Function associations in the life of the town Czech Brod in the first half of the 20th century

The topic of the thesis deals with associations of Czech Brod and their functions in the life of the city, especially in the first half of the 20th century. Work will attempt to outline the social life in the period, which was influenced by Český Brod functioning societies. Within these associations it is important to mention some figures who deserve their foundation and have been very active in public life. Of the clubs that have their functions important to the social life of the city and its development can be named for example Sokol and District Museum Society in the Czech Brod, who will be paid a substantial part of the work. Labour aims, among other things, how much these and other societies have influenced cultural life of the inhabitants of the town Czech Brod and its position in the region in the first half of the 20th century.

The Church of St. Gothard in Český Brod

The church of St. Gothard in Český Brod is one of the most important sights in this town. This Bachelor's thesis is concerned with its history, construction history and collection of architectural projects for the church. The first considerable rebuilding of the original gothic basilica was in 1613 and the second one in the second half of the 18th century, when it obtained a new late-baroque front facade and tower. The author of the baroque rebuilding is an architect Jan Josef Wirch. In the Podlipanské muzeum in Český Brod is deposited a collection of plans, which projected an unrealized regothization of church from an architect František Mikš and Vojtěch Heim, project for reconstruction and painting decoration of the church for realized rebuilding in 1912-13 and plans of look of the church in 1905 from a builder Jan Hola. Transport in the Český Brod area

This Bachelor's Thesis is focused on public transport in the Český Brod area. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on railway and bus transport, because these two transport subsystems are in Český Brod. The practical part is focused on the Prague Integrated Transport, railway transport, bus transport and continuity of railway and bus transport and it's optimization. The continuity of the two transport subsystems and it's optimization is the main objective of this Bachelor's Thesis.

The utraquist clergyman and his opinion of the urban community. Jiřík Tesák Mošovský and Český Brod

This study deals with the life of utraquist clergyman Jiřík Tesák Mošovský in urban community of Bohemian countries in the 16th and 17th century. The main topic was especially his world of ideas and his opinion of local community. In the four following chapters will be present step by step the relations between clerical and secular patrons, administration of the city Český Brod as well the routine life of Jiřík Tesák Mošovský. There were used old prints writing by Jiřík Tesák Mošovský to understand his personality. Extending knowledges about activities in the utraquist parishes before the battle of White Mountain was the main purpose of this study. New discoveries should extend knowledge about importance of the utraquist Church in history of Bohemian countries.

Outline of a complex geologic tour of Český Brod and its surroundings

The thesis focuses on summarizing geologic information concerning Český Brod and its surrounding. The sum of information is intended as a basis for a complex tour of the area for students of ninth grade of elementary schools in and around Český Brod. Students taking the proposed tour should gain complex knowledge of geologic past and present in the given area.
