A company electronic business model

The aim of my thesis is creation of a company electronic business model. The first part includes Internet background characterization and its users. Afterwards I focus on the electronic commerce and identify important parameters for an electronic business draft. Then follows an analysis of the present state of a company FOTO Sláma. I create the suitable electronic business model based on proposed strategies. In conclusion the benefits of my proposed model for FOTO Sláma are evalueted.
Extensibility of open-source platforms for online shopping on Czech market

The main subject of this thesis is an analysis of open source platforms and their add-ons for online shopping in Czech market. The aim is to describe various open source platforms and chart available add-ons, such as shipping and logistics, connection with accounting systems, payment methods, price comparison and similar add-ons, which extend functionality of an e-shop. This work also presents the installation of PrestaShop and its basic add-ons, which are compared to similar paid add-ons.
The Use of Google Analytics in an E-shop

This thesis is focused on detailed description of the Web analytics tool Google Analytics and its use in improving attendance and competitiveness of Dobra vína company's e-shop. The aim is to propose measures that will increase sales of offered products. The measures were designed combining the analysis of web content, technical analysis of the web and the data obtained using Google Analytics. The thesis provides updated information on setting up Google Analytics: important changes that had taken place recently among which the transition to asynchronous syntax. These haven't been yet summarized in any other similar work. It also brings its own perspective on the use of information from Google Analytics to improve the performance of Internet business. The thesis presents the web analytics and the tool Google Analytics in general; it describes the setup and customization of the tracking code and finally it provides a short guide on how to read the visualized data. In the practical part it explores the web content of the Dobra vína's site and its technical aspects, after this it presents the specific settings of Google Analytics for the site and the final chapters analyze the data obtained from Google Analytics and propose adequate measures to take.
The evolution of electronic commerce focusing on sale of food

This bachelor's thesis concentrates on electronic commerce with focus on sale of food. At first, history of information technology is described. An important part belongs to electronic commerce which is defined here. The division of e-commerce is depicted, positives and negatives of internet shopping are discussed. The question of law is mentioned and the main figure is consumer and his protection. Later, online grocery shops, that succeeded in the world, are named and described. Finally, Czech online shops selling food are compared with each other and with a hypermarket.
Chosen problems of consumer protection

Theme of my bachelor´r work was Chosen problems of consumers protection. I chose consumer protection in electronic business. I wrote about important definitions of consumer protection in theoretical part of my work, for example consumer protections, consumer, discretions and duties of seller and of consumer, reclamation, marketing research, laws of consumer protection in Czech Republic and in European Union, electronic business, electronic commerce, state institutions of consumer protection, state supervisory authorities, civil consumer´s institutions, electronic contracts etc. I made marketing research in practical part of my work. Checklist had sum of 21 questions. I served out questions in three parts: categorizing questions, universal questions about consumer protection and questions about electronic business. Next, I valorized outcomes of marketing research and I presented them with the aid tables and graphs. From data analysis it emerged: interviewees had very good knowledge about consumer protections. Consumers knew where informations and which instruments cater to consumer protections find. Few of them used services of consumer´s institutions. I think good step would be: bigger medial publicity and supply of information.
Zabezpečení malých internetových obchodů

The thesis describes selected security issues affecting small business e-commerce sites in the European Union and also shows whether such issues exist in authentic applications currently being used by means of a small scale study. It presents several specifics of e-commerce, a summary of European Union (European Community) law with focus on private data protection and unsolicited mail based on literature search and an overview of minimum security requirements for web-based applications. The research part contains an assessment of parts of a source code, documentation, incident response procedures and installation scripts of seven most popular PHP open-source shopping carts with regard to security derived from criteria and directives defined in the theoretical part. A limited field study of possible effects of security (or of lack thereof) on turnover is conducted and results are available at the end of the thesis.
Analysis of B2B demand portals market and perspective of its development

This paper analyzes Czech market of B2B e-marketplaces. First part is focused on mapping of the whole market, its main aim is to find as many of these marketplaces as possible. Every single e-marketplace is tabularly processed with mentioning of the basic data. Second part of the paper compares them on the basis of predefined metrics. This part is full of tables and diagrams for better lucidity of analyzed data. Third part discusses predictions for the future of the whole market. Is it possible, that one strong e-marketplace will emerge and conquer the whole market? What technologies are on the horizon? Are there any threats to this market? These are the questions that this part brings answers to.
Comparing SaaS e-Shops for small and middle business unit

The goal of this bachelor project is to compare offers of a few e-Commerce (e-Shop) solutions which are realized as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service). After this comparison, I will try to chaose the most suitable e-Commerce projects for small and middle business units (SMUs). The project is divided into five sections. The first part starts with a definition and description of the problem. The following two sections include the theoretical aspects of SaaS and e-Commerce. There are defined the basic features and there is also written something about history and technology of these models. The next part deals with mentioned comparison of several e-Shop projects. There are defined the criterias for choosing of the individual providers and the metrics for evaluation. The output from this part is the order of the best e-Shop solutions for the Czech SMUs. The fifth section is aimed at a description of a practical e-Shop implementation. Concretely, the implementation is used for small Czech firm which deals in gardening. There are described the specific requirements of the company and estimated a future impacts on its economy. The conclusion sums up the bachelor project and there is also estimated an evolution of the SaaS model.
Online shops as a service to entrepreneurs

The main goal of this thesis is to encourage entrepreneur in the choice of online shop solutions offered by way of rent. This goal has been fulfilled by the creation of a simple methodical procedure easily applicable by entrepreneurs, who do not have technical knowledge and would like to use the online shop solutions through rental services. That methodology is the largest contribution of this thesis. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first section provides an introduction to the problem, highlights the advantages and disadvantages of Internet commerce, both from the perspective of entrepreneurs as well as customers and evaluates the current situation of Internet trading on the Czech market. The second part describes the available options (categories) of establishing the online shop. The third part builds on the findings of previous parts and by using a wide range of criteria, it creates a complex methodology for the selection of specific solution implemented by way of rent.
