Recorder with SD card
Dohnal, Petr ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis presents the design and construction of Recorder with SD card. The paper deals with methods of communication between integrated circuit devices and the various functional blocks of equipment. Thesis also discusses the use of the FAT system for storing data on an SD card, file format .wav and convert analog signal to digital.
Data aquisition card for integrated circuit tester
Koleček, Jan ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Dvořák, Vojtěch (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and realize a data acquisition card. The main task of the designed card will be to generate stimulating signals for the tested integrated circuit, to process signals generated by the tested integrated circuit, to convert them into a digital form and to send them to a superior system. The thesis will present a choice of integrated circuits suitable for its realization, a wiring diagram of the data acquisition card, PCB design and VHDL code for the control FPGA chip.
High performance data acquisition communication line
Hadámek, Jakub ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the acquisition of data from the AD converter and it’s transfer via the JESD204B interface to FPGA with the following transformation and transfer to PC through 100G Ethernet or PCI Express interface. The first part of the thesis is focused on the introduction to used technologies and hardware and analysis of the solution of this project. Second part of the thesis describes solution and it’s functionality. I created HDL design which allows to transfer data from AD converter using both of the interfaces mentioned above. I also created software application for OS Linux which allows to receive and store incoming data in PC. In the end, the results of the measurement using the converter board are presented and discussed.
Universal Tester of Tyco Fire panel
Vítek, Ladislav ; Kalina,, Emil (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This work is aimed on design of a device for testing of fire detectors and various components of fire detection system, communicating with the fire panel over a fire bus or a loop. The device generates voltages, supplying the detectors, as well as communicating over the bus generating communication waveforms and performing detection of responses measuring voltage and current on the connection. The loop signal is processed by the developed unit and data or result sent to a PC utilizing USB or RS232 connection. All the parts of the equipment are galvanically isolated to the loop circuit.
Signal analyzer with FPGA
Kraus, Václav ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to study the possibilities of spectrum calculations, as well as data transfer via USB 3.0 and data saving to a DDR3 memory via FPGA. The focus is also on design and realization of a spectral analyzer with a record of samples to DDR memory expnaded by a narrowband converter using gate arrays. The work is divided into two sections, the first one dealing with the theoretical background. The second part denotes the realization of the design. The result of this work is a signal analyzer in a FPGA controlled from a computer application via the USB 3.0 interface.
Design digital optical output
Kubáč, Stanislav ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
This work descibes general principles of measuring the alternating current and voltage using conventional and unconventional sensors. This work shows specific parmeters conected with principles of the measurement, advantages and disadvantages of individual measuring procedures, types of output signals, precisions, limitations, ways of power and so on. Part of the work is to find optimal measurement procedure, which can be aplicated to practical measuring of alternating currents and voltage. Main part of the work concerns the realisation of optimal method of measuring alternating current.
THD Analyzer
Ha, Tuan ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of a THD analyzer for audio frequency. In the interduction, there is a description of methods of THD calculation and realization of THD analyzer. Suitable computing platform must be chosen with capability to process audio data. The expansion board is designed for audio acquisition. Part of this design is complete program that is capable of displaying spectrum and computing THD.
Design and development of sigma-delta AD converter in switched capacitor technique
Forejtek, Jiří ; Fujcik, Lukáš (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with the design of novel high order sigma-delta AD converter using switched-capacitors approach. Model of the ideal and real architecture of the third order sigma-delta modulator was designed in MATLAB SIMULINK. The comparison of the ideal and real model of sigma delta architecture is described in this thesis. On the basis of simulation results in MATLAB SIMULINK the stages of modulator on transistors level in CMOS technology were designed. Fully differential operational amplifier, switched capacitor integrator, summing amplifier, comparator, one bit digital to analog converter and nonoverlapping clock generator were designed. The circuit of third order sigma-delta modulator was simulated in CADENCE. Layout of operational amplifier and switched capacitor integrator was made. Through the use of MATLAB was designed decimation filter as well.
Automatic monitoring of fluid density
Bebej, Rastislav ; Chalupa, Jan (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on creating a device capable of monitoring the density of liquids during the fermentation process. The thesis includes the selection of a suitable principle for the measurement of the density of liquids, including the temperature compensation, the selection of suitable components and the design of schematics. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the design of a printed circuit board and wireless data transmission to a computer via Wi-Fi.
Design and fabrication of the multimeter
Daněk, Martin ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and build a multimeter. Firstly, multimeters, their history and basic parameters are described, followed by an analysis of existing solutions with a similar topic. Next, theory of measurement of basic electrical quantities is described and the first prototype is proposed. Finally, the first prototype is evaluated, necessary adjustments applied, and the final prototype is proposed and evaluated.
