Nízkoenergetický rodinný dům
Beneš, Martin
The bachelor thesis deals with design low-energy house whose packaging construction has in terms of thermal calculations meet the requirements for passive houses. Thus, the work further describes the general requirements for passive house and principles their application. Furthermore is also analyzed the various ways of foundations passive buildings and their construction systems and the justification their design. The house is designed as a two-storey wooden house for a five members family. The building is rectangular in ground plan which is based on the wall footings and is located in steep terrain. On the chosen construction systems individual constructions is made design documentation and a rough calculation of the building.
Relationship between statutory minimum wage and unemployment rate for selected groups of unemployed in the years 1998-2016
Beneš, Martin ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Bartůsková, Lucia (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to analyse the relationship between the level of unemployment of selected groups of vulnerable persons on the labor market and the level of the statutory minimum wage. The theoretical part deals with the basic models of impact of the minimum wage on unemployment and presents several studies with similar objectives. In the analytical part, the use of graphical and correlation analysis examines the influence of the statutory minimum wage on the level of unemployment of vulnerable persons. The research was conducted for the period 1998-2016. Based on the results, the hypothesis is verified as "there exists a certain relationship between the level of unemployment and the statutory minimum wage". This hypothesis is confirmed for three of the six groups of vulnerable persons (people with disabilities, people below the age of 19, and people above the age of 50).
Introduction to the Theory of Language Correctness
Beneš, Martin ; Adam, Robert (advisor) ; Bermel, Neil Halford Andrew (referee) ; Dolník, Juraj (referee)
Introduction to the Theory of Language Correctness. The theme of this Thesis is the novel conceptualization of the subject field, which is, in the Czech context, traditionally dealt with within the theory of language cultivation, from the perspective of the so-called ontological "socialism" (esp. Itkonen, 1978; 2003). The first two chapters explain why the subject field of the (theory of) language cultivation is to be newly approached from this very perspective. The conceptual discussion in the first chapter identifies three underresearched factors (reaction of the Protectorate elites to the Nazi occupation policy; variety-based approach to the "language" and physicalism) that had negative effect to the debate on these questions and therefore they should not be taken into consideration; the terminological discussion in the second chapter supports the claim that it is not suitable to associate the traditional term (theory of) language cultivation with this novel conceptualization. The third chapter introduces in detail the so-called ontological "socialism" according to which there are not only spatiotemporal entities, i.e. language means, but also non-spatiotemporal entities, i.e. language rules qua actually existing social facts, in the subject field of linguistics. The fourth chapter provides a...
A diffusion-based model of signal transduction in the vertebrate olfactory sensory neuron, and its sensitivity analysis
Beneš, Martin ; Zápotocký, Martin (advisor) ; Jelínek, Jan (referee)
The goal of this model is to create and to implement qualitative model of the signal track of olfactory sensory neuron, including the feedback with a focus on diffusion of substances that allows to conduct more simulations for the better understanding of dynamics of the signal track. This model is expected to be used for the simulation of influencing during the activation of two receptors in firstly defined distance. Model was created and therefore implemented in a programming language Python with the use of library STEPS. Then I have conducted sensitivity analysis by a method Morris OAT on the model, together with an optimization with the usage of change of individual parameters with a great importance on the output of the model. Model is conducting good and biologically comparable results when there are from 10 to 100 active receptors at the beginning of the track. Unfortunately with a lower numbers, the results are not valid and therefore not to be used for the simulation of influencing of two activated receptors. Despite this is a main benefit of the work the model of signal transduction for the whole signal track with an included feedback and emphasis on diffusion. Another benefit is a set of scripts for the sensitivity analysis by a method Morris OAT and optimization.
Evolution of discourse markers in Czech: case study of vždyť
Doischer, Tomáš ; Zíková, Magdalena (advisor) ; Beneš, Martin (referee)
The main goal of this paper is to analyze one specific Czech discourse marker, vždyť, both from the synchronic and diachronic position. In the context of this analysis, some questions of linguistic methodology are discussed. Most of this analysis focused on its semantic properties, which were described using the NSM methodology (Natural Semantic Metalanguage). NSM allows its users to describe the meaning of grammatical words in natural language, thanks to which a researcher can formulate the expression's function without having to use a complicated and obscure terminology. The resulting definition of vždyť is compared to the description found in Czech dictionaries, whose authors, unlike my approach, describe the meaning of vždyť in terms of multiple senses, polysemy. Apart from semantics, a small part of the chapter is dedicated to the description of other properties of vždyť, e. g. phonetics. In the diachronic analysis, a hypothesis is formulated about the emergence of vždyť from the originally temporal marker vždy, explaining it on the basis of conversational implicatures. That is illustrated by some examples of vždy from the earliest available linguistic data from Czech. I then describe the meaning of vždyť in Old Czech, while speculation about its further development is hindered by the lack of adequate...
Overview of mathematics for study of physical chemistry
Břížďala, Jan ; Zusková, Iva (advisor) ; Beneš, Martin (referee)
Physical chemistry is a discipline, that is related to the knowledge learned in general chemistry and there is necessary to know some mathematical operations. The bachelor work presents the results of a research, where there was investigated the knowledge of selected mathematical topics among students. Furthermore the level of schooling where the students first learned these topics was being elicited. The outcomes of this survey show that the most difficult mathematical chapters for the students are those, which are essential for physical chemistry. In the following part of the bachelor work some print and e-sources of mathematics are analysed. The crucial part of this work is the summary of mathematical topics essential for the study of physical chemistry. This summary is included in the structure of this bachelor work and it is accesible on-line too. A
Study of complexation equilibria by capillary zone electrophoresis
Beneš, Martin ; Zusková, Iva (advisor) ; Coufal, Pavel (referee) ; Kašička, Václav (referee)
Capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) is one of the most widely used analytical methods for separation of chiral analytes. In contrast to the other common chiral separation methods, chiral complexation agent is usually added directly to the background electrolyte to create enantioselective separation environment. Thus, the type and the concentration of chiral selector can be easily varied, which results in high flexibility of separation system. The detail understanding of electrophoretic separation systems with complexation involved is the main goal of this thesis. One of the most important advantages of capillary electrophoresis is existence of its complete mathematical model, which was implemented in several simulation programs. They can provide detail insight into the separation process or predict the separation results. However, none of the available simulators is suitable for complexing separation systems, which limits its applicability for chiral separation systems. For this reason, in the scope of this thesis we introduce the complete mathematical model of electromigration for separation systems with complexation agents. The model was implemented in our dynamic simulator Simul 5 and was verified experimentally. The new version of Simul 5 Complex provides the overall picture about the electrophoretic...
