Práce pojednává o městské hromadné dopravě v Olomouci. Teoretická část práce se zabývá osobní dopravou. Následuje popis území - Olomouckého kraje - včetně jeho dopravní infrastruktury a integrovaného dopravního systému IDSOK. Hlavní část práce se věnuje MHD v Olomouci, kde jsou řešeny vybrané problémy - jako komfort cestujících, dodržování jízdních řádů, celková komunikace s cestujícím a trasování linek - konkrétně zavedení tramvajové dopravy do jižních sídlišť a určení provozních nákladů autobusové a tramvajové dopravy na zajištění přepravy z jižních sídlišť Povel a Nové Sady do centra města. The thesis deals with problem of urban mass transportation. Theoretical part is focused on mass transportation. The thesis contains delimination of area - Olomoucky Region - and its mass transportation - integrated transport system "IDSOK". The main part of the thesis deals with Urban Mass Transportation in Olomouc. There are analyzed selected problems of urban mass transportation as comfort, adherence to time tables, new tram traces routing - operating expenses of trams and buses - and communication with passengers.
