Saglová, Tereza ; Suchý, Jiří (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
This master's thesis focuses on ball games for overweight children. Its aim is to propose a set of enjoyable exercise units used by physical education teachers, coaches and parents. The work was conducted in collaboration with the national program BF24, which aims to prevent obesity in children. The theoretical part addresses the diagnosis of obesity and overweight, describing measurement methods and recommended physical activities for overweight children in the early school years. It also emphasizes the importance of play and the inclusion of balls in sports activities. Based on the theoretical foundation, the practical part selects suitable ball games for overweight children in the early school years. I have developed 15 exercise units, which are categorized by focus into 4 categories - ball handling, throwing, and catching, hitting the target and coordination skills with the ball. They all have one common goal and that is the motivation for regular sports activity for overweight children. Ball games are divided into individual parts - introductory, main, and final. The entire exercise unit is spread over 45 minutes. Each exercise unit includes objectives, recommended age range and number of children, location, and necessary equipment for implementation. The preparations were designed to be...

Palán, Václav ; Suchý, Jiří (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the use of plyometric exercises for badminton players. The theoretical part consists of two main parts. The first part is dedicated to the general characteristics of badminton, from its history to all the sport components represented. The second part characterizes plyometrics from historical, physiological and methodological perspectives. The objectives of the thesis include an analysis of the literature on plyometrics, a search for relevant studies on the use of plyometric exercises for badminton players and their summaries, a search for adequate plyometric exercises with a plyometric box on social media, and finally the compilation of a set of plyometric exercises with a box and on court. We achieved these objectives by researching the literature on badminton and plyometrics, entering keywords into an internet search to find expert studies, creating tables and graphs to provide an achieved sporting results, and were inspired to create a set of plyometric box exercises by the available literature and public posts on social media. Exercises with the box and on the court are also accompanied by photographs. The result of the work brings the claim that plyometric training has a positive effect on the dynamic strength of the lower limbs of badminton players and on...
Impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the physical fitness of female volleyball players between the age of 14 and 16.
Bendová, Tereza ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the physical fitness of girls aged 14 to 16. The aim of this work is to evaluate the impact of the pandemic on a particular group of female volleyball players on the basis of recorded data. The theoretical part focuses on the pandemic itself, but mainly on the physical activity linked with the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The theoretical part also expands on information about volleyball and the individual player positions. The practical part deals with the recorded data and its evaluation. For data collection, I chose special motor tests performed on volleyball that test specific motoric abilities of volleyball players. The results showed that the physical fitness of the female volleyball players deteriorated in all tested areas. The biggest percentual deterioration can be found in the K-test used to measure speed. The deterioration rate was recorded in 100% of the players. Furthermore, when comparing whether the players' performance after returning to training recovered to their pre-pandemic levels, I found that not all players were able to perform the same. ADHD problematic at elementary school in physical education class
Janíková, Alice ; Dlouhý, Martin (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
The theoretical part defines the ADHD concept, its causes, symptoms of this disorder and available treatment and aids to help a student with ADHD. Possible associated diseases are described as well. The paper also focuses on physical education, its history and development. The didactic principles of teaching physical education at initial stages of primary schools are also included. In the practical part, structured interviews with parents and teachers are used to identify problems that occur or may occur to students with ADHD during a physical education class, or at home. Physical education during a coronavirus pandemic was restrained, therefore the research tried to find out how those children were doing exercises and how the effort of the teachers looked like in respect to physical education. Based on these answers, a set of games / lessons was created that would help to prevent difficulties. Those activities should be designed to be manageable to practice them at home in the spaces between online lessons, even for ADHD students. Drábek, Lukáš ; Suchý, Jiří (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the physical fitness of children in elementary school. The aim of this work is to determine the level of physical fitness of children in the 5th and 6th grade of elementary school and to compare the results with national testing. The UNIFITTEST 6- 60 test battery was used in the research investigation, which evaluates the achieved level of movement skills in four motor tests, which were also carried out during national testing. The first part of the research is an introductory measurement (pretest), in which the pupils of both classes are measured using four motor tests - a long jump from a standing position, a sit- down repeatedly, an endurance shuttle run and a 4x10 meter shuttle run. Within the measured period, the tested sample (5th grade) is lead for eight weeks to improve the given movement skills. In the final measurement (posttest), motor tests are performed with both groups and the change compared to the pretest is monitored. At the end, the achieved results of the 5th and 6th grades are compared with the outlook for the results of the national testing of the 7th grades. The research results are mentioned at the end of the practical part of the thesis. From the results, we can observe the continuing trend of reduced physical fitness of children and a large...
