Slaná, Kateřina ; Wildová, Radka (advisor) ; Ronková, Jolana (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with development of the initial reading literacy in integrated thematical content (ITC). The thesis briefly describes the development of integrated thematic teaching, explains its concept and important components, and it also describes the use of this teaching technique in the 1st grade of primary schools, especially in the first years of studies. Another part of the work is focused on the personality of the pupil of younger primary school age, on his cognitive and social prerequisites for successful entry into school. The research part is implemented through several methods, where I tried to obtain a wider range of data for the use of integrated thematic teaching in the development of initial reading literacy. The observation of teaching brings insight into the practical use of this teaching model, the experiences of teachers are determined by a questionnaire survey and the knowledge and skills of three groups of pupils are investigated by a research probe, where during data processing I compare the level of partial levels of initial reading literacy in the monitored group with ITC with two control groups, which they do not...

In the second part of the theoretical part, didactic resources, both material and non-material, and teaching aids are listed and described. The empirical part is divided into three parts, in the first part the aim is to verify the functionality of the produced aids and to find out their effectiveness, the produced aids for the selected school are described and then they are verified with students. In the second part, the aim is to produce didactic aids for early literacy and thus inspire other teachers, the produced aids for early literacy are described and further innovations are devised for them. And in the third part, the aim is to find out through a questionnaire what methods, strategies and didactic aids are used by teachers in supporting students in early literacy, the answers to the questionnaire are summarized here, which answered me what methods, forms, principles and didactic aids are used most...
Creation of new tools and their use for analytical-synthetic method of reading
Chárová, Michaela ; Ronková, Jolana (advisor) ; Wildová, Radka (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to create new tools for analytical-synthetic method of reading. In the theoretical part, I present mainly the analytical-synthetic method of reading, but also other alternative methods of reading that are used in schools today. I also analyze in detail the individual stages of the analytical-synthetic method of reading and possible evaluation or diagnostics of reading. Based on the literature, I present the benefits but also the problems that may occur in teaching analytical-synthetic method. I also present teaching aids that can be used in teaching, which support this method. For comparison with aids to teaching reading by the analytical-synthetic method, I present typical aids used in the practice of reading by the genetic method. In the practical part I describe the procedures of creating teaching aids and state the appropriate use of aids in practice. I verified the functionality and usability of the aids at the primary and kindergarten school in Božičany in the district of Karlovy Vary. I created a didactic commentary for each aid, which serves as a guide to a specific aid. I consider the overview of specific activities usable in practice to be the most practical and usable for other colleagues. Thanks to this part, my diploma thesis can serve other colleagues...
