Pokuta, Jiří ; Čichoň, Rostislav (advisor) ; Potměšil, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Technique, didactics, and selected training methods in rowing of the disabled. The given thesis deals with the didactics, technique and training in rowing of the disabled. The aim of my thesis was to analyze expert literature from the area of rowing and sports for the disabled, then to find out and describe the appropriate training methods and teaching practices for the physically, visually and mentally disabled rowers and finally based on training, observation and interviews with the disabled athletes and the coaches to add the searched material with the practical experience. Results: Rowing of the disabled is a young sport which is at the beginning of its development. It was found out that the training methods for individual diagnosis of disability are not sufficiantly elaborated. The coaches who wish to devote to this sport have to learn from the experience of the trainers of healthy oarsmen. It is not sure how the rowing motion burdens the body of the disabled and what training dosage is optimal for the increasing of performance. Keywords: rowing, disability, sport training 3

Specifics of nutrition during preparation for 50km race walker
Schrom, Pavel ; Engelthalerová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Kašpar, Ladislav (referee)
This dissertation will give us insight into racewalking as a discipline, we will learn interesting facts from the history, then it will introduce us to its specifics and differences. Thereafter, the dissertation focuses on the structure of performance and training in racewalking. The main focus of my dissertation is the topic of nutrition, which is the key factor in the overall performance. It describes all the necessary components of a diet, which are very important in a well prepared pre-race training. The next fundamental theme is the replenishment of glycogen, which is needed for a proper work of muscles and to correctly utilize the supercompensation diet. Furthermore, the forms, rules and methods of being on a supercompensation diet will be shown on specific cases. Last, but not least, it will cover the importance of fluid intake for an athlete.
The analysis of skills young decathletes
Bernášek, Jiří ; Krátký, Petr (advisor) ; Vindušková, Jitka (referee)
Title (Theme): The analysis of skills young decathlonest Objectives: The goal of our thesis is to analyse a young decathlete's skills and based on comparative methods with standard professional athlete's technique in three different events to highlight possible technical differences and deficiencies. Method In our thesis we used methods such as analysis, watching and video analysis, based on video recording. These helped us to make a photo sequences. Photo sequences helped us to analyse and compare the athlete's technique in three chosen events, which were Hurdles run (one at a time), Pole Vault and Javelin Throw Results: Based on the results of our thesis we discovered noticeable deficiencies and defects in Jan Jansky's technique, which can be partially explained by his young age. Jan showed the best technique level in the Hurdle run, acceptable technique level in the Pole Vault and poor technique level in the Javelin Throw. Our assumption, based on Jan's very good results, that he will show the best technique in Pole Vault, was wrong. Key words: Decathlon, training, sport training, event, discipline, technique
Influence of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Approach on Maximum Kayak Paddling Power
Davídek, Pavel ; Kobesová, Alena (advisor) ; Kolář, Pavel (referee) ; Matoulek, Martin (referee)
INTRODUCTION: The aim of this thesis is to identify the effect of trunk stabilization training based on Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) on maximum kayak ergometer power output and reported self-disability in the shoulder girdle area. METHOD: Thirty flatwater kayakers of both genders (17 - 25 years old) were randomly divided into two groups. Crossover design was used for this study. Subjects in the experimental group (group A) integrated DNS exercises into standard flatwater training during the first phase. The control group (group B) conducted only common flat water training at the same time. After 6 weeks, the groups were switched. Then group B underwent the same DNS exercise with the same intensity and the same time. The intervention was the same for both phases and took 6 weeks. Group A performed only standard off-season training during the second phase. The maximum power output on kayak ergometer was measured three times (before study, after 6 weeks and after 12 weeks). Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH) were analyzed at the same time. RESULTS: Initially, no significant differences in maximum power output on kayak ergometer and the DASH questionnaire score were identified between the groups. During the first phase the experimental group (group A) improved the maximum...
Assumptions of a successful participation in regional youth floorball representation for club level players in the center of the Czechia region

The relationship between selected conditional abilities and performance in white water slalom (category C1).
Busta, Jan ; Suchý, Jiří (advisor) ; Lehnert, Michal (referee) ; Bielik, Viktor (referee)
The aim of the study was to identify the relationship between selected fitness skills and the performance demonstrated in nomination races (NR) to the Czech Republic national team (NT) and for the Olympic Games. At the same time, we wanted to determine the optimal level of conditioning assumptions and define a model single-canoe sportsman. We were also searching to determine the differences between Senior NT and Junior NT. The research sample (n=17) of the Czech highest competitions series (Czech Cup) participated in testing to determine level of strength, endurance and partly speed assumptions. There were also measured anthropometric parameters (body dimensions and composition) in detail. Testing took place only 5 weeks before NR. The condition indicators were subsequently correlated with the NR performance. For indicators for which significant and at least moderate correlation were found, the possibility of performance prediction was also found. The highest correlations with performance were found in case of on-water sprints: 20m (rs=0,65), 40m (rs=0,86, resp. rs=0,62), 80m (rs=0,58) and 200m (rs=0,795). The on-water sprints are the only indicators, which could be possibly used for the NR performance prediction. In multiple regression of the 2 40m and 1 200m sprints was found high determination...
