Expropriation of land and structures
Tématu a...

Some take into account the motivation level of other physical damage or method of execution. The autodestruktivitu can also be seen positions from different disciplines. Not only psychiatry, but also philosophy, sociology and especially psychology provides us with tools for deeper understanding.
Participants in misdemeanor proceedings and their rights in application practice
Šimon, Josef ; Prášková, Helena (advisor) ; Petrmichl, Václav (referee)
Participants in misdemeanor proceedings and their rights in application practice Abstract Misdemeanor proceedings are an administrative procedure of public authorities (administrative bodies). Through which, part of the criminal policy of states is implemented. Its main task is to hold the perpetrator liable for their wrongdoing and to protect society from less serious acts - misdemeanors. In essence, it is similar to criminal proceedings, whose objective differs only in that it protects society from more serious acts. It follows from this definition, that the misdemeanor proceedings should not differ significantly from the procedural guarantees observed in criminal proceedings. Procedural guarantees of criminal proceedings are provided through the rights of accused persons. The subject of this paper is the analysis of procedural rights, especially of those accused of a misdemeanor, but also other participants in the proceedings on the misdemeanor. Emphasis is placed on the content of these rights and the possibility of exercising them towards administrative authorities. To this end, the thesis examines the decision-making practice of supreme courts (European Court of Human Rights, Constitutional Court, Supreme Administrative Court), as well as administrative bodies in the field of administrative criminal...
Depression and Insulin Resistance
Hess, Zdeněk ; Rosolová, Hana (advisor) ; Šimon, Jaroslav (referee) ; Souček, Miroslav (referee) ; Beran, Jiří (referee)
Introduction: Metabolic syndrome and depression are considered to be important risk factors for the development of cardiovascular diseases. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome is estimated to be around 25% of the adult population in industrialized countries, including the population of Czech Republic. The prevalence of depression is estimated to be around 15% of the same adult population. It is not clear yet on the base of poor literature, which is so far available, whether there is a causal relationship between these factors or not. Objective: To try to find a relationship between metabolic syndrome and depression in a population sample using clinical and metabolic parameters. Methods: The prevalence of depressivity or other psychopathologies was evaluated with the use of self-report questionnaires in a randomly selected population sample of 259 people living in Pilsen. The questionnaires were mailed to the subjects. Those of them who responded were invited to the examination of anthropometric and laboratory parameters defining the metabolic syndrome and to the examination of some other parameters. The occurrence of risk factors of the metabolic syndrome of insulin resistance and the relationship between depression and metabolic syndrome was investigated. Metabolic syndrome of insulin resistance...
Risk factors for atherosclerosis and its potential pharmacological effects in patients with coronary artery disease and lower limb
Hromádka, Milan ; Filipovský, Jan (advisor) ; Piťha, Jan (referee) ; Šimon, Jaroslav (referee)
1 Statin therapy in patients with peripheral artery obstructive disease (PAOD) 1.1 Patients with lipid metabolism disorders Simvastatin therapy with the dose titration adjusted to the effect led to the prolongation of claudication interval and to the elevation of ankle-brachial pressure index, which was statistically significant at the interval of 18 months after starting the therapy. At the same time we observed normalization of lipid levels and the lowest levels of oxidative stress markers. Statin use was also associated with lowering homocysteine level. 1.2 Patients without lipid metabolism disorders - the influence on laboratory parameters and functional capacity In patients without lipid metabolism disorder, treated with simvastatin 20 mg daily, we noted an improvement, i.e. prolongation of claudication interval and elevation of ankle-brachial pressure index, while in the control group treated only with a diet we observed further deterioration of capacity. In the control group, the parameters of lipid metabolism were statistically significantly worse after six months and this trend remained even in further control visits with HDL cholesterol slightly lowering. In the simvastatin group, a statistically significant decrease of LDL occurred during several months as well as elevation of HDL...
Evolution of histeroid beetles (Coleoptera: Histeroidea): phylogenetics, fossil record and life histories
Simon Pražák, Jan ; Fikáček, Martin (advisor) ; Lackner, Tomáš (referee)
Histeroid beetles (Coleoptera: Staphyliformia: Histeroidea) represent an important lineage of beetles, known for a rich diversity of body forms and inhabited environments. In this thesis, I summarize available information about their position in the beetle tree of life and the available information about their ecology and biology. I specifically address current ideas about the evolution of the four histeroid families (Histeridae, Cretohisteridae, Synteliidae and Sphaeritidae) and the internal phylogeny of the Histeridae. To understand the available data about the past diversity of the group, I provide a summary of all described fossil species. The group has undergone numerous habitat shifts, often connected with apparent morphological and behavioural adaptations, some of which likely increased the diversification rate of respective lineages. This thesis aims to connect the available phylogenetic, fossil and ecological data to provide a summary of the evolutionary history of the lineage.
Design of Bridge on the road I/58
Odvárka, Miroslav ; Šimon, Jan (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of the bridge o the road I/58 over a watercourse and dirt road. The main content is the design and calculation of a continuous bridge structure with two bays. During designing the bridge, I based on Czech and European standards especially ČSN EN 1991 and ČSN EN 1992. A two-beam structure was selected from the developed three variants of bridging. Drawing documentation, construction procedure, visualization and static calculation were prepared for it. The result is an economical bridge structure with high durability and almost maintenance-free operation.

The optimization of forest management strategies on slopes affected by landslides and rock falling – a methodology for forest-planting practices
Bajer, A. ; Balková, M. ; Buček, A. ; Divíšek, Jan ; Friedl, M. ; Halas, Petr ; Kirchner, Karel ; Kuda, František ; Lacina, Jan ; Martiník, A. ; Roštínský, Pavel ; Simon, J. ; Vavříček, D.
Landslides, as well as rock falling, are among natural disturbances, the origin of which the forest management has only a secondary influence. On the other hand, adequate management can reduce the risk of landslides (rock falling). In some specific cases, it can be expected that this management can also prevent origin of landslides. The basic recommendation in the area of forest cultivation in areas affected by landslides is the creation of forest stands of species, age and thickness (height) differentiated, with a small-scale texture. In some cases it is also possible to recommend the shape of the associated forest. Consistent management of the forest transport network must be an integral part of measures in risk areas.
Performer & Law
Langerová, Lucie ; KASÍK, Martin (advisor) ; SIMON, Jan (referee)
This bachelor’s thesis “Performer and Law” should serve as a legal guide for all the performers who get in touch with law in many different situations, often while even not knowing it. Individual sections deal with topics such as copyright law – authors’ rights and related rights, tax law and social security law. Step by step the text describes the situations that performer could be involved in due to his or her activity, all the rights and duties steaming from these situations and procedure to exercise those rights or performs those duties. The author’s aim is to familiarize people, who haven’t ever handled with law, with this huge phenomenon. Therefore, there is a comprehensible language used in this thesis, instead of that used in professional legal literature.
