Master's thesis describes the development and operations of The Party of Free Citizens. The thesis includes a series of terms, without which party is impossible to categorize. These terms include: liberalism, classical liberalism, libertarianism, capitalism, right-wing, euroscepticism. Thesis also includes analysis of the organizational structure, constitutional documents and political program of The Party of Free Citizens. Last but not least thesis includes summary of election results of The Party of Free Citizens. The aim of master's thesis is to describe the meaning and background of The Party of Free Citizens. To process master's thesis were used internet sources, primarily website of The Party of Free Citizens. In thesis were also used dictionaries, professional political science publications and essayistic literature type.

Comparison of political and cultural activities of the extreme right in the Czech Republic and Germany during 90's in the 20th century

Master thesis "The comparison of political and cultural activities of the extreme right in the Czech Republic and Germany during 90's in the 20th century" is firstly defining the terms related to study of the extreme right. Secondly, the thesis is analyzing success of German and Czech extreme right wing parties in the elections, then establishing and forms of membership in the extreme right organizations, making demonstrations, protest events and violent acts with extreme right context which are organized by supporters of the extreme right thoughts. Thirdly, the thesis is focusing on cultural activities, such as live music events with extreme right music artists, with outlining the lyrics of these Czech and German artists. Finally, comparative analysis is describing the form and frequency of all political and cultural activities. Conclusion of the thesis is that forms of the extreme right in the Czech Republic and Germany in the 90's were very similar, however in Germany these activities were more regular and more brutal. Concept of Democracy by Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk

The aim of the Masters thesis is to connect Masaryk's theoretical thinking about democracy with his political practice. The first part of this thesis explains the concept of democracy and changes of the approaches to democracy in European thought. The second part clarifies the Masaryk's thoughts on democracy, politics, morality, humanity and realism which develops in the context of Czech nation and it's history. The third and final part of this thesis depicts the Masaryk practical politics and his participation in public life. In particular it describes the public disputes in which Masaryk figured, his parliamentary activities, a working and a program of czechoslovak resistence abroad and his life as the President of the Czechoslovak Republic. Political Parties in Great Britain with the Focus on Liberal Democrats

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of British party system and its special features, with the focus on the main political parties in Great Britain, their history, their development and the current position within the system. The thesis employs methods of analysis of specialized sources in the English language mainly. The aim of the first part is to provide theoretical knowledge to establish background for better understanding the rest of the thesis. The following part of the thesis deals with the main political parties in Great Britain, their development, programs and their current position in the system. The most important part of the thesis is the last one, which focuses on Liberal Democratic Party, its beginnings, development and puts emphasis on the two last elections in 2010 and 2015. There is an attempt to provide an opinion on what were the reasons of the election results depending on election program, electorate and other specifications.

Eurozone, it's problems and possible integration of CR

The goal of this thesis is delimitating actual problems of the european economic and currency union and consecutive analysis whether it is advantageous for Czech republic to join it. Main methods used are synthesis of theories from various scientific texts and analysis of openly available data. In three chapters thesis investigates specifics of european economic territoty and its crisis mostly through optics of public and private debt. The result is general evaluation of seriousness of financial crisis for European union and specifically for Czech republic. Political aspects of the war of 1812

The war in 1812 is sometimes referred to as the Second War of Independence.This war was overshadowed by the Napoleonic Wars. The war was caused as a result of restrictions of the American trades. Another cause of this conflict was the tension on the border between Canada and the United States. The Americans accused the British to support the Indians in their attacks on US settlements. If the United States could bear the partial trade restrictions until the end of the Napoleonic wars, the war would never have occurred. The war lasted three years and had no winners or losers. Teacher competence development for leading students to active citizenship

The bachelor thesis is dedicated to the development of active civic attitude among pupils and to teacher education in this field. Active citizenship education is internationally recognized as a key aim of education and, along with current developments, its importance is ever growing. The aim of the paper is to research the value of the topic in the Czech environment, and whether it is integrated into teacher education. The theoretical part of the paper is dedicated to the definition of the topic, the possibilities of its development in the classroom, the specifics of teacher education in this regard, and available methodological resources. In the practical part, a quantitative survey was carried out among the students of the Faculty of Education at the Charles University, accompanied by a qualitative research among the representatives of the academy, as well as of the non-governmental sector. The hypothesises of the paper were verified by the survey: there is a great emphasis to the topic from the side of the teacher educators as well as of the students of teaching; currently, however, its application in practice is limited. From the side of the faculty, there is a growing tendention to cooperate with the non-governmental organisations, which dispose of high quality resources in teacher education...
