Tato práce představuje kritéria výběru vhodného kandidáta na pozici třídního učitele základní školy, na podkladě provedené analýzy různých zdrojů informací. Rozebírá poznatky o školní třídě, možných třídnických hodinách, vedení třídních schůzek a poslání třídního učitele v současné základní škole. V rámci školského managementu nabízí podrobný profesiogram práce třídního učitele, stanovený na základě jeho legislativního vymezení, dostupné odborné literatury a především rozborem obsahu rozhovorů s pěti osobami, které mají k dané problematice co říci - ředitelkou školy, školním psychologem, dlouholetou třídní učitelkou, matkou žáka deváté třídy a se žákem posledního ročníku ZŠ. Práce třídního učitele na základní škole je nahlížena jednak z pohledu podmínek jeho činnosti a také z pohledu jeho odborných a lidských kompetencí. Tato kritéria výběru vhodného kandidáta mohou navíc posloužit i v běžné praxi ředitele základní školy při jeho rozhodování, komu svěřit tento zodpovědný úkol. This thesis presents criteria in selecting an appropriate candidate for position of a class teacher at basic school, basing on performed analysis of different information sources. There's examined knowledge of a school class, potential of class teacher's operational and organizational meetings with his class, leading of parent's evenings and mission of a class teacher at recent basic school. Within school management it offers a detailed professiography of work of a class teacher determined with its legal definition, available professional literature and first of all with analysis of information acquired in interviews with five persons personally involved in these issues - school director, school psychologist, long experienced class teacher, mother of a ninth class student and a student of a ninth class at basic school. The class teacher's work is explored either from viewpoint of conditions for his work as also from viewpoint of his professional and personal competences. These criteria of selecting an appropriate candidate may further be used in common practice of a basic school director within making his decision on right person for this responsible task.
