Nonverbal Communication in TV Broadcasting for Children and Young People

The bachelor's paper focuses on the chosen tools of non-verbal communication in Czech television programmes meant for children of different age. The paper's goal is to analyse the chosen non-verbal tools, to assess their form and function and to try to capture the differences between programmes meant for audiences of different age. Programmes Kouzelná školka and Planeta Yó made in production for the Czech TV and a programme Alliho parťáci by FTV Prima have been chosen for the purposes of this paper. Selected examples from the programmes were transcribed in accordance with the rules of the corpus DIALOG and transcripts of gestures were further added. The analysis is focused mainly on mimic and gesture expressions. The analysis results have shown that mimic and gesture expression adapt to the age of the child viewer.
Communication in the selected organisation

The Diploma thesis called Communication in the selected organisation is dealing with one of the key requirements for success of every company, and that is communication. The main objective of this work is to find out and characterize topic of communication in selected organisation. In case there are found any deficits, propose recommendations for this organisation. First, the theoretical basis is defined, that is gained mostly from reference books. It is based mostly on explanations of names connected with the word communication. Selected organisation is characterized in the practical part. Based on synthesis of basic knowledge from the first, theoretical part, is the main goal of the research to analyse communication within the organisation. At the end of this work present proposals that would lead to more effective communication and thus leading to increased work productivity and improvement of work environment based on findings from the questionnaires and interviews.
The role of communication in the knowledge management

The theoretical part of the dissertation thesis called "The Role of Communication in the Knowledge Management" strives to identify the relationship between communication and knowledge management and results in finding that communication plays a critical role both in implementation of knowledge management and in the phase when knowledge management is implemented. The communication can shape environment for knowledge management as well as can be a tool for knowledge sharing. The research was focused on the situation of implemented knowledge management where the role of communication interferes to both the environment and the knowledge sharing. The research is based on three case studies that describe knowledge communication and its context in three similar successful and recognized organizations. Facts identified in the case studies are analyzed and discussed with experts in the area of personnel management and internal communication. Findings from the empirical research create basis for the design part which is aimed at identifying the way how to leverage the role of communication in knowledge management and how to use it to positively contribute to knowledge management goals. It results in a proposed system of tools of internal communication that supports knowledge communication. The system prefers face-to-face communication but includes also other tools of internal communication. The system is put into a broader context which is built out of knowledge management strategy, organizational culture and internal communication. There are recommendations defined for each of the elements that should support the right function of the knowledge communication. Rules and guidance for the knowledge communication are part of the thesis as well. Everything is based on practice of the researched organizations, was discussed with selected experts and validated with representatives from one of the organizations. The validation ensures feedback indicating practical applicability of the proposed system and defined guidance.
The importance of manager´s communication

The Diploma thesis entitled The importance of manager´s communication to investigate problems in managerial communication. The thesis analyses levels of the effective communication in observed company and communication skills of managers. The work consists of two main parts. The first part summarizes the existing theoretical solutions based on thorough study of specialized literature dealing with this area. The basic concepts discussed are management, manager, managerial roles and functions, communication including its forms and communication skills of manager all of which are necessary to understand the context of the topic. The second, practical, part contains the characteristics of the selected company, including its internal means of communication. The level of communication skills of managers is determined through a questionnaire surveys. The results are summarized processed, analyzed and commented in tabular or graphical form. Based on the results of problematic areas are defined and the proposals are developed to improve the current managerial communications in order to increase its levels and to satisfy everybody in the company.
The Importance of Manager ´s Communication

The bachelor thesis is focused on the communication skills of a manager. This work is divided into two main parts. The first part is composed of theoretical background which is used to evaluate the current situation of the topic. Based on this knowledge the questions for the guided interview were formed. The second part (the own work) consists of manager´s answers noted during interviews done at five different organizations. The answers were analyzed and rated. The result of this research shows actual situation, how managers evaluate the communication and its importance for their job. What are their communication ways and what they find as important.
Body Language in Sculpture Creation

This bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between non-verbal communication (body language) and sculptural creation. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with body language in interpersonal communication and its application in the context of sculptural creation. In relation to that it also states the possibilities of sculpture expression, aspects and process of the sculptural creation, which together with nonverbal channels are subsequently discussed in the context of the analysis of sculptural creation by authors from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The practical part consists of a series of sketches, studies and figural compositional variants that apply the findings arising from the theoretical concept into practice.

Abstract The thesis deals with effective interpersonal communication and communication with customers, which is one of the most important parts of marketing. The thesis is divided into three main sections – theoretical, analytical and practical. The theoretical part describes external and internal communication in corporate management. The analytical section describes the company Videoklinik Ltd. from perspective of its activities and by means of analysis identifies weaknesses in communication. In the practical part elements of communication are drawn and recommended to streamline system of communication within and outside the company thus to secure not only prosperity of the company but mainly its maintenance on the market.
Suggestion of Manager´s Working Group Uniting Procedure

This thesis analyses problems related to the creation of the working team coupled with the process of it’s members‘ cohesion. The theoretical part of the work contains an introduction and explanation of basic concepts related to given issues. In particular, we look at the issue of the manager's personality, the theory of social Gross, work teams, styles of leadership and management teams. The last chapter contains general recommendations of basic skills in the approach of managers and management teams. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the investigation file, the analysis of the facto. The aim of the project is to design such a manager process strategy, which leads to team cohesion thereby increasing work efficiency.
