Sensory experience in art education

The diploma thesis is called "Sensory experience in art education." The theoretical part explores sensory perception through the knowledge of philosophy, psychology and art theory. It contains examples of the art works of the selected artists. It also deals with the content of RVP in relation to sensory perception and didactics of art education, with a specific purpose of designing an art project in art education. The essence of the didactic part is to devise an art project with the focus on human senses. Each of the tasks is centred on one of the senses: sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste. This project is further tested in practice with the help of the second grade students of elementary school and high school. The results are then analysed and evaluated. The amended form of the project can be currently used by art teachers. The selected tasks are the basis for the creative, authorial process of art work, which reflects the effect of the tasks and develops the students' further abilities.

Contemporary art in kindergarten

The purpose of the thesis is to describe how common objects are used in contemporary art and consequently in art classes for children in the kindergarten. The theoretical part of the paper outlines the importance of creativity in education, introduces art activities boosting development of creativity and describes what makes projects such an outstanding learning tool. The last chapter overviews contemporary Czech artists whose assortment of creative courses and methods has been used as inspiration for various art assignments in the practical part of the paper. The practical part of the paper is in the form of a project designed for a particular kindergarten. Photo documentation and the author's pedagogic reflection of the applied activities are enclosed.

Specific aspects of 20th century artwork of educational programme in gallery

The thesis focuses on difference between theoretical and didactical aspects of work with artwork of so-called great styles (from the Romance art until art of 19. century), modern and postmodern artefact. It surveys the current thought of the early 21st century about art and visual culture. On the basis of this thought educational programs for gallery space come up. Within the framework of the thesis, two confrontational gallery educational programs have been proposed. At the end of the thesis, based on the comparison of these programs the specific aspects of 20th century artwork of educational programme in gallery have been formulated.

Art education for pupils with special needs

This thesis is focused on assessing applications of educational contents and goals of the subject Art in the school for pupils with special educational needs. Firsly are characterized the Framework educational programme and School educational programme. Consequently is analyzed the content of School educational program at Elementary and Practical school Svítání, o.p.s. Through action research there are compared the contents of the above binding documents with reality of teaching in the school, which deals with the education of pupils with special educational needs. Action research was realized through video record, transcriptions and analysis of recorded lessons, evaluation of used forms and methods in teaching practice, suggestions and subsequent implementations of didactic art education project with pupils of this school. The work with Framework and School educational programme revealed that the School educational programme subjected to analysis is too focused only on art techniques and specific themes, almost disregards Framework educational programme and very limitedly works with curriculum or expected outcomes discussed herein. Between image and reality: art education at a four-year high school and RVP GV

Ve své práci se zaměřují především na postižení změn funkcí a cílů výtvarné výchovy, jak se projevují v každodenní praxi. Snažím se zachytit dynamiku procesu komunikace a poznávání v jednotlivých vyučovacích hodinách či v rámci tematických celků, které, ač nejsou explicitně definovány v žádném z dokumentů školního kurikula, jeví se jako podstatné pro výchovně vzdělávací obsah výtvarné výchovy. Zaměřuji se především na otázky týkající se vzájemného dorozumění a z něj vyplývající věrohodnosti týkající se předávaných hodnot a stanovisek. Jedná se především o dynamiku postupné orientace studentů v oblasti vnímání, uvědomování si a vytváření symbolických významů. Zaměřuji se na způsoby rozvíjení dovedností rozpoznávat kulturně, historicky, sociálně i individuálně podmíněné významové struktury, v jejichž rámci chápeme, reflektujeme a posuzujeme nejen díla výtvarného umění a produkty své vlastní tvůrčí činnosti, ale také svoje úsudky, výroky a postoje k nim vztažené. Má práce je tvořena třemi vzájemně propojenými a úzce souvisejícími obsahovými celky. První je věnován reflektivnímu dialogu jako základní metodě komunikace a vzdělávání a výchovy v hodinách. Two-branch study as an opportunity to be original

The thesis focuses on the possibility of designing an original concept of integration of art education with English language. The theoretical part primarily deals with the issues of creativity and originality in teaching art education, with the possibility of connecting art education and English language education and with the concept of language as a code. In the didactic-research part a didactic project based on authorial approach to integration of English language in art education is created, put into practice and critically evaluated. The first realization of the project aims to verify the possibility of its conduction and to evaluate the project from students' point of view. It is followed by the second realization, which is used for purposes of a research inquiry focused on gathering findings concerned with the integration of art education with English language in the realization of authorial project of interdisciplinary teaching. In the research part author's own reflections of the lessons, selected reflections of the students and selected students' art works (gathered during the realization of the project) are analysed. Space, time and material in fine art and art education

The theoretical part is about concepts of places, landscape, genius loci, Land Art and in those concepts are connected through the walking. The theoretical part is structured into various individual "imaginary steps", the development of my thoughts on the subject and then refers to the cultural contexts. In the practical part I focus on descriptions and examples of my own artistic realization. The last didactic part describes the model learning schemes. I tried to follow starting experience, i.e. scheme: to live - to think out - to tell. The main part is mainly inspired by my one year study in Lisbon in Portugal. Just stay here and the opportunity to perform physically demanding 750 km long pilgrimage route across Portugal, forms the basis of my practical part performance art.
