The aim of bachelor's thesis is to find a potencial of spa Toušeň and to prove that dispose of potencial to become more attractive and to compete with other spas of the Czech republic. The Thesis is divided into 4 parts. In the first part is explonation of terminology of this branch. The second part focuses on explaining and describing of natural curative resource and there is also detailled description of natural curative resource swamp. The third part contain an analysis of spa Toušeň and last part includes the results of the field research.
Hotel Marketing Strategy

The Master's Thesis is focused on the hotel marketing strategy issue. The theoretical section summarizes information about an issue of strategic situation analysis and it also involves marketing tools with focus on the hotel and spa industry. The goal of this paper is to design the situation analysis, evaluate the marketing tools used by the hotel and then summarize the results and include suggestions for the analyzed hotel. For the thesis were used literature sources as well as statistical yearbooks and internal information of analyzed hotel. The thesis is extended by consumer satisfaction survey and also web analytics tools as MajesticSEO and DoubleClick Ad Planner.
Marketing Strategy of the Spa Lázně Poděbrady

This thesis analyzes current situation of the Czech spa industry and significant changes in this field in relation to the planned health care reforms. The number of patients, whose treatment is fully funded by health insurance, will decline. These payments are important income for Czech spas. Practical part of the thesis is focused on spa marketing and suggests marketing strategy for the company Lázně Poděbrady adapted to the new economic environment.
Meaning of spa for entreprenuerial subjects in Czech Republic and Hungary

Cílem práce bylo provést komparaci České republiky a Maďarska z hlediska současného stavu lázeňství, systému poskytování lázeňské péče, počtu lázeňských zařízení v zemi a jejich právních forem podnikání. Dále provést srovnání konkrétního lázeňského zařízení v České republice s lázeňským zařízením stejné právní formy podnikání a obdobného významu v Maďarsku z hlediska marketingového mixu, vyjádřit význam lázeňství pro subjekty podnikající v lázeňství pomocí statistických údajů z oblasti lázeňství. V závěru práce identifikovat silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a ohrožení lázní v České republice a Maďarsku pomocí SWOT analýzy, na jejím základě stanovit návrhy a doporučení pro lázeňská zařízení v České republice.
Balneogy in regions of Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of influence the balneology at regional economies. The theoretical part is first given a brief analysis of the leading authors of publications focused on balneology and tourism. It also deals with the historical development of balneology and position of balneology in the national economy. In its practical part is focused on definition of regions where the balneology is significant. Followed by analysis of selected spa regions at the administrative district of municipalities with extended powers. In the selected regions are defined major spa companies, whose economic's indicators is analysed the importance of localization in the region. Thesis contains a description of balneology in regions of Czech Republic and komplex decsription of selected spa regions.
Consumer behavior in the wellness and spa services

The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part distinguishes between classic spa and wellness industry, the importance and history of the spa. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with marketing investigation as part of marketing research. The main part of thesis is practical part, which describes marketing research of consumer behavior in wellness services provided by spa facilities. Research includes the evaluation of customer survey, which was created for the purpose of this thesis, corresponding to the basic questions regarding consumer behavior. The conclusion summarizes the main findings and defines practical usage of trends.
State corporation as a source of political capital

This thesis deals with the question whether a state public enterprise is the source of political capital in the conception of the theory of rent-seeking on the example of the Czechoslovak state spa. The theoretical part explains the concept of political capital and the concept of rent-seeking theory from the view of Public Choice Theory. The analytical part is concerned with the fate of state spas in Czechoslovakia. The probe into the historical period of the First Republic is examined what happens to these spas, what is their place in the state budget, what is their fulfillment of stated objectives and which characters of rent-seeking in the form of political capital are observed at this state company. Based on this analysis it is concluded that the state spa enterprise is practical example of the theory of rent seeking and the source of political capital.

It includes the fundamental information about the destination of Italy and tourism in this country. It also deals with the characteristics of the spa of Italy from its inception to the present. In short, there is also will learn about 137 Italian spa areas. The last part is focused on comparison of several spas by selected characteristics .

Diploma thesis describes importance of balneology in Slovakia. Thesis contains importance and role of balneology in tourism, czechoslovakia history of balneology in the period 1918 - 1993, contemporary situation and trends of balneology in Slovakia and comparison of Czech and Slovak balneology. There is a hypothesis of similar balneology history of the Czech Republic and Slovakia as a result of their similar political history and there is a hypothesis of different nature curative resources.
