Inner Space II (Mind in a Cave)

For my bachelor thesis became the basis archetipic area of the caves. The cradle and the grave, the first canvas, spiritual and cultural catalysator of the genus homo sapiens. Questions journey into the inner (lower) world of darkness. For my work Inner space II. I choose a small natural caves. The aim of their search and work with them is the authentication concepts and ideas related to the landscape and natural objects such as theme, which seemed to me difficult to grasp. In my work I want to connect two kinds of experiences of my life, wildlife and life in an urban environment. Contact thinking pertaining to the subject of art and thinking independent on the categories and topics of art.
Current situation of czech publishing in alternative and underground music

This thesis engages the question of whether it is even possible to popularize or proclaim alternative or underground project. For the analysis, I chose five publishers, Minority records , Starcastic , Polí5 , Citysurfer and Quazidelict . Originally I wanted to work also include publishing a happening agency AM180 together with their festival Creepy Teepee, but despite my repeated attempts I failed to contact its founders. After some research, I estabilished, that this community does not want to be externally presented and resists any publicity in the mainstream media. Thesis is elaborated in an unconventional way, due to the absolute lack of information about all of these publishing companies, both in printed and online media, I decided to use form of a personal interview. Therefore I would also like to apologize for slang expression used by persons involved in these interviews. It illustrates the world which is discussed. In order to confront ideas, for all the interviews I used the very similar set of questions, that were altered depending on the specialization of the publisher.
The Moscow metro, 1935-2011.

The goal of my thesis is to analyze the growth of Moscow metro since 1935 to the present. The analysis will be based on available and acceptable literature and sources within the building expansion of Moscow underground system in different periods of time. The thesis will be devoted to development and projects of metro expansion in relations to city growth. It will include the technical and contractual characteristics of stations and certain lines and railway carriages. A part of my thesis will be focused on the architecture of stations. One of the chapters in thesis will compare the oldest underground of soviet type in Moscow with London metro, which is the oldest metro in the world. Next part of my project will be concerned with economical and statistical indicators, analysis of financing issues of Moscow underground as for the soviet period and post collapse time as well.
"Growing up under control?" the leisure time of youth in the seventies of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia

The Diploma thesis deals with the leisure time of youth in the seventies of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia. It compares two forms of spending leisure time. Those are the official activities that were organized by the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia by the Socialist Union of Youth and unofficial alternatives that are ideologically opposed communism. The aim of this Diploma thesis is to contribute to the analysis of spare time of youth in the seventies of the 20th century. How did exactly the young generation of seventies in Czechoslovakia spend their free time and what opportunities did they really have. The conclusions of the thesis should then contribute to the development of further research in the area of free time of socialist society.
Underground music - subculture of young people in Prague in 1968 - 1989

The work deals with the mapping of underground cultural phenomenon in the Czechoslovak normalization environment. Especially arising subculture within the band The Plastic People of the Universe. Described is a brief history of the band, its sources of inspiration, lyrics and music. The next section focuses on the persecution of the regime and the subsequent wave of solidarity from the Czech intellectuals and dissidents, which substantially contributed to the formation of Charter 77.

The subject of my dissertation are the forgotten fates of several young people which were during the years of the Communist rule unafraid to stand against the pressures exerted by the regime. These people tend to be commonly called by the unifying term, namely the underground. In terms of history of the Czech Republic, the underground groupings that command the most interest, are those that existed in the Capital, Prague. There is not a widespread knowledge of the fact that in Southern Bohemia the political repression was oftentimes more brutal than in the above mentioned places.
The marketing mix of a drum and bass record label company

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to design the marketing mix of an alternative record label company that releases drum and bass music. In the theoretical part I try to describe the situation on the music market and outline how record labels work. I am specifying the tools of the marketing mix which are typical for a record label. In the practical part I'm pointing out the differences between the perception of mainstream and alternative music and I'm characterising the drum and bass scene.
