Relational and NoSQL database for collecting data from IoT devices

This bachelor work is focused on the analysis of the relational and NoSQL (Not only SQL) databases for collecting a huge amount of data from IoT (Internet of Things) device. Theoretical part contains an introduction to the problematic of the relational and NoSQL databases. The relational database describes fundamental principles, relational algebra, normal forms and so on. The non-relational database characterises the main properties and describes different types of typologies. It deals with the NoSQL documentation databases called Elasticsearch as well. Practical part contains a proposal and realization of the MySQL database, realization non-relational database Elasticsearch as well as JavaFx application for measurement of database parameters. Further contains results of the measurement of parameters and properties of databases.

Design and implementation of a modern web presentation

Bachelor thesis deals with the design and realization of modern web presentations for the BUT scientific group. The proposal deals with the analysis of available web presentations focusing on the solution of their advertising and the used technical means. On the basis of the acquired information, the work defines the parameters for the created web presentation. A thesis describes the technical implementation of the proposed parameters within the Nette framework. A thesis defines the implementation of two algorithms for automatic acquisition of external data.

Design of an Information System Part

This diploma thesis focuses on the design of an information system for planning and evidation of repairs for the company XY a.s. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part describes the theory of creation of the information systém. Next two parts are dealing with the analysis and description of the problem area and creation of diagrams, which shows the system functions. The final part is dedicated to user experience design and evaluation. This designed information systém will simplify and speeds up planning of repairs for production equipment and improve transparency of finished repairs documentation.

First part focuses to analysis of various Business Intelligence solution and choosing the best one regarding to functional, financial features and availability. Main part is aimed to preparation of data, designing data model, overview of used functions, metrics and creating of reporting application. In the end of thesis is assessment of the application and induction to real business conditions.

Design of E-Learning Application for the Course English for IT

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit program, který bude sloužit jako výukový doplněk pro kurz Angličtina pro Informační Technologie. Práce nejdříve zkoumá existující aplikace, které jsou vytvářenému programu podobné včetně prvků, které mohou být v programu využity. Následně se zaměřuje na návrh a implementaci aplikace spolu s představením použitých technologií. Práce dále zkoumá teorii výuky nové slovní zásoby, po které následuje rozbor jednotlivých cvičení, které jsou v programu použity pro zkoušení nabyté slovní zásoby. Závěrem je zpracován návod pro studenty i učitele, jehož cílem je pomoci s používáním programu. Výstupem práce je funkční aplikace pro studenty výše zmíněného kurzu k interaktivnímu studiu slovíček a přípravě na hodiny.

Data storage architecture for manufacturing processes

The aim of the thesis is to develop a concept of an information system for collecting and processing data from an industrial process, which will be a part of a complex monitoring system as a whole chain from the sensor to the information system. The thesis briefly describes decision making process of a HMI device selection – Weintek cMT-SVR-100 visualization server, which is able to transfer data acquired from PLC’s via Modbus TCP over Ethernet to a remote MySQL database in the internet. Its main properties and output data structure was described. The thesis presents data and process model of the database and a web application design as a user interface. The web app allows users to access the system via general web browser at any platform and/or device. The thesis also presents testing of the system and its results.

System for monitoring of devices connected to the computer network

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of the web application for monitoring of the network devices. The thesis describes the design and functionality of the web interface that is used for fast and simple monitoring of the connected devices in computer network. The work also addresses the security of the web interface and the design of database structures. Further, the work describes briefly the characteristics of SNMP protocol and other important tools for obtaining the monitored data. The API of the web application is described in detail, including hints for building stand alone applications based on it. Work also contains a brief user guide for end users.

Mobile Android sport application

The aim of this thesis is to design a mobile application for Android OS, which will be used to organize joint sports activities. Theoretical part of this document describes the Android operating system itself, creation and basic components of application and Firebase database system. Practical part of this thesis deals with designing the application itself, including used solutions and algorithms. Main focus of the design part was on functionality and intuitiveness and also on the use of the best practice programming techniques.
