to the preparation of drivers in the Czech Armed Forces. I concluded from the interview with two respondents that the documentation in the Army is very extensive. I decided to create a simplified but effective curriculum. The main aim of this thesis is to familiarize the readers with the methodology of driver training in the Army of the Czech republic and to give them an insight into the process of obtaining a driver's license from the very beginning, when a soldier does not even have a civilian driving license, to experienced drivers who can handle challenging and dangerous situations.
Non-security of the Czech Army's soldiers on social networks
Kulhánek, Jan ; Ludvík, Jan (advisor) ; Kučera, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to examine the risk of the Czech Army not being properly secure on social networks, the behaviour of its uniformed members and their positive identification of social networking sites. The Russian aggression in the Ukraine and the hacking of Czech medical facilities have once again brought up the importance of cybersecurity and the role that it plays in the modern world, with the human factor being positively identified as the weakest link in security. This case study seeks to define the ideal types of soldier behaviour on social media and to analyse the potential risks that each type poses. To this end, this thesis first presents information necessary to fully understand the vast topic of cybersecurity on social media. Next, it defines several ideal types and their building blocks, in order to categorize the social media accounts of soldiers it later analyses. The author concludes that each defined ideal type has inherently problematic behaviours associated with it and carries with it a level of risk for the Army of the Czech Republic. However, the present user and family member ideal types were found to be the riskiest. Key words OSINT, SOCMINT, NATO, Czech Armed Forces, Cybersecurity, Security, Social media, Ideal type analysis, Social engineering Title The insecurity...

Analysis of Basic Aspects of the Place and Role of Spiritual Care of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and the United States of America
Kožušníková, Hana ; Beneš, Ladislav (advisor) ; Macek, Ondřej (referee)
This diploma thesis on the topic Analysis of the Basic Aspects of the Location and Spiritual Care of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and the United States of America, focuses, as the name suggests, on the comparison of the military spiritual care of two armies, specifically the Army of the Czech Republic and the Army of the United States of America. The focus of the work is a detailed mapping of the basic aspects of the spiritual services of both armies, especially, for example, the requirements for a chaplain candidate, the chaplain's distinction from other armies or the content of their work. Emphasis is also placed on the history of spiritual services, so the work provides a thorough analysis of historical contexts. Finally, a comparison of the main aspects is made. It is placed in a table for better clarity. Based on the information found, we can identify some common features of the Chaplaincy Service of the Army of the Czech Republic and the Chaplain Corps of the United States Army. This is, for example, the ratio of the number of chaplains to the total number of soldiers or a very similar range of tasks. They differ, for example, in the diversity of religious denominations, where chaplains in the American army are not only Christians, but also Muslims, Jews or Buddhists.
The readiness of the Czech army members to provide first aid in a dangerous environment.
JOHÁNEK, Jakub
This master thesis is focused on the issue of providing first aid in combat conditions according to the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care. The centerpiece is a chapter on the TCCC program, which is supposed to provide medical training for all soldiers and medical personnel. The TCCC program is designed to be simple and effective for all staff to use. Every member of the army should thus be able, even with limited material resources, to keep a soldier alive even in his most demanding conditions at least for the necessary time. The aim of this thesis was to map how the members of the Czech Army are prepared to provide first aid in a dangerous environment. The second objective was to map their knowledge in providing first aid in a dangerous environment, reflecting the effectiveness and efficiency of medical training of members of the Czech Army. Qualitative methods were used to achieve the objectives. The research part consisted of non-standardized questionnaires, which served to evaluate the medical training and to verify the knowledge of the Czech Army members in providing first aid according to the TCCC principles. The second part of the research was supplemented by semi-structured interviews with non-medical medical staff of the units. The results show that medical training does not fully comply with the current concept of training of units of the Czech Army and other documents. It is also evident from the research that members of the Czech Army should be educated more on the theoretical level in relation to the provision of first aid according to the TCCC principles, as the awareness of this issue appeared to be minimal. The obtained knowledge will be used both by unit medics leading medical training and by unit commanders who organise medical training and can thus avoid the mentioned deficiencies. Furthermore, the findings can also be used by all other members of the Army of the Czech Republic who are interested in the issue in question and want to find a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of information.
