Cooperation Among Czech And Foreign Music Organizations in Education of children

The author introduces the nowadays trends in music education of children at the age of eleven and more. She deals with the topic of the actual state and the reform of music education curriculum and also with education of future music teachers. The paper also deals with the European endeavors to set some common basis for education and it further introduces activities of the most prominent Czech, European and international organizations which focus on development of music culture and music education. The centre of the thesis is the mission of the European Music Congress EAS in Prague in 2005. The practical part of the paper consists of a research of music education in some European countries. At the end of the paper, there is an interpretation of the findings. The topic of the paper is connected with problems of globalization and identity in music education and culture. Reduction of antenatal sress through music-therapy

The goal of this paper is to find whether music therapy is one of the means to be used to increase parental readiness for childbirth. The theoretic section is discussing the psychological aspects of pregnancy. One of the chapters is briefly describing the psychological aspects of childbirth. Further on, a demarcation of music therapy and its main forms is introduced. Perception of music by mother and the unborn child is described giving an enumeration of various music activities and music therapy techniques to be performed in a group of expectant mothers and their partners. The practical section is a presentation of my research concerning impact of music therapy techniques and music activities on stress level during pregnancy. Usage of such music therapy techniques during psycho-prophylactic preparation of expectant mothers and their partners for the childbirth is discussed. The first research topic ("A") is focused on the stress, anxiety and tension levels. This is done through a series of questionnaires collected during the cycle of three sessions called "music activities with elements of music therapy" attended by pregnant women with partners. Children suffering from a chronic disease

This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of tumour diseases in childhood. It describes the impact of disease 011 the personality of children and their near relations. Subsequently, the somatic, psychological and social aspects of the treatment are analysed. The thesis provides for the insight into the occupation of the medical staff working with children suffering from tumour diseases and it involves the issues of volunteers and canistherapy regarding the child patients. The case study consists of questionnaires. The final part presents conclusion of the findings gathered from the questionnaires and from the author's personal experience in volunteer work.
Burnout, focusing on the burn-up for teachers

The thesis begins with specification and characteristics of chosen topic. The introduction covers description and comparison of definitions from various authors. Burn-out process is covered exactly here including its beginning and continuance. High detail is focused on prevention of this syndrome stressing social support, psychological hygiene and human relaxation. There is mentioned a list of several professions which are endangered by burn-out most notably describing the profession of teacher in the largest analysis. Each chapter also highlights the impact on concrete part of burn-out process and again provides high detail for the role of teacher. Phenomenon of stress is covered specifically mentioning its part how it can start burn-out process. The theoretical part of this thesis also covers ways how to detect presence of burn-out syndrome. Practical part compares level of vulnerability to burn-out between teachers on two different schools, where first school is based in the capital city of Prague and the second one in Middle Bohemia. The results from each school are described and analyzed separately at first and then compared together. The whole thesis ends with final thoughts based on compared outcomes from the practical part.

Syndrom CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect) - prevention and its practice from the perspective of primary school teachers

This work deals with the problem of CAN, prevention and practice from the perspective of primary school teachers. The introductory part deals with the reason for choosing this work. It is also further developed its own problems CAN - neglect, as the lightest form of the initial abuse, and physical abuse, the incidence and forms, I looked at in detail, psychological abuse, and described the problem of sexual abuse and its forms, including systemic abuse and bullying. In the next section, I focused on the warning signs indicating the CAN syndrome, the physical, psychological and sexual abuse. There are special forms of CAN described as Münchhausenův syndrome of representation organized child abuse, ritual abuse and sex tourism. Here is a chapter on the consequences of CAN syndrome, first the short and long term consequences, the posttraumatic stress disorder with the overall post-treatment. It is also described the relationship and family violence with reference to the development of intergenerational violence. Thesis "General concept of suicide concerning individuals in the crisis moments is describing the word suicide properly, also meaning of self damaging and crisis situation are exemplified here. Historical meaning of suicide supported by unsolved questions of science has changed thru the centuries. But the essential aspect of whole problematics is a statistical analysis. Youth's Criminality Development in the Last Decade

Diploma thesis "The Development Of Youth Crime In The Last Decade" deals with alterations in youth crime development in the years 1999-2008, primarily in the Czech Republic. However, most of the developing trends are applicable to Euroamerican civilisation as a whole. The topic is divided into three main parts: seeking for purposes of youth crime, their description, and subseuent consequences of committing crime. Furthermore, other components of the thesis are crime prosecution process, and prevention of youth criminality. Practical part compares theories drawn out of expert literature with oppinions of "an average citizen" - based on semistructured questionaires. Another aim of this part is to explore how wide the spread of specific oppinions is.
