Information System Assessment and Proposal of ICT Modification

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the information system assessment of a chosen company and its processes in the logistics department. Based on theoretical knowledge, the analysis is processed, from which the results are derived. Negative ones will serve us as a basis for change proposals and on the contrary, positive ones will serve us as the examples. Higher process efficiency and risk elimination are leading us towards an improvement of the current status, thus achieving a higher economic value of the company.

The content of this diploma thesis is an analysis of the current state of management of international projects in a multinational IT company, which should lead to the selection and implementation of an appropriate project management tool supporting planning and project management using agile methods Scrum and Kanban. The focus of this thesis is the actual implementation of the selected tool and its setting.
Scrum Project Management Tool

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of the application that serves as a Scrum-based project management tool. It aims particularly on teams that start with the Scrum agile methodology and try to implement it. This work illustrates the field of agile methodologies and focuses on a detailed description of the Scrum methodology practices. It also analyses the real companies' environment and their well-established processes of product development. Designing the tool, the main emphasis has been put on its intuitive usage and adaptability. The application has been implemented using the Laravel framework as a web interface. In the conclusion of this thesis, there is described the testing process that has taken place in the real company on their project.

V rámci práce sú zmapované všetky role, udalosti a artefakty projektu u ktorých sú následne identifikované ich odlišnosti od definície metodiky SCRUM. Práca ďalej obsahuje návrh toho, čo je potrebné upraviť, alebo zmeniť, aby sa dosiahla správna aplikácia metodiky SCRUM a tým pádom aj optimalizácia vývojového procesu.

This thesis deals with methods of project management, including the evaluation and designing of a custom solution for small development teams with frequent teleworking. The thesis also compares the particular difference between classical predictive and agile software development methods. Based on a theoretical background and current state analysis, the purpose of this work is to design a new information system, which should serve as a SaaS solution, and describe its implementation by the proposed method.

Methodology and Software Support for Risk Management in Projects

This master's thesis deals with the area of risk management in project management. The aim is to create a complex risk management methodology and a functional prototype of the system that complements and supports it. The methodology is based on the fundamental principles of these areas and the analysis of currently used project and risk management approaches in practice. Selected were PRINCE2, Agile Approach and ITIL. The advantages of the methodology are its complexity, no bound to any standard but based on methodology's positive  features. Based on the methodology, a web application for management and visualization of projects and risks has been developed and supports work with it.
Software Testing Organization and Methods

This document's objective is to propose a set of methods for improvement of the organization and methodology of software testing and subsequent application of those in a real environment of the Siemens CZ company. The first part discusses the development models in terms of testing segment and the following section focuses specifically on the methodology of agile testing and development as a whole, including applicable metrics for evaluating various aspects of software exiting the testing phase. The third major section lets the reader get acquainted with the Siemens organization and methods of their software testing and by analyzing real-world project it assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the particular testing process and its management. The practical part of this thesis lies in the design and implementation of a plug-in for the JIRA environment. This tool is able to identify and quantify the long term status of the project phases of agile development and testing in a clear and interactive way, while the outputs are represented by clearly defined problems that can be more easily treated, as one can argue further progress.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a software project plan in the company MoroSystems, which will help the HR team to improve working with CVs. The work is divided into three parts The first theoretical part deals with the theoretical basis related to the matter of agile project management and introduces products from the company Atlassian for effective management. The second part analyzes the current state of MoroSystems, including its own research to determine the level of implementation of agile practices in the company. The third part deals with the design of a project plan for software development, including work breakdown structure, work estimates and finding the necessary allocations for the implementation of the project using products from Atlassian.
