Návrh, nasadenie a prevádzka systému digitalizačnej linky knižnice
Galanda, Jakub
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design, develop and put into operation a secure system for the digitization of documents for the staff of the Moravian Library in Brno. The design of the system will be based on a thorough analysis and will be handed over to the development team upon completion. After controlled development, the application will be containerized and then deployed. The result will be a new digitization line system that automates and simplifies the work of trained users.
Ohrozenie pracovných miest spojených s automatizáciou a súvisiacimi faktormi v kontexte EÚ
Rebrová, Dominika
Diploma thesis focuses on the impact of automation and related factors on jobs in the European Union, with a focus on the Czech and Slovak Republics. In the introduction of the thesis, important concepts related to automation and digitalization are discussed. At the same time, the first part of the thesis also includes the definition of the population groups most vulnerable to automation and digitalization. The next part of the thesis is devoted to quantitative and complementary qualitative research. The quantitative part deals with the public opinion of the population in relation to artificial intelligence and robots. The complementary qualitative part is devoted to a short interview with an HR manager from the automotive industry. The fourth chapter of the thesis describes suggestions for minimizing the risks associated with automation and digitalization in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Copingové stratégie pre zvládanie technostresu u zamestnancov vo vybraných organizáciách
Machová, Silvia
The diploma thesis deals with the impact of technostress (stress from technology) on employees. This paper aims to propose coping strategies for managing technostress among employees of two selected manufacturing companies. The strategic recommendations intend to help employees reduce technostress and increase work satisfaction and productivity. A combination of quantitative and qualitative research was applied in order to achieve this goal. A questionnaire was chosen as part of the quantitative research. As for the qualitative research, semi-structured interviews with company employees were used. The data from both research companies were processed and according to the results, the main goal of this re-search was achieved.
Využití laserového skenování k dokumentaci současného stavu dřevěné zvonice
Němec, František
This bachelor thesis deals with the use of laser scanning technology to document historical buildings. Its aim is to create a 3D model, floor plans and vertical sections for the needs of the National Heritage Institute and the township of Knínice. The thesis describes the procedure for using laser scanning, all the necessary tasks that must be performed before the actual scanning, as well as the method of subsequent processing of the scanned data and creating the model in the software chosen for this purpose. The result of the work is a digital 3D model of a wooden belfry, floor plans and vertical sections showing the position of individual elements in the structure and a technical description of the object. These results can be used for archiving this historical cultural monument, its possible future reconstruction or even restoration.
Implementace koncepce Smart City ve vybraném regionu/obci
Vespalcová, Denisa

Využitie prvkov automatizácie a robotizácie v účetníctve
Hajduková, Sarah
The diploma thesis focuses on the use of automated technologies that can be used in the accounting profession to make work more efficient and especially in the processing of accounting documents. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify the possibilities of introducing automation in accounting processes and, based on own measurements, to build a model for calculating the benefits of introducing automation in accounting and tax offices. Thanks to a detailed analysis of the manual invoice processing of ten employees in a selected firm, the costs that the firm has to spend on their work were identified and used in the model. The results of the model showed that the cost of manual invoice processing is higher than the cost of software designed for invoice extraction and it is worthwhile to proceed to automation. Finally, the results are evaluated and recommendations are formulated to help other companies when deciding to implement automated invoice processing.
Priemysel 4.0 a trh práce
Habiňáková, Nikola
This thesis examines the labour market situation in European Union countries in the context of Industry 4.0. A fixed effects panel regression analysis is used to investigate the relationship between a country's technological level and labour market indicators. The impact of technological changes on unemployment is ex-amined at the macroeconomic level. The ratio of triadic patent families to the population is used as a representative of technological change. Variable research and development intensity is used to measure input for technological innovation. Based on the literature review, factors influencing the labour market were identified and included in the model. The results of statistical models suggest a significant positive relationship between a country's technological level in the form of triadic patent families and unemployment. Conversely, the relationship between research and development expenditure as a proxy for input for technological innovation and unemployment was not statistically confirmed.
The position of the employee in the changing world of dependent work
Tkadlec, Matěj ; Morávek, Jakub (advisor) ; Tomšej, Jakub (referee) ; Šimečková, Eva (referee)
THE POSITION OF THE EMPLOYEE IN THE CHANGING WORLD OF DEPENDENT WORK ABSTRACT This dissertation theses focuses on the issue of dependent work with regard to the phenomenon of the so-called sharing economy or platform economy. In its first part, I therefore discuss in detail what is actually meant by dependent work, what has been its historical development in our territory, and how its individual definitional features are interpreted, as defined in Section 2(1) of the Labor Code, as well as other features imported by case law, which are the consistency of work and its performance for remuneration. I conclude that the definition of dependent work as it is currently written in the Labor Code may in many cases erode the labor market rather than preserve legal certainty. The reason for this is that, particularly in the 21st century, the labor market is undergoing significant changes which, among other things, have resulted in new expectations, attitudes and requirements for mutual contractual relations on the part of both employers and employees. Strictly speaking, the definition of dependent work still corresponds to so-called factory work, but it is very skeletal when applied to more modern and flexible forms of employment such as those found in the IT sector or the sharing economy. For this reason, in the...
The American Media System and Political Parallelism: From Internal to External Pluralism
Charvát, Šimon ; Křeček, Jan (advisor) ; Nečas, Vlastimil (referee)
This bachelor's thesis examines the changing media system in the United States. Previously, the U.S. media system was seen as having the highest quality of journalism and its journalists as the greatest professionals. Due to the innovation of technology and increasing commercialization, the American media system is undergoing a major transformation. Part of this transformation is the transition from a media model of internal pluralism to one of external pluralism. In recent decades, the private American media, which were characterised by their impartiality and political balance, have begun to take committed positions and to side with political affiliations. Through a research of media science and political communication theories, followed by a structured synthesis, this paper aims to answer the question of why, when, and for what partial reasons this transformation occurred. This thesis will first describe the systems understanding of democracy and the integral role of the media system within it, place the American media system in historical context, and introduce the reader to theoretical models of media systems. It will describe aspects of the media system such as political parallelism and commercialization and then offer possible reasons behind this transformation. This work can serve as a...
Engineering geological mapping in the Karlovy Vary and Pilsen regions
Chocholoušek, Matyáš ; Rout, Jiří (advisor) ; Král, Jan (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on the evaluation of engineering geological mapping on a scale of 1: 5,000 in the territory of the Pilsen and Karlovy Vary regions (formerly the area of the West Bohemian Region). The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, a search of professional literature was carried out describing the methodology of creating engineering geological maps, consisting of preparatory work, field work and the actual completion of the entire elaborations. It also discusses the gradual development of engineering geological survey and mapping in the cross-section of the 1940s to the 1990s. In the practical part, 23 final, accompanying and interim reports are processed together with map, laboratory and documentation outputs. Map outputs at a scale of 1:5 000 were digitized using the QGIS software with the georeferencing tool in raster graphics. An orthophoto map and a state map from the 1950s were used as a basis for the fitting points.
