Cloud computing in the field of upper secondary teaching

The diploma thesis is focused on mapping and analysis of the possibilities of using cloud computing from the point of view of a pedagogical worker at a level of higher secondary education by using a suitable method of evaluation and comparison of cloud technologies. A part of the work is devoted to ICT competences of teachers and possibilities of their further development in the field of cloud computing, withal focusing on models and programs of ICT competencies development, more precisely digital competences of national and international significance. In the practical part of the thesis, a research is carried out among pedagogical staff at secondary schools in the Czech Republic which is focused on the use of cloud computing with emphasis on competence, activities and work of pedagogical worker. The results of the research are summarized as recommendations for further practice.
Aplication of collaborative presentation tools in ICT education

This diploma thesis addresses use of cloud computing and collaborative presentation tools in ICT education in schools. It also devotes to representative applications and their evaluation and indetifies key questions which help to chose suitable application to education. Questionnaire survey evaluates application among students and proposes activities that are effective with use of these tools. This work tracks activity of students with collaborative tools and evaluates their engagement in education. Action research watches students and their work in order to evaluate engagement in education process.
Using tablets in primary education

The thesis titled Using tablets in primary education is focused on innovative education of primary school pupils. The theoretical part of the thesis defines terms related to digital and interactive mobile devices. It represents the tablet as one of the mobile technologies. It deals with their integration into education and consequently provides an analysis of the positive and negative impacts of this issue. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to use of tablets in the subject Music. The empirical part deals with using tablets in the classroom for each subject. ABSTRACT: This dissertation aims to examine the educational potential of concept maps in elementary schools and contribute to the expansion of pedagogic theory in the area of didactic resources, as well as develop a constructively oriented method of education. This work defines concept maps as didactic tools; describes them in terms of functional and didactic specifics; analyzes their theoretical results from psychological and pedagogical perspectives; and describes their potential usage in the educational process. This dissertation further focuses on the determinants that influence concept map implementation in teaching, analyzes potential assessment methods, and demonstrates several approaches for utilizing ICT to support work involving concept maps. Empirical research results are used to illuminate the didactic potential of concept maps and methods to incorporate them in teaching. Web computer game as an educational tool

This diploma thesis focuses on a didactic game and its usage within an educational process. The subject of the thesis is, on the basis of the study of the expert literature and expertly focused primary resources from various fields, to create and test a functional web computer game with didactic content. The theoretical part focuses on the very phenomenon of a game; from a historical and philosophical point of view as well as from the current interpretation of electronic games and a game in the context of didactic methods. In the empirical investigation, the thesis contains the whole development of the game, possibilities of its modification depending on users and the implementation of the didactic game in teaching. In the conclusion, the results of the research are given and recommendations for the research area of the development of other educational tools using Web applications as games are made.

This diploma work is called: Analysis of Preparation for the Post of Director in Selected OECD Countries. It focuses on preparing directors for their occupation before taking up the post. It describes the different educational systems focused on the training of directors in selected OECD countries - Czech Republic, USA, Canada, Chile. The aim is to compare the directors to prepare their profession before taking up their post in the country with a focus on teaching experience, education, legal base. The theoretical part deals with the initial training of directors prior to becoming director in terms of personality and school manager. The thesis also deals briefly with the OECD and perspective on education policy in different historical periods. The practical part describes the situation of education with a focus on directors in selected OECD countries. The conclusion set out the common elements of education directors. Application of digital learning objects for interactive whiteboard in mathematics

This thesis deals with interactive boards from a technical and didactic point of view. In the theoretical section also discusses the technology of interactive boards. It briefly describes the main repository of Czech history to the present, including the issue of downloading material from them. Analyzes the major Czech digital storage for the needs of mathematics. The practical part is based on the information in the theoretical part. It also described a newly created digital learning objects for the needs of mathematics, whose themes were identified based on the analysis contained in the Czech repositories to a small extent. For a description of each object is described as the conclusions of the deployment of these objects in practice in teaching at primary school during the school 2014/2015.
