Horáková, Monika ; Pfeiffer, Magdalena (advisor) ; Pauknerová, Monika (referee)
RÉSUMÉ This master's thesis presents a detailed study on the topic of maintenance obligation in international private law, especially on maintenance obligation from parents towards children. This thesis examines the origins of maintenance order regulations, in particular we present analysis of "Haag Protocol of 23 November 2007 on the Law Applicable to Maintenance Obligations". This thesis also deals with "Council Regulation (EC) No 4/2009 of 18 December 2008 on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and cooperation in matters relating to maintenance obligations" and how this protocol relates to the Haag Protocol of 23 November 2007. The first chapter examines the sources of the regulation of the term "maintenance obligation" in private international law, especially on conflict of law rules. The conflict of law rules are covered - on the state level by law "91/2012 Sb.", about international law private, on the european level in "Council Regulation (EC) No 4/2009 of 18 December 2008 on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and cooperation in matters relating to maintenance obligations", and on the international level in Haag Protocol. The last sub- chapter of the first chapter covers the issues of law dealing with international protection of...
Optimisation of SIA decarbazine determination
Horáková, Markéta ; Sklenářová, Hana (advisor) ; Chocholouš, Petr (referee)
Dacarbazine was determinated by sequential injection analysis with chemiluminiscence detection during reaction of sample and KMnO4 in sulfuric acid. Reagent volumes, their concentrations, flow rate and structure of cycle were optimised. Also the influence of solvents (water, 60% ethanol, 60% methanol) and enhancers of CL reaction (sodium polyphosphate, formic acid, glutaraldehyde and formaldehyde) was tested. Final optimal conditions are: 40 μl 1 M H2SO4, 3 μl 10 mM KMnO4, 30 μl 10 mM solution of dacarbazine, 40 μl 1 M H2SO4, eventually aspiration of 50 μl enhancer. Aspiration of the solutions proceeded in flow rate 100 μl/s, mixing and flow rate to the detector was 40 μl/s. Washing with oxalic acid was used after each measurement cycle to prevent KMnO4 settling on tubes. Voltage at the photomultiplier of the detector was 420 V. The calibration relations of CL intensity to concentration of the samples were nonlinear with possibility of selection of linear areas. The linear area for the solution of dacarbazine without enhancers wasn't found with correlation coefficient high enough, for the solution of dacarbazine with 60% methanol was 0.5 - 10 mmol/l, for the solution of dacarbazine with 1.39 M formic acid 4 - 10 mmol/l. Limit of detection for the solution of dacarbazine without enhancers was 0.1474...

Horáková, Markéta ; Sklenářová, Hana (advisor) ; Chocholouš, Petr (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of analytical chemistry Candidate: Mgr. Markéta Horáková Consultant: PharmDr. Hana Sklenářová Ph.D. Title of Thesis: Study of chemiluminescence properties of metformin using sequential injection analysis Chemiluminescent properties of metformin were studied using a sequential injection analysis in the three systems with different composition of the reagents. The first system used potassium permanganate and sulfuric acid, the second cerium sulfate tetrahydrate and (tris (2,2 '-bipyridyl) dichloro-ruthenium hexahydrate. The third system used the N- bromsukcinimid and fluorescein. The flow rate, concentration and volumes of reagents, scheme of the measuring cycle and used solvents have been optimized into the first two systems. The concentration of N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) and fluorescein in the third system were based on data found in literature [Zhouping Wang, Anal. Lett. 2003]. The volume and speed were detected automatically using the program FaFSIAOptim, created the Department of Analytical Chemistry. Scheme of the measuring cycle was optimized in the same way as in the previous two systems. During the optimization, and subsequent measurements revealed that the only suitable system is the third system with NBS and...

Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Analytical Chemistry Candidate: Michaela Horáková Supervisor: Ludmila Matysová Title of Diploma Thesis: Determination of Degradation Product of Tetracaine hydrochloride by Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography This diploma thesis deal with using UHPLC for determination of tetracaine hydrochloride and its degradation products, p-aminobenzoic acid and p-n-butylaminobenzoic acid. Separation was achieved by using Kinetex 5 µ XB- C18 100A column and the eluent, acetonitrile-buffer, when buffer containing water with phosphoric acid (pH=2.2) at a flow rate of 1.7 ml/min. Gradient elution was chosen, which began at 35 % of acetonitrile, in the second minute rised to 95 % of organic phase, and then descended to 35 % in the fourth minute. Ethylparaben was used as an internal standard. The wavelengths 300 nm for tetracaine hydrochloride and its degradation products, and 240 nm for internal standard were chosen for detection. Validation approved that this method provides accurate and precise results.
Sky Woman, Trickster, Windigo: Reflections of Traditional Storytelling in Contemporary Canadian Indigenous Novel
Marešová, Jana ; Kolinská, Klára (advisor) ; Horáková, Martina (referee) ; Veselá, Pavla (referee)
Sky Woman, Trickster, Windigo: Reflections of Traditional Storytelling in Contemporary Canadian Indigenous Novel Žena z nebe (Sky Woman), Šprýmař (Trickster), Windigo: Reflexe tradičního vypravěčství v současném kanadském indigenním románu Mgr. Jana Marešová ABSTRACT Storytelling is an essential constituent of Indigenous cultures in Canada which transmits and preserves Indigenous knowledge and value systems. This work examines the way contemporary Indigenous writers work with the tradition of oral storytelling in their writing. At first, the role and importance of storytelling for Indigenous cultures, and consequently for literature, is discussed. The following analysis of individual novels is centered around three characters significant and recurrent in Indigenous storytelling - Sky Woman, the trickster, and the windigo, and it studies the way oral storytelling shapes the narrative styles, and how Indigenous referential frameworks are manifested in this process. The theoretical background is informed mainly by sources from Indigenous scholars and the texts are analysed through concepts based on Indigenous perspectives on storytelling, which hopes to bring a different view on these texts than the readings based on postcolonial and postmodern theory frequently applied in recent decades. This dissertation...
Nutritional status of patients hospitalized for diabetic foot syndrome - retrospective analysis
Horáková, Markéta ; Gojda, Jan (advisor) ; Krauzová, Eva (referee)
Diabetic foot syndrome is a serious chronic complication of diabetes mellitus, caused by a number of factors such as neuropathy, angiopathy, infection, and above all, this syndrome is consequence of a poor diabetes compensation and cardiovascular risk factors. It is characterized by particularly impaired wound healing and a higher tendency to chronicity, which can often be a reason for disability of the patient. Nutrition plays a very important role in a patient hospitalized with diabetic foot syndrome, as adequate coverage of energy and nutritional needs is essential for successful treatment and healing of ulcers. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis first mentions diabetes mellitus, its basic characteristics and briefly describes the types of diabetes that are associated with diabetic foot syndrome. Acute and chronic complications of diabetes are also discussed, followed by a more extensive chapter on the diabetic foot syndrome itself. This is the very definition of the term, epidemiology, pathogenesis, classification, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of this syndrome. The last chapter deals briefly with general nutritional recommendations for diabetics and the nutritional status of patients in which they are most often found when they are admitted to hospital, which is malnutrition,...
