Class teacher and the selection of teachers at this position in the primary school

This thesis presents criteria in selecting an appropriate candidate for position of a class teacher at basic school, basing on performed analysis of different information sources. There's examined knowledge of a school class, potential of class teacher's operational and organizational meetings with his class, leading of parent's evenings and mission of a class teacher at recent basic school. Within school management it offers a detailed professiography of work of a class teacher determined with its legal definition, available professional literature and first of all with analysis of information acquired in interviews with five persons personally involved in these issues - school director, school psychologist, long experienced class teacher, mother of a ninth class student and a student of a ninth class at basic school. The class teacher's work is explored either from viewpoint of conditions for his work as also from viewpoint of his professional and personal competences. These criteria of selecting an appropriate candidate may further be used in common practice of a basic school director within making his decision on right person for this responsible task.
Delegation of activities at secondary school central management

anglicky This bachelor thesis -"Delegationof Activitiesat Secondary School Central Management" - deals with school management and its aspects, that are connected with the proces of delegation of competencies as seen from the position of the Secondary school headmaster. Generally, the management is divided into three levels, but in this thesis the main attention is paid to the central management. This thesis focuses on the status, role, competencies and activities of the central management. It also describes the personality of the executive and his influence on central management in the proces of delegation of competencies. Whereas the headmasters today are overburdened with lots of administrative and legislative activities, this thesis tries to provide the instructions how to exploit the potential of the co-workers, who are part of the central management. The research is based on the personal discussions with the teaching staff of the secondary schools. This work may be used as a guideline in the proces of delegation at schools. School Climate

The central point of this thesis is the matter of school climate. The text seeks to cover the important features of this phenomenon and to set its theoretical framework. The thesis itself consists of two main parts: theory and research. To understand school climate we cover the terminology in the first chapter of the theoretical part. The second chapter goes into deeper details of school climate such as its structure and effects. In the third chapter, we take a closer look at salient features and factors impacting school climate. Of these features, students and teachers are the most important elements contributing to the school climate and as such are covered most extensively. The last chapter discusses various criterions to assess the pattern of the school climate. The research section is centered around an opinion survey focused on school climate perception from the standpoint of students, teachers, and parents conducted in smaller city high schools. Next to the description of climates observed, the research also compares the key indicators as well as the views of the survey participants.
Cloud computing perspectives in the field of secondary grammar schools management

Educational Needs of Managers of Kindergartens in the Central Bohemian Region

4 ABSTRACT: The bachelor thesis deals with identifying educational needs of managers of kindergartens in Central Bohemian Region and educational opportunities in Central Bohemia and Prague. The aim of this research was to find those needs, monitor managers' level of satisfaction with current educational opportunities in the region. It also searched for a dependence of the priorities of the educational needs on the amount of years spent in the leading position. The scientific literature is presented in the theoretical part of this work. It also provides an overview of the current status of pre-school education and legal requirements for the job. The key point of the research is based on a survey among managers of kindergartens of the Central Bohemian Region and its subsequent analysis. The survey results lead to the creation of a plastic view at the educational opportunities for the managers in the context with their educational needs. The final part of this work presents the results of investigations to confirm managers' interest in further education. Furthermore, it shows their satisfaction with educational options in the context of their needs and the results of the investigation that do not confirm the dependence of the selection of educational areas on the number of years spent in a leading position....
Selection criteria Deputy Director

This bachelor's thesis studies criteria of the choice of the school's headmaster's closest colleague, or more specifically, a deputy headmaster in a kindergarten and the primary schools in Benešov. It investigates the criteria used by the headmasters, and whether personal, or rather professional qualities are preferred in the selection. A qualitative research conducted in form of a case study shows that the addressed respondents had certain criteria they used to choose a competent and experienced co-worker on the position of deputy headmaster because good decision in this matter is very important for them. Materials obtained during the interviews showed how big the responsibility of the deputy is, how much work they need to do and how important for the headmaster they are. It is based on the legal requirements for the performance of the headmaster and his managerial role required for the management of the school, which he has to manage. It describes an initial period of headmaster's dutin and it solves an subsequent phases of business. It highlights the influence of the length of time in managing activities in shaping the attitudes and improving the quality of school management. It describes the facts that brings the ever-changing conditions in the educational legislativ for the exercise of the headmaster, which significantly affect its access to the profession and life perspective.
Accountability of Public and Private Elementary School

The bachelor's thesis deals with the school accountability. It explores accountability as a phenomenon that exists but it is not explicitly expressed and systematically integrated into the process of managerial control in Czech school. The work summarizes the gained knowledge and approaches to accountability in Czech and foreign environment and their links with the school management in general. The aim of qualitative research is to contribute to the expansion of scientific knowledge in this area. There are identified external subjects of public and private schools in the case study, their main interests which are subsequently compared. The work is intended for school directors; bringing a more detailed view on demands of external subjects, both public and private schools, offering specific procedures and recommendations to school management, which can be considered as an accountable proceeding to external subjects. Hidden curriculum and the possibility to influence it from different levels of the organizational structure

In the theoretical part of this thesis research concepts curriculum and hidden curriculum. The following is a list of managerial functions that influence hidden curriculum music school. The following contains areas for specific training in music schools. In the empirical part is based on data found in the research questionnaire survey and the data obtained in the interviews that were conducted on a random sample of respondents from among the directors, representatives, department heads and teachers of music schools. The aim of the research is to compare whether and to what extent the respondents were involved in activities that may affect the hidden curriculum in the music school. Activities affecting the hidden curriculum of various organizational positions were determined on the basis of interviews with respondents in the pilot study. The work provides an interpretation of the curriculum and the hidden curriculum. Searches concepts was based on the use of our and foreign literature. Following are sorted managerial activities related to the management of the curriculum in music schools.
