Margaret Thatcher's foreign policy in domestic and foreign press between 1979 and 1990

This master's thesis will focus on Margaret Thatcher's foreign policy, starting with her appointment as Prime minister of Great Britain in 1979 and ending with her resignation in 1990. Next it will reflect on the social and political situation in Europe during her reign. The key element of this paper will be the analysis of domestic and foreign press, both democratic and communist, in which the student will target the Falkland war, policy towards European Economic Community, the North Ireland conflict solution, attitude towards African continent and the Soviet Union, the Persian Gulf war and also special relationship between the Great Britain and United States of America. The goal of the student's research shall be a complex overview of the press in the period in question, put into the context of foreign policy of the first woman in charge of Great Britain.

Methodological materials for indoor cycling - artistic cycling Objective: To prepare a new comprehensive study methodical material for aspiring coaches, complemented by modern knowledge in the field of indoor cycling and sport in general. Method: Distribution krasojezdeckých exercises into 5 basic methodological groups. supplementing methods and measures that lead to better and faster learning techniques krasojezdeckých elements. Creating instructions on versatile training without wheels and processing motoric - functional preparation krasojezdců. Results: my job, I worked only in theory, practical research and verification of their knowledge of teaching techniques I krasojezdeckých exercises carried out. The literature shows test large-scale set of people, more than 200 (Měkota, 1983), which in the conditions of Czech Artistic cycling is a requirement impracticable. The results of physical condition circus riders They showed that it is necessary to focus on physical fitness training and all-round preparation without wheels I describe them. Funding humanitarian non-profit organizations with a focus on People in Need

The main purpose of this thesis is to describe function of non-profit organizations, answer a question if these organizations are sufficiently financed and what is their place in society when there is no help from a state. In this text I will write about humanitarian non-governmental non- profit organizations and their unquestionable place in society. The goal of this text is to answer question on their fundraising, who supports them, how are the resources used and in general if the resources are spent efficiently. I will focus on non-profit organization People in need, its financing and relationship to the civil sector. The reason why I have chosen this topic is my interest in non-profit organization and humanitarian organizations in general - the criticism and skepticism towards these organizations was one of the reasons why I have decided to research about non-profit organizations. With regard to the length of work I will also briefly describe progression of People in need since its foundation and its fundraising by the Czech Republic.

The development of public policies in relation to single mothers from 1989 to 2015 in the Czech Republic

This paper is focused on the development of public policy in relation to single mothers from 1989 to 2015. Specifically, it focuses on the legislative documents, which are related directly to single mothers, which legislative documents are affecting them, how they deal with their situation and what benefits they bring to them. The paper also describes the evolution of these documents over time, specifically from 1989 to 2015. It concerns also the legislation which was accepted or cancelled and the whole background of these documents origin. The core of the empirical part is analysis of legislative documents affecting single mothers and their families and analysis of stenographic records of Parliament's meetings. The outlined development is explained in the context of theory of social constructions of target populations, depoliticization theory and path dependence theory. The aim of this paper is to find out how the situation of single mothers has developed since 1989 and whether it is improving or getting worse. The assumption is there has been a transformation since 1989, from socialist greater protection on the labor market and greater social support to extinction of single mothers as a specific target group of social policy.
The Falklands War and Its Impact on Margaret Thatcher's Victory in the General Elections of 1983

The Falklands War and Its Impact on Margaret Thatcher's Victory in the General Elections of 1983 The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the impact of Falklands War on British political scene and particularly its influence on the victory of Conservative Party in the General elections in 1983. The author takes into account the geographical position and importance of Falkland Islands at the beginning of the thesis, for understanding of situation of both interested countries (Argentina and Great Britain). Further on, the author outlines the historical context of the quarrel for the Falkland Islands and the progress of relations between Argentina and Great Britain. Then she analyses the political situation in Great Britain during the first Thatcher's government, including economic situation in the country. In the next chapter the author analyses the war and its consequences. The last chapter, which is crucial for this thesis, is the analysis of the General election in Great Britain in 1983 with the special regard to the impact of the victorious war mentioned above (so called "Falkland Factor"). The public administration reform: analysis of Smart Administration

This diploma thesis is mainly to explain the significance of the document Efektivní veřejná správa a přátelské služby: Strategie realizace Smart Administration 2007 - 2015 2015 (Efficient public administration and friendly service: Smart Administration Strategy 2007 - 2015) in the context of the reform process of public administration in the Czech republic. The author′s point of view is based of the theory of change, strategic managment and modern managment methods in public administration. Author focused on way of understanding the role and the context of the implementation of this document in public administration. Aim of this thesis is a decription and explanation of changes and their comparison with the primary Strategy′s goals. Another goals of this thesis is to understand the context of the implementation of the Strategy Smart Administration with regard to the major actors and events that could affect implementation. These methods are supplemented by findings that were obtained through interviews with experts in public administration area. The results of these analyses show that the goals of Strategy Smart Administration have not been fulfilled and this document presented an umbrella body for SMART methods in public administration. Community property of spouses - termination and settlement comparison of the German legislation

The thesis provides a comprehensive treatise on the institute of community property of spouses under current law, with an emphasis on its termination and settlement. The thesis analyzes particularly the ways of termination of the community property of spouses, which can occur with the dissolution of marriage or within its duration. It examines the subject of the settlement, the principles and methods of the settlement and also deals with selected specific situations in case of the settlement of defunct community property of spouses. The thesis also deals with the institute of the community property of spouses according to the new legal framework effective from 1 January 2014, when it highlights the fundamental changes. And last but not least, the thesis compares Czech regulation of the community property of spouses and German regulation of the matrimonial property law.
