European social fund in Czech Republic and its contribution to development of adult education

This bachelor thesis focuses on European social fund and its contribution to development of adult education in Czech Republic. The contribution is observed through the outcomes of projects, which were - thanks to European social fund - realized in past 4 years. The thesis explores the changes of functions and meanings of education in society and also the changes of the concept of so-called knowledge society, which is widely discussed across the whole European Union. These problems are subsequently connected with the representation of the history and development of the European social fund. There are also represented the basic strategy documents of European Union, which are focused on the adult education problems. In a short form, the history of adult education in Czech Republic is presented too. After this, the attention turns to the history of activities of European social fund in Czech Republic and to the basic republic strategy documents, which are focused on the education problems. Marxism, neo-marxism - views of education

The work talks about education in a sociological and philosophical context. It is based on the Marxist, or rather Neomarxist, point of view, introduced in the first part of the work. It mainly focuses on Marx's historical theory and the alienation of man in capitalism. Furthermore, the works of certain authors, who wrote about these topics, as well as criticised some of the features of the late capitalistic society are briefly discussed. The term education is then put in a social context and introduced in different culturally dependent variations. The goal of this section of the work is to show the dependence of the perception of education on the current historical and social context and to elaborate on its perception in the late capitalistic society. Then a certain theoretical definition is formed, which could be essential in solving certain problems based on the current structure of social relationships. The final part investigates school and reveals it as a certain institucional conservant of the current understanding of education. It shows that even school tuition depends on the historically and socially conditioned values and therefore cannot become the primary source for redefining the meaning of education, so that it could aid in solving some of the structural problems of society.
The educational system of professional firemen in the Czech Republic

Téma práce Vzdělávací systém profesionálních hasičů v České republice jsem si vybral proto, že pracuji v Hasičském záchranném sboru Libereckého kraje na pracovní pozici hasič a zároveň studuji obor andragogika a personální řízení, který se vzděláváním dospělých přímo zabývá. Nebylo nic jednoduššího, než-li spojit svou profesi se svým studijním oborem, a tak vzniknul projekt této bakalářské práce. Nespornou výhodou spojení těchto oborů v tomto případě je, že pracovní a vzdělávací prostředí u profesionálních hasičů dobře znám z "první linie" a tento pohled může být pro výpovědní hodnotu práce kladným přínosem. Také se domnívám, že mnou vybrané téma v tomto kontextu není v České republice doposud zpracováno a z tohoto hlediska se jedná o nový vklad i tematicky. Práce je pokusem o analýzu vzdělávacích institucí a vzdělávacích procesů hasičů ve výjezdových jednotkách zaměstnaných ve státní složce Hasičského záchranného sboru České republiky (dále HZS ČR). V názvu bakalářské práce jsem použil místo termínu HZS ČR slovní spojení profesionální hasiči v České republice. Pojem profesionální hasiči není zcela přesný, protože profesionální hasič nemusí být pouze příslušníkem HZS ČR. Pod použitý pojem lze také zahrnout profesionálního hasiče podniku (HZS podniků). Human resources information systems

The work brings a project of a structure and a content of the Human Resources Management (HRM) students' education in the field of the Human Resources information Systems (HRIS). The work is founded on a research of recent status of the Enterprises Information Systems for HRM in selected companies in the Czech republic and on a stocktaking education of the subject on selected faculties of the Czech universities. Results of the research are presented in the 1s t and 2n d parts of the work. The 3r d part of the work presents the project of the HRM students' education in the field of the HRIS. At first we attend to the Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) in general and it also contains several selected parts of their technologies. The aim is a general student's orientation in questions and terminology of the EIS. Following chapters refer to human resources processes and applications of the HRIS in these processes. The final part describes implementation of the HRIS to the company and security of systems and data, too.
Systems of continuing education in pedagogy of dance

The bachelor thesis "Systems of continuing education in pedagogy of dance" presents a description of key interactions in the area of continuing education in pedagogy of dance. For the purpose of this thesis the field of pedagogy of dance is understood as a structure consisting of two main factors: three subjects (pedagogue of dance- educational organization- student) and processes by which they influence each other. The aim of the thesis is to describe these processes and their consequences. All values that orient the educational interactions in pedagogy of dance are given by these processes. The main resource of information is a research based on a quantitative questionnaire- survey . The survey was focused on mapping the situation of continuing education in pedagogy of dance as a dynamic chain of interactions among institutions, pedagogues and students.

The use of lateral thinking for solving company problems

With creative thinking we can identify general methods of problem solving, look at real life from another point of view. The method of 6 Thinking Hats is one of the creative ways to do so. The aim of this thesis is a complex review of using this method when solving a problem in a group. It tries to show creative thinking by which the group should get a certain outcome in solving the problem. The thesis analyses thoroughly all the parts of the 6 Hats method, and at the same time, it tries to view other perspectives on the workings of the method. A significant part of the thesis is aimed at the instructor, who decides to use this particular method, and his work. It should be an instrument to use for application of the 6 Thinking Hats method on a specific company problem.

"Educational institutions: business in turbulent times". Diploma thesis named "Educational institutions: business in turbulent times" is focused on actual problems concerning business of adult education institutions during the time of the turbulence. That time is being mentioned as the period during and after economic crisis, which is characterized by constant change, uncertainty and chaos. In diploma thesis there is described the impact of turbulence on the market of Czech Republic and implied paths for educational institutions to proceed in order to remain on new market environment. There are presented new concepts for management of educational institutions in terms of strategy, sales, financial and marketing. The theory is supported by taken over research regarding actual problems and trends. The main practical part of diploma thesis is econometric model, which implies the relation between investments to adult education and some macroeconomic indicators. The essential source of data for model calculation was the database of Czech statistical office. Systemic approach as the effective tool for manager development and for company management

This Diploma work describes one of the possible ways to approach the leadership and company management. The first half deals with modern approach to the theory of directing during the past century, tasks and roles of company managers including claims on the directing activity and assumptions necessary for its successful performing. The second half of the work focuses on the systemic approach. It describes its starting points and pillars, on which the systemic theory stands. The comparison of traditional and systemic coaching and the description of systemic approach philosophy demonstrate the advantages of this conception for professional and personality development of manager as well as the company. Two appendixes support the text by practical information about the manner of conducting a coaching interview and document the method of systemic coaching using results based on real work with people
