Individualization in pre-school and elementary education

The diploma thesis "Individualization in Preschool and Elementary Education" deals with an individualized education of preschoolers and children at the primary school stage. It is a case study with direct observation, interviews and studying the relevant documents qualitatively examines in detail the individualization in a particular educational institution in order to gain insight into its real individualized learning using representative sample to clarify its meaning. The thesis has both theoretical and practical forms and is aimed at studying the possibility of the individualized learning. It analyzes a specific way of teachers' pedagogical work with preschool children and school children in primary education. The first chapter of the theoretical part is based on knowledge drawn from several information sources about the individualization as an organizational form of education and also on synthesis of findings from several pedagogical and psychological disciplines influencing individualized learning; the second chapter describes the basic terms, principles, types, systems and special organizations of individualized educational work. The Relationship Between Teacher and Pupil in Extracurricular Education

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the relationship between teacher and pupil in extracurricular education. This theme was chosen on the basis that extracurricular education, specifically the creation of the relationship between teacher and pupil in extracurricular education, not by me a lot of literature and it is still an area less discussed. The theoretical part of the thesis I have dealt with the interaction between teacher and pupil, which was the subject of my research. I compared the extracurricular and school education, I have focused on the personality of the teacher and the pupil, and the shaping of the relationship between teacher and pupil. The aim of theoretical part was to compare the school and extracurricular education, characterize the personality of the teacher and pupil and describe the process of forming a relationship between teacher and pupil in school education. The empirical part I made research, which I used qualitative method as a tool chosen semi-structured interview. Interview was directed to teachers who deal with extracurricular education. Methods of Implementation of the Global Development Education at Czech Primary and Grammar Schools

The master thesis deals with the issue of the Global Development Education. It is focused closer on the description of the implementation methods of this topic into the Czech education system. Global Development Education is not mentioned directly in the Framework Education Programmes of the Czech Republic. Nevertheless the Framework Education Programmes contain it. Global Development Education goes across the Cross-curricular Topics. However that could be the reason why the schools don't pay to it as much attention as it deserves. This thesis describes the ways of implementation of the Global Development Education into the Czech education system and into the teaching in the Czech schools. This work is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and it tries to briefly outline the theoretical background, beginnings of the Global Development Education in the Czech surroundings, curriculum and strategic documents that deals with the issue of the Global Development Education. In the first part there are also mentioned the possibilities how to integrate this topic into the school education programs and into the teaching as well. Social Preparedness for Kindergarten

This bachelor thesis surveys the field of social preparedness for kindergarten from the perspective of developmental psychology and the influences of the modern world in which preschool children grow up and which affect them. The thesis is partitioned into the theoretical and practical research parts. The second chapter of the theoretical part describes the preschool facilities and care possibilities for preschool children in the Czech republic with emphasis on common kindergartens. The third chapter is focused on a preschool child from the perspective of developmental psychology and environmental influences. The fourth charter introduces the term social preparedness for kindergarten. It also explains the concept of adaptation period. Its evaluation and results are used in the practical part as potential criteria for determining the social preparedness for the kindergarten. The first section of the research part is dedicated to the survey on social preparedness and how it is percieved by parents and teachers. The second section captures the observation conducted on a sample of 15 children during the adaptation period. The conclusion summarizes the results of the research. .
Development of Creativity of Pupils in Educational Process

The Bachelor graduation work deals with possibilities for the development of creativity of pupils in educational process within preliminary and primary education. It is split into two sections: the theoretical part and the empirical one. The theoretical part deals mainly with the explanation of terminology, phenomena, and also hit her to performed empirical research and studies focusing on the area of the substantial matters and prerequisites for general development of creativity with people as well as the creativity development within the educational processes. The empirical part includes mainly my own qualitative research using semi-structured interviews with teachers, and also my open participating survey within the educational processes at schools. E-learning possibilities in education taking into account psychological aspects of creative learning

This diploma thesis is trying to critically look at education via e-learning, with the main topic being the possibilities which (with elaborated learning strategy) this form of education is able to offer. E-learning, in this work, is set into a society-wide context of education in the 21st century with regards to demographic development of the Czech population. Apart from the introduction and description of the main parts of e-learning courses, the thesis focuses on the creation process of these courses as such. Company/corporate experience, which is particularly beneficial here, is being widely used throughout this thesis. We consider it very important to theoretically elaborate on the term of 'creative learning' and show its contribution to the description of possibilities of e-learning in education. Afterwards, in the practical part, we focus on researching e-learning in chosen companies; in which we are trying to outline which way and how effectively e-learning is being used at chosen institutions. eTwinning as a form of teaching classes from Pedagogy branch at secondary schools

The diploma thesis is focused on the project-based learning. Specifically, it deals with the possibility to utilize the project-based learning within eTwinning for teaching students of educational fields at high school. The goal of the work was a theoretical analysis of the problem as well as a prototype of a project which focuses on pre-school and extra curricular education. The methodology used in this work is based on the participatory-action research. First, a form-based survey was conducted to find out conditions and suggestions about the structure of a project within eTwining. The survey respondents were teachers of pedagogy and educational fields. Next, the researcher, author of the thesis, prototyped a project that was consequently reviewed by three teachers out of the survey respondents. Also, these teachers were interviewed for their opinions about the project prototype as well as about utilizing the project-based learning within eTwinning when teaching students of pedagody and its fields at high schools. The result of the research showed that high schools teaching fields of pedagody would have only minor issues with the project-based learning within eTwinning. Mapping approaches of youth drop-in centres and outreach social services to xenophobia and racism among adolescents

The thesis concentrates on Approaches of youth drop-in centers and outreach services towards xenophobia and racism among teenagers. It deals with topics, such as xenophobia, racism, situation of Czech society concerning these two issues and the legal view point towards it. It describes the period of growing up, what features and reasons of xenophobia and racism appear among the teenage group. It characterizes a growing up person as a user of social services. The thesis describes inspirational approaches of multicultural education heading towards development of tolerance, possibilities of education and approaches to xenophobia and racism of various organizations. Further on, it gives a number of examples of experiences from several other European countries. It introduces social services of youth drop-in centers and outreach services. It mainly deals with approaches of both services towards working with teenage clients who show signs of xenophobia and racism. The practical part of the thesis discovers approaches of social workers of various youth drop-in centers and outreach services in the Czech Republic towards xenophobia and racism among teenager clients.
