From Descates' Mind to Kant's Reason
Dekastello, Petr ; Hill, James (advisor) ; Palkoska, Jan (referee)
The basic subject-matter of my research is R. Descartes' Meditations On First Philosophy and I examine the term intellect and its position within the mind and its relation to thought. My work includes a study of sensation and imagination which provide the intellect with "material" to judge. The objective of my thesis is to demonstrate the role the intellect plays in terms of reason and to present an interpretation of the way in which the mind is designated in relation to reason according to Rene Descartes in his writing and in his responses to objections. The position and functions of the intellect are understood as a logical structure of mutual dependence and as the elements essential for the understanding of the human soul substance. At the end of my thesis I demonstrate that the system of reason of R. Descartes might be considered as the basis for the transcendental conception of reason in Kant's philosophy, which leads to an idealistic world conception and is founded on thinking a priori. Ohníček;changes in structure of magazine and in text characteristics between 1950-2001
Semecký, Jiří ; Končelík, Jakub (advisor) ; Wolák, Radim (referee)
The undergraduate thesis entitled "Časopis Ohníček: kvantitativní obsahová analýza vybraných pozornostních prvků 1950-2001" (Ohníček Journal: Content analysis of representation of selected attention-catching features in 1950-2001) deals with representation and role of visual attention-catching features in a children's printed periodical. The thesis describes a brief history and context of publishing the journal and with sensory perception of human organism with stress on visual perception, in connection with the process of attracting inadvertent as well as intentional attention. By means of quantitative content analysis it attempts at capturing the development of extent of representation of selected features with graphic significance in the journal, in particular of headlines and pictorial components, which immediately affect visual perception of the recipient and which are thus endowed with the largest potential to capture inadvertent attention through orienting responses. Such inadvertent attention may subsequently transform into intentional attention on the basis of the level of meeting individual expectations and interests. External form of respective contributions thus assists in awakening interest in their content. The development of the selected attention- capturing features is monitored...
Neuro-developmental stimulation in special education teachers work
Volemanová, Marja Annemiek
The aim of the dissertation entitled Neuro-Developmental Stimulation in special education teachers work is to explain a lesser-known phenomenon (persistent primary reflexes and sensory-sensitive integration disorders in children) to determine the prevalence of persistent primary reflexes in pupils from 5 to 8 years and verify effectiveness of the method Neuro- Developmental Stimulation as a possible intervention program for special educators. The theoretical basis is current knowledge about psychomotorics, primary reflexes, sensory perception and sensory-sensitive integration. The main part of the work is research into the prevalence of persistent primary reflexes. The research group consists 345 pupils from 5 to 8 years of age attending regular kindergartens and primary schools and 26 pupils aged 8 to 11 years attending a primary school established pursuant to Section 16, Paragraph 9 of the Czech Education law. Intervention by the Neuro-Developmental Stimulation method is verified in a case study. The next part of the research maps the experience of special pedagogue teachers and speech therapists with the method Neuro-Developmental Stimulation as an intervention program. The research has a quantitative approach. For data collection, questionnaires were distributed among all special pedagogues and...

Development of sensory perception at pre-school children with SEN
BURIANOVÁ, Michaela
In my thesis I apprise the readers with the evolution of children up to the age of seven years, games in kindergarten and didactic tools. My aim is also Informix kindergarten teachers about the possibility of making didactic tools and games from recycled and cheap materials. In my practical part I find out which didactic tools for sense perception are used in school practice in Tábor, Písek and České Budějovice counties. And if there is a possibility to make these tools in home environment for this purpose. Using half structured dialogues I evaluate the quality and possibilities of further usage of these tools in practice.

Divadlem k vývoji - vývojem k divadlu
Siersch, Clara ; OSWALDOVÁ, Petra (advisor) ; LOTKER, Howard Scott (referee)
Vlastní zkušenosti s představeními s maskami, a s maskami použivanými v terapii se porovnávají s teoretickým pozadím práce s maskou a filozofickými nápady o neutralitě. Předpoklad je ten, že v nicotě je pojmuto všechno. Žádný stres.
