Some aspects of volunteer work at floorball events

Title: Some aspects of volunteer work at floorball events Objectives: Main objectives of this research is to find reasons, which lead volunteers in floorball area to participate repeatedly in volunteering and get information from them, which can be used for making suggestions, that can improve future floorball volunteerism. Other task is to find out conditions which can attract more people from floorball area to participate in volunteering. Methods: Main research method is structured questionnaire, which was distributed electronically. Used qualitative methods, interview and own observation were used to get specifically related information. Results: Results of this thesis help to make suggestions, which would lead to improve organising and conditions for volunteers at floorball events. Another aim of the thesis is to find out how to attract more volunteers. Reasons of the participation in volunteering and satisfaction of volunteers at floorball events are also part of the research. Title: Image of FAT PIPE brand Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is through research to analyze the image of FAT PIPE brand on domestic market, and with reference to results provide suggestions for its improvement. Methods: This thesis uses the method of quantitative research, concretely electronic questioning. The question sheet was posted on a web and Facebook pages of clubs, which are taking part in Czech floorball leagues, with request to spread it among their members. Results: The results of research, which was aimed on image of FAT PIPE brand, show good position on market. Consciousness about FAT PIPE appears as high, while the brand is considered as above-average. On the other hand is rated as common, probably because of high-level competition on the market. Floorball players see its products as quality, while having a higher price than average. Although the brand is considered as well-known, more particular informations are not known among the respendents. FAT PIPE then should aim on improving availability of these informations to improve connection between the brand and the consumer. Title: Research on the perception of Skechers brand product design viewed by generation Y Goals: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to find how generation Y perceives the sports shoes design of Skechers brand. To determine, which design factors are the most important during the selection of a sports shoes. An integral part of the thesis is to choose the most popular types of sports shoes, in the eyes of generation Y and also to find out how they perceive stoles of those shoes and their thallus. Methods: The practical part of this thesis, the marketing research, was conducted via electronic questionnaire, which was distributed using social networks and email. The main part of the questionnaire consists of pictures of Skechers shoes, and also of general questions asking respondents about their perception of sports shoes design. Results: Results of the research will be used not only to evaluate how sports shoes design of the Skechers brand is perceived by generation Y but also ease the choice for specific Czech shoe selling companies when selecting from a new collection of products. 1 Abstract Topic: History and marketing analysis of NBA Objectives: The main objective of this work is to intorduce and descibe the highest american basketball league - NBA. Clarify the historical organizational structure, function in society, practical operation and thier marketing component. Another else to further evaluate increasing of foreign players in this organization. Detect trends of using various marketing tools, promotional activities, way of raising finance and operation of entire systém. In conclusion, I express using SWOT analysis of positive and negative aspects for current and future functioning of the entire league. Conditions of volunteering in selected sport events

Title: Conditions of volunteering in selected sport events Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the area of volunteering in selected sports events. The metodology of work with volunteers is presented specifically in the concrete areas of volunteering management. Using the data from extremely diffrent sports events the characteristics of volunteering in sports are defined. The partial goal of the conclusion is to make recommendations based on the research, which would improve sports volunteering at similar events and make it more effective. Methods: The research itself was carried out by using questionairs filled in by volunteers at the European Athletics Indoor Championships and local orienteering competitions. The complementary method is an interview with the director of orienteering competition. Results: The results of the research reflect the largerly different conditons of organizing the chosen events both in the area of managing the volunteers as well as in other key activities. Even though great differences between the two evaluated events exist, there are certain chracteristics of sports volunteering which are common to both the events. Dále autor na jednotlivých nástrojích marketingového mixu navrhne možné směry a opatření pro další rozvoj sportovního o této práci byla využita pro získání dostatečného množství potřebných dat navržení konkrétních opatření kvantitativní metoda elektronického dotazníkového šetření pro zákazníky kamenné prodejny a e Dále byly použity kvalitativní metody polostrukturovaného interview s obchodu, nestrukturovaného zúčastněného pozorování a situační analýzy SWOT. Zvolené metody poskytly autorovi získat dostatečné podklady pro navržení konkrétních změn a opatření. Výsledky: Hodnocení marketingové koncepce kamenné prodejny a e zákazníků odhalilo převážně pozitivní výsledky, které korespondují kladnými recenzemi na obchod v internetových srovnávačích zboží. NHL and crisis

Title: NHL and crisis Objectives: The goal of this diploma thesis is to analyze crisis of the National Hockey League and to make the economic forecast of the league and chosen clubs. Other goals are to introduce the league, its game system and the way of leading. Then to make an analysis of each crisis which the NHL went through during its history and to identify their causes. Methods: A qualitative and quantitative research, concretely descriptive analysis and the linear regression, which was made by the Microsoft Excel programme and its function TREND, were used in this thesis. Descriptive analysis was used for introduction of the National Hockey League and for definition of the main terms about the topic. The Microsoft function TREND was used for the forecast of the NHL and NHL team's economic situation. Results: Result of this diploma thesis is a summary of the most important terms and facts about the National Hockey League. Also a summary of the NHL crisis and an identification of their reasons. The main reason is that the team owners have completely different interests than the players, which can result to the lockout. The lockouts harm the richest teams and help the poorer ones, sometimes it can even solve them from bankruptcy. The biggest problem has been the high level of player's salary....

Title: Popularity of rhythmic gymnastics in Milevsko Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis is to find out the interest about rhythmic gymnastics in Milevsko, to identify the knowledge of the population and thein attitudes to the rhythmic gymnastics, to take progression rhythmic gymnastics and to approach sports history of Milevsko. Methods: To obtain the necessary information to making bachelor thesis was using electronic and through personal interviews questionnaire which was formed for the purpose of this thesis. It was also used depth interview method. Processing of theoretical background the thesis was made with the various sources of literature. Result: Researches have found attitudes city residents Milevsko to gymnastics. The main causes influencing popularity of rhythmic gymnastics have revealed based on the interviews and was described possible measures which one could serve to increase public interest to this sports branch. Title: Attitudes of pupils and students to rugby Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to find out the attitudes of pupils and students to rugby. Another objective is to make some recommendations to improve the recruitment of young players to rugby teams. Methods: Primary research by personally administered questionnaires was used to obtain the relevant information on attitudes of pupils and students to rugby. Results: Based on the research, the attitudes of pupils and students to rugby were discovered, specifically their interest in this sport, their willingness to try it and barriers to play it. The research showed on low knowledge of rugby of the people in the main target group and their viewing rugby in comparison to other sports. Measurement of Service Quality in Sport by Brady`s Model

Title: Measurement of Service Quality in Sport by Brady`s Model Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze quality of services provision in SC Palmovka using Brady`s model. The research revealed various shortcomings of provided services to which appropriate solutions were proposed in order to help SC Palmovka increase provided services quality and customer satisfaction. Methods: The research used a multidimensional Brady`s model concerning the perceived quality of service. Individual dimensions were investigated by questionnaire survey focused on customers. The leadership team of SC Palmovka also added an estimate of the results to the research. Results: Research results are shown in the cross classification and graphs. The data obtained from research helped to identify services that should be improved according to customers. Based on the results, recommendations designed to alleviate or eliminate the drawbacks were set. This should help SC Palmovka to achieve higher quality of provided services as well as increased customer satisfaction.
