Behaviour Disorders and Possibilities of Influencing Them in Educational

(in English): The topic of the thesis is behaviour disorders - especially aggression and aggressivness. There are causes of problematic behaviour and possibilities of their positive solution described in the thesis. The thesis also deals with causes and symptoms of behaviour disorders and with possibilities of their diagnostics. It focuses on victimization that represents a serious problem of current school. The last part deals with prevention and eliminataion of behaviour disorders and it also focuses on possibilities of music therapy.
Leisure time activities in the Home for Elderly Tachov, Panenská

The aim of this bachelor thesis called "Leisure activities for Panenská nursing home in Tachov" is to map the satisfaction of the house's clients with the leisure activities provided by the nursing home. This thesis comprises of two parts - theoretical and research. The theoretical part copes with the ageing problematics, with the needs of old people, their leisure time and leisure activities and certain acquisition programs. This thesis aims generally on the problematics with the focus on nursing homes, especially Panenská nursing home in Tachov. The main method is the qualitative research. The target, methodology and schedule are further described in the thesis. The used methods of qualitative research is the interviewing with semi-structured interviews. The interviews were held with the clients of Panenská nursing home in Tachov. The research data files has been chosen by the intentional quoting choice. As a secondary method, the framework data analysis technique, word-for-word transcription and the cluster-creating method has been chosen. The research has shown that the clients are satisfied with the leisure activities provided by the nursing home but they would like to introduce several new activities -handcrafting and creative writing especially. The extension of the scale of the activities would lead to the fulfilment of the needs of the clients and furthermore to more effective use of their leisure time. All the above mentioned information are possible to further use as an information source about the leisure activities in Panenská nursing home in Tachov. This bachelor thesis will be used as a feedback for the mentioned nursing home. It might help not just to improved the function of the nursing home but to greater satisfaction of its clients as well.
Music therapy as a support for student with Down syndrome

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá úlohou muzikoterapie, jako podpůrného prostředku pro člověka, který potřebuje pomoc na cestě životem. Popisuje průběh a vývoj jednotlivých muzikoterapeutických setkání, jejich dopad na klienta při uvědomování si vlastních hodnot a jejich transformaci do osobního a studentského života. Práce byla vypracována na základě vývoje kazuistiky v čase, rozhovorů a reflexe celé práce. The Art therapy's methods use at work with handicapped children

The thesis deals with using art therapy's methods and technique by multi-handicapped children. The first chapter characterizes multi-handicap, defines various disorders and their influence on the personality of a child. The second chapter introduces the therapy options which can be applied to multi-handicapped children, with a strong accent on artetherapy. In the third chapter there are various artetherapic methods and techniques which can be applied to multi-handicapped children. The fourth chapter shows creative expressions of children with the main accent on drawing, painting and modeling. The practical part describes civil associations where the research has been carried out, and presents the results of the research by means of five case studies. Using Music in Teaching English

This diploma thesis focuses on using music (primarily songs) in teaching English as a foreign language. The theoretical part deals with different aspects of the benefits of music. The first chapter covers the discipline of music therapy, it is followed by a chapter about Stephen Krashen's Affective Filter Hypothesis and subsequently about music and brain. Then there is a chapter about the role of motivation through music and the outline of possible criteria for choosing a good song. A chapter about different aspects of using songs: to teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and culture close this part. The goal of the practical part is to provide examples of using songs in an English lesson. A short chapter is concerned with other activities connected to music. The practical part consists of two surveys: the first one is a survey of a textbook series and the second one deals with the results of a survey carried out at different types of schools. Summary The thesis is trying to clarify the base of constantly developing discipline called music therapy, specifically music therapy for people with specific needs. In the introduction the psychological value of physical disability is mentioned with a focus on a cerebral palsy. The theoretical chapter is dealing with an impact of sound on a human body considering the music therapy. Practical part is focused on designing a music therapy plan which was subsequently applied in practice with physically disabled people. Grips training supported by an occupational therapist using music therapy techniques

The bachelor thesis called Grips Training supported by an occupational therapist using music therapy techniques is divided into two parts - the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with an introduction to the occupational therapy and music therapy, the music therapy techniques and their use in occupational therapy, upper extremity (discusses its importance, types and stages of handles) and basic information to the central paresis. The practical part processed 2 case reports of patients with quadriplegia after spinal injuries and overview of therapies, including photographs. The evaluation was performed based on observation and orientation testing. The aim is to determine whether music therapy techniques can be used to train grips.

Music Therapy and Children with Autism Abstract The thesis entitled Music Therapy and Children with Autism deals with the characteristics of childhood autism and introduces music therapy as one of the possible forms of therapies, by means of which the development of children with autism can be positively influenced. The objective of the thesis is to record and organize theoretical knowledge regarding therapeutic effect of music on children with autism. The practical, empiric, part of the thesis aims to analyze the impact of music therapy on the development of pupils of special elementary schools, primarily in the area of communication. Three demonstrations of music therapy lessons applied within the process of the target group therapy are included as well as case studies of pupils with autism, individual therapy plans and their evaluation.
