Urban Mass Transportation in Olomouc in context of IDSOK

The thesis deals with problem of urban mass transportation. Theoretical part is focused on mass transportation. The thesis contains delimination of area - Olomoucky Region - and its mass transportation - integrated transport system "IDSOK". The main part of the thesis deals with Urban Mass Transportation in Olomouc. There are analyzed selected problems of urban mass transportation as comfort, adherence to time tables, new tram traces routing - operating expenses of trams and buses - and communication with passengers.

Analysis of contribution of Plzeňský Prazdroj attractions to the development of tourism in three regions in the Czech republic

Theoretical part defines tourism generally, it describes basic terms and it characterizes destination marketing. Third part is about beer tourism. Following chapter introduces company Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. and it mentiones corporate mergers of breweries in Pilsen, Velké Popovice and Nošovice. It recounts tours in these three breweries. Situation analysis is divided into two parts. Analysis of external environment includes PEST analysis, competiton analysis, analysis of cooperating subjects and customer analysis. Analysis of internal environment involves analysis of strengths and weaknesses of visitor tours in three breweries. Six chapter is about questionnaire and evaluating results from it. Last chapter judges what is the influence of visitor tours on development of tourism in three regions in Czech republic. It contains some suggestions how to improve visit rates in the breweries.

Economic analysis and comparison of two municipalities, which are different in size.

This thesis deals with economic analysis and comparison of two different size municipalities in years 2002-2008. Specifically, two municipalities from South Bohemia Region - Strakonice (23 000 inhabitants) and Katovice (1 300 inhabitants). The first part of my thesis is theoretical. I describe the legislative of municipalities in Czech Republic there, also their jurisdiction and budgets (categories of revenues and expenditures). The second part is more extensive and there is a description of the practice. I analyze and compare different categories of revenues and expenditures. I use here materials from the both previously mentioned municipalities. This part is accompanied by tables and graphs.

FAmily house in Plumlov

It is a new family house. The house is situated in the Olomouc region in the town called Plumlov, cadastral area Plumlov. The building consists of the three floors. Two of them are aboveground and one is underground. In the first floor is a garage for one car. The family house is covered with wooden saddle shape trusses. The building is designed from the structural systém Heluz and contact insulation ETICS.

Strategická analýza podniku

The topic of this diploma thesis is the strategic analysis of an organization. The strategic analysis is specifically applied to an allowance organization Správa a údržba silnic Jihomoravského kraje, příspěvková organizace. Objective contents of the thesis are divided into an analytical part and a strategic part in relation to the short history of the organisation and its current state described in respect of the organisation's substance, structure and processes. In the first chapter of the diploma thesis the organisation's history and consequently its current state are briefly outlined. In the second chapter the organisation's external and internal strategic analyses are carried out aiming at the evaluation of the initial organisation's strategic position. In connection to this analytical part, the third chapter concentrates on the formulation of the organisation's strategy and on the definition of its specific strategic objectives. With the gradual implementation of these objectives, the target strategic positioning of the organisation should be achieved. The final part of the diploma thesis summarizes the most important findings that can fundamentally influence the organisation's successful development in view of its long-term perspective.

Bus transportation in Prague and outskirts

The diploma thesis deals with the bus transportation in Prague and surrounding areas in the Central Region. It compares the Prague integrated transport system and Central integrated transport system. It deals with the question whether the use of two unrelated integrated transport systems is efficient on the same route and whether bus transportation is operated efficiently in selected region Praha - Neratovice. The survey of utilization is accompanied by information about carriers that perform bus transport in selected region, and information about their fleet. The aim of the thesis is assesing current situation, pointing out the differences between integrated transport systems and designing alternative solution.

Fire station

The subject of this thesis is to create a project documentation of the design of new construction of fire station in Šumperk. The fire station is designed according to ČSN 73 5710 as a C type station that will be used by professional fire brigade of Olomouc district. The object is structurally divided into two parts - a masonry building, and a reinforced concrete frame. The administrative part of the building together with the base of the fire brigade, technical room, and a fire tower are designed as a masonry building made of Ytong cellular concrete units. One of the parts is designed as a two-level object, while the technical room and the fire tower are designed as a sigle-level object. The circumferential masonry is insulated by contact thermal insulation system. The floor construction is made of Spiroll prestressed floor slabs. The roof is designed as a warm flat roof. The garage is a single-level building with built-in structure of storerooms in part of the garage. The precast reinforced concrete frame is set on foundation pads and foundation sills. The horizontal and vertical supporting structure consists of reinforced concrete parts – columns, Spiroll floor slabs, floor girders, sway frames, purlins and small purlins. The whole object is covered by a warm flat roof. The external cladding consists of PUR isolating sanwich panels.

Use of the register of municipalities for investment purposes

This thesis focuses on the analysis and the use of the register of voluntary associations of municipalities. The theoretical part of the work is focused on defining the cooperation of municipalities, namely voluntary associations of municipalities, and funding op-portunities for public investment. The practical part deals with the analysis of public associations of municipalities of the South Moravian region, which was part of a specific research. They are then matched funding options selected project independent community through the voluntary association of municipalities.

The budgetary allocation of taxes to municipalities

The main target of this dissertation is to analyse the impact of legislative changes to the budgetary allocation of taxes to municipalities in last years with a focus on the reform of January 2013 for different types of municipalities according to their population. One of this thesis objectives is also to suggest recommendations for the future budgetary allocation of taxes on the basis of this analysis. Theoretical part defines basic concepts in the area of municipalities income and looks into the theory of fiscal federalism.The second chapter of the theoretical part concerns itself with the detailed analysis of the development of the budgetary allocation of taxes until 2013. The practical part is constituted by the prediction of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and is followed by an analysis of shared taxes in selected municipalities of South Bohemian Region and their development. On the basis of this analysis, the impacts in selected municipalities are analysed and possible recommendations are specified for the future development of the budgetary allocation of taxes.
