Determination of stability constants of charged cyclodextrine complexes by capillary electrophoresis
Beneš, Martin ; Dubský, Pavel (referee) ; Zusková, Iva (advisor)
Martin Beneš Determination of stability constants of charged cyclodextrin comlexes by capillary electrophoresis Abstract Stability constant characterizes binding interaction between an analyte and complexation agent. These interactions play very important role in separation processes of, in other way undistinguishable, compounds, e.g. enantiomers. The most widely used complexation agents are cyclodextrins. Affinity capillary electrophoresis (ACE) belongs to methods suitable for the determination of stability constants. The stability constant is determined from the dependence of the effective mobility of analyte on the increasing concentration of complexation agent in background electrolyte (BGE). If charged CDs are used, the attention must be paid not only to viscosity of the BGE and to the influence of Joule heating on the temperature in the capillary but also to the increasing ionic strength. The thermodynamic stability constants of R,R- and S,S-hydrobenzoin and R- and S-(3-brom- 2-methyl-1-propanol) with cationic modified β-cyclodextrin: 6-monodeoxy-6-mono(3- hydroxy)propylamino-β-cyclodextrin hydrochlorid (PABCD) were determined by affinity capillary electrophoresis. The average temperature (25řC) of the BGE in the capillary was kept constant. This was achieved by decreasing of the cassette temperature...
Epistemologic limits of selected approaches to language
Beneš, Martin ; Lehečková, Eva (referee) ; Macurová, Alena (advisor)
The aim of this text is to comment and critically evaluate the epistemology of selected approaches to language: namely European structuralism (Saussure, Hjelmslev, Prague School), generative grammar, the linguistics of la parole and text linguistics and cognitive approaches to language. In particular, the aim is to comment epistemological limits of these approaches with regards to the two basic facts. Firstly, with regard to the fact that what these approaches define as their object field is in fact only a partial section of the whole subject field of linguistics (looked upon through the purposes of this work as a specifically structured communication model). Secondly, this text will investigate the relations between these approaches and an important claim of the philosopher of science T. S. Kuhn. Kuhn in his widely known book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions says: "There is, I think, no theory-independent way to reconstruct phrases like ‚really there'." (Kuhn, 1970, p. 206). That means whether claims based on epistemology of particular approaches describe objective reality or only give us a description of their own theoretical constructs.
SEO audit and content analysis of the selected website
Beneš, Martin ; Bubeníček, Jan (advisor) ; Truhlář, Filip (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with SEO audit and content analysis for a particular website. The aim is to outline the process of search engine optimization and then verify if the website is sufficiently optimized on the basis of the information gathered. The theoretical part is defined by basic problems, the most commonly used methods of optimization and link-building, and outlined the process of creating keyword analysis. Then there is a brief explanation about how search engines work and which factors are crucial for evaluating the positions of web pages in a search. At the end it describes the necessary tools for a quality SEO audit. In the practical part, there will be an executed SEO audit on the basis of theoretical knowledge along with content analysis, which will be based on the keyword analysis. Part of SEO audit will be specific recommendations for increasing traffic from organic search.

A thorough analysis of the current state mapping the OSH area from legislation and possibilities for application of the system approach and the various methods for identifying, analyzing and evaluation of occupational risks point of view. Selected methods are applied on the model of real enterprise, when after the risks evaluation was recommended appropriate measures to eliminate them. The chosen measures and the procedure implementation’s, was designed with regard to their applicability and effectiveness with the possibility of future modifications according to company development.
Forensic Analysis in Linux OS
Beneš, Martin ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with possibilities of forensic analysis on Linux operating system investigation. Forensic investigation is performed on test installation of Xubuntu using BackTrack distribution and tools included on it. The thesis is divided into chapters, starting with operating system Linux basics, continuing with requirements for investigator and his equipment to tools used for analysis. All discussed tools are available for free, their size vary from simple and small tools to complex frameworks. Theoretical knowledge is applied to real system and usage of tools is shown. This thesis ends with forensic report, which summarizes all findings gathered during investigation.

Czech-Indian and Indian-Czech cultural standards in the workplace
Kubiszová, Daniela ; Křečková Kroupová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Beneš, Martin (referee)
Nowadays, most of the countries in the world are getting more and more dependent on each other, both politically and economically. Along with that, cultural clash comes inevitably influencing are private lives and working environment. Multinational companies get the opportunity of using the potential of diverse cultural environment which is challenging the managers, and other employees, to increase their competencies. The goal of this thesis is to identify the Indian cultural standards from the Czech point of view and the Czech ones from the Indian point of view. The theory of the thesis is based on cultural models by Geert Hofstede and Fons Trompenaars. The cultural standards are being identified by using the method of critical incidents where the selected respondents are being interviewed. The thesis analyses at which aspects the two examined cultures differ the most and how it influences the working environment and performance. The research results are compared to other theoretical models and the thesis provides recommendations on how to work with the identified standards in order to make the Indian-Czech cooperation as efficient as possible.
Unemployment in the district of Děčín - efficiency of active labour market policy
Beneš, Martin ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Durdisová, Jaroslava (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the success rate, targets and expenses of retraining courses in the Děčín district between the years 2007 -- 2012. The targets were evaluated using the targeting index and the success rate using the gross effect. Retraining courses in the Děčín district were aimed the least at minorities; on the other hand we can observe signs of the creaming off effect. Thanks to the gross effect it was observed that within 12 months after attending retraining courses, 50 % of candidates found a new job. Retraining courses as a tool are therefore effective. An indirect relationship was observed between the length of unemployment and the level of gross effect. A 3 year return of the retraining courses was observed at work. Highest proportion of data for the thesis was obtained from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Czech Statistical Office and from the Report on the Situation of the Labour Market in Děčín
