Work Enviroment and Wellbeing of Employee

The thesis focuses on the topics of personal well-being of employees, work environment and leadership coaching. The aim of the thesis is to describe the topic of personal well-being in the context of the work environment and to evaluate the impact of individual leadership coaching on leadership style and personal well-being in the work environment. The thesis consists of five main chapters. In the first three chapters, a literature review is presented. The concept of personal well-being is introduced and the main theories and models devoted to the issue of personal well-being are presented. Options for influencing personal well-being in the work environment are described, highlighting the influence of coaching as a factor to enhance personal well-being in the work environment. In the fourth chapter of the thesis, a proposal is made for conducting research to examine the influence of individual leadership on perceptions of personal well-being and leadership style in relation to the work environment. The thesis deals with the topic of personal well-being of employees and the working environment. It will introduce the concept of well-being and the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model, describe the issue of job demands and job resources and, in connection with, also analyze the theory of conservation of resources. It will also focus on burnout and stress, which is the basic theme of JD-R model. It will also present factors of the work environment and theories of job satisfaction. The end of the theoretical part will be concluded with a chapter on coaching and its use in the workplace. The practical part then focuses on the influence of coaching on the well-being of managers and will use the six-factor model of psychological well-being for evaluation. Burnout Syndrome in University Teachers - International Comparative Study

This thesis is concerned with the phenomenon of burnout in university teachers, who have been previously rather neglected in connection with this topic. The theoretical part provides an analysis of current knowledge regarding the development of the concept of burnout from the very early interest in this issue in the 1970s to the present, with emphasis being placed on the teaching profession, especially in the tertiary education sector. In the empirical part of the research, the assumption of different levels of burnout in university teachers in the former Eastern Bloc and Western European country was tested. This international study compares the burnout level in teachers from the philosophy faculties of Czech Charles University and German Universität Regensburg. In order to achieve a more holistic view of this topic, the levels of life engagement and depression have been studied as well. The data were collected with the help of Copenhagen Burnout Inventory, Life Engagement Test, Beck Depression Inventory and a sociodemographic questionnaire. Use of psychedelic substances and well-being

The main goal of this Bachelor's thesis is to map the context of psychedelic substance use and well-being. The theoretical part defines the concept of well-being including its basic predictors. It also defines classical psychedelics, presents the history and the present of psychedelic research, and describes the mechanism of the effect of these substances on humans including the risks associated with their use. The main part of this work summarizes the existing studies focused on examining the relationship between psychedelic substances and well-being, both in clinical studies on patients and healthy volunteers, and in observational studies dealing with the use of psychedelics in an uncontrolled environment. The empirical part contains a research proposal, which aims to compare the average values of well-being of users of these substances and non-users and to find out how users themselves evaluate psychedelic experience in relation to well-being and how important the safety of using these substances is for them. Perception and experience of fairness in the process of buying and paying

This thesis deals with issues of perception and experience of fairness in context of buying and paying. It focuses initially on the general definition and there is stated general theoretical basis. Considerable part of thesis deals with factors, which influence perception and experience of (un)fairness and these factors are divided into four groups. In the next part it deals with consequences of perceived and experienced unfairness and provides overview of coping strategies, which the individual uses to restore the inner balance. The last chapter focuses on the prevention of perception and experience of unfairness. The empirical part proposes a research design - an experiment, whose aim is to find out, if there is any impact on perception of fairness of provided price information and price itself. The experiment is supplemented by two questionnaries, whose aim is to discover potential personal characteristics related with forming of judgement of fairness. Psychological aspects of fashion

The work introduces the summary of knowledge about fashion and its context with psychic processes. The available resources provides an overview study of the issue and presents current research on the importance of fashion in daily life.The first part focuses on theoretical knowledge about the function of clothing and its ability to express social belonging and emotions. It respresents clothing as a mean of communication with the environment too. Another part of the work describes how fashion and garments are related to psychic constituent of personality, especially the self-concept and self-representation. It also narrates the significance of clothing in the process of formation of personality, self-confidence and identity. The work includes a brief view of other areas that are significant to psychological aspects of fashion for human. In conclusion, there is a proposed research project that examines the link between personality type and style of dressing using the MBTI questionnaire.
