Burnout syndrome among employees of the company THOME Lighting

This bachelor thesis focuses on the employee burnout syndrome at the production department of the company THOME Lighting. The substance of the thesis is the determination of, whether the employees are at risk for the burnout syndrome, or if they already have it. The theoretical part deals with the description of the syndrome, its symptoms, risk factors, individual phases, prevention and treatment. Further, the practical part summarizes the research solutions. For the research I chose the questionnaire method of Beverly A. Potter, known as BPQ questionnaire. After detailed evaluation of the questionnaires, the hypotheses, that explore if the burnout syndrome has context with sex, age or the exposure time in the company, are evaluated. Hereafter, the awareness of the employees about the burnout syndrome is examined.
Use of marketing tools on social networks

This thesis mainly deals with the practical use of marketing tools in Czech social networks environment. The theoretical part introduces integration of social media concept into basic marketing theory, it also maps Czech Internet environment and brings readers summary of the most popular Czech and international social networks along with its brief history. The aim of this work is the creation of structure of marketing tools in order to maximize the effectiveness of Facebook profile. For this purpose I described basic measurable quantities that are essential for the possibility of comparing the effectiveness of different sized pages on social networks. The work is supported by practical demonstration from Czech Facebook environment that aims to present effectiveness of proposed solutions.

Již před přijetím Lisabonské smlouvy vnitrostátní parlamenty aktivně monitorovaly a připomínkovaly návrhy unijní legislativy a s přijetím Lisabonské smlouvy se tato úloha ještě posiluje. Práce přináší přehled aktuálních změn, které vnitrostátním parlamentům Lisabonská smlouva přináší, a věnuje se také meziparlamentní spolupráci, která je základním předpokladem realizace některých nově zavedených kontrolních mechanismů.

Motivation of employees in the selected company

This bachelor's thesis deals with the motivation of employees. It mainly focuses on the long-term intrinsic motivation - the engagement and the ways to achieve it. The aim is to investigate the application of these methods at the selected department. In the theoretical part of this thesis we present and explain the basic concepts and principles that lead to better utilization of human potential - most valuable asset of the company. In the second part we research the motivation level of the department by questionnaire examination. Then we present research results and recommendations to streamline the operation of the department.
Change management in corporations

The thesis is dedicated to describe area of change management in terms of its impact on employees. The theoretical part explains the term from different perspectives, explains the types of changes and their various impacts on implementation strategy of transformation projects. It sets out the emotional aspect of the change and ways how to lead employees in the process of overcoming natural resistance towards new reality. The practical part of the work is devoted to describe change framework in a particular company. This part evaluates contribution of the framework by comparing it with theoretical methodologies and with real experience of chief operating officer with past transformation project.
Analysis of the motivation system within a selected company

The aim of this study is to analyze employee incentive in a select company according to various criteria. The first part of the study is focused on motivational stimuli, motivation theories, motivation program and other theoretical bases related to this issue. Based on these results were analyzed and compared current motivation incentives within a company by using a questionnaire. The aim of this questionnaire was to examine motivational triggers and current employee experiences. All obtained results compiled and concluded into recommendations.
Employee engagement in an international company

The aim of this Master's thesis is to define which measures could increase employee engagement in a particular department of an international company. The main task of this paper is to provide comprehensive and useful guide leading to better efficiency, productivity and employee satisfaction. In terms of methodology the research is based on three steps -- analysis of current situation in the company, research and finally design of program to support employee engagement. Firstly, the theoretical approaches to engagement and motivation are analysed on the basis of qualitative research. Secondly, the internal documentation providing an overview of current state in the organization is analysed. Thirdly, a quantitative research is organized and the main engagement drivers are identified. The research was undertaken by using methods of survey, informal interviews and observation. Research was followed by verifying hypotheses. Based on the qualitative and quantitative research a system of measures was proposed. This should lead to increase of employee engagement and should be a guide for managers' decision making. The recommendations relate to rewards and recognition, carrier opportunities, work environment, work itself and perception of the company.
Modern marketing methods used in C2C e-Commerce systems

The objective of my diploma thesis was to find out the right mixture and usage of realized and planned marketing methods and their expected impact on company business. The diploma thesis resulted in a compact summary of the company marketing effort as well as offered suggestions how to improve imperfections in given areas. For the particular analysis of the market competition I have created an overview of procedures and a selection of techniques usable for information aggregation necessary for current situation analyses of the project marketing. Diploma theses results in a compact summary of corporate situation from the marketing point of view in the chosen Salon Umeni project.
