Diagnostic expert system
Mertlík, Tomáš ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Karásek, Jan (advisor)
This paper refers to expert systems. Expert system is a computer program dedicated to giving an expert advice, decisions or recommending the best solution in a particular situation. This paper mentions four types of expert system which are commonly used in practice. Basic, additional and complementary components of expert systems are described. The practical part of this paper refers to the diagnostic problem of computer start based on expert system implemented in JAVA programming language and ECLIPSE IDE.
Advanced Source Code Editor for a Given Language
Srna, Pavol ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Eysselt, Miloš (advisor)
Aim of this BSc Thesis is to acquaint with application programming interface of eclipse development environment and to extend appropriately its source code editor to obtain the characteristics of the advanced text editors in the language SIT. The Thesis describes the creation of the parser and lexer from ANTLR grammar. It explains the way of writing plugins to the eclipse platform by focusing on the source code editor. The implemented editor plugin has the support of syntax highlighting, a syntax checking, an automatic code completion and a context information.
Database Version Management for Application Development in Eclipse
Palarczyk, Vít ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with database version control for application development in Eclipse. In the theoretical part, it provides information about the Eclipse environment and its extension modules (plugins) that are an inseparable part of Eclipse. There is also a description of version control systems with a detailed focus on the Subversion system and a description of the JDBC application interface that is used for connecting the database in Java applications. The next part deals with the design of a tool for database version control, which is implemented as a plugin for Eclipse. In this section, there is a description of the implementation and a description of the installation and use of this tool. In the final part, there is a description of the performed tests and their results.
E-mail Client for OpenMoko
Krátký, Pavel ; Bartoň, Radek (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Openmoko is a revolutionary Linux platform with an expanding community of developers. The goal of the project is to create a user-friendly email client programmed in Java and analyze the difficulties of application development on this platform. The thesis discusses possibilities of development of this kind of applications, especially those using SWT widget toolkit. JavaMail library which handles the electronic mail is described as well. In conclusion we demonstrate advantages and disadvantages of the created program. The outcome of this thesis is an email client designed for mobile Linux devices with touch control and an introduction to software development on the Openmoko platform.
A Tool for Modelling of Component-Based Systems
Gál, Ivan ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with component software, software frameworks for the Eclipse platform and the creation of a graphical editor for designing component systems with the usage of the Eclipse platform. After introducing the conception of UML component diagram, it describes the overview of component software, components and component technologies of major players on ground of component software: OMG, Sun, Microsoft. A significant part is dedicated to software frameworks for the Eclipse platform for manipulating with meta models. EMF, GEF and GMF are described in more detail. The main part presents the design, implementation and evaluation of a graphical editor for designing component systems with emphasis on understandability and good arrangement.
Component Interconnection Inference
Olšarová, Nela ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The Master Thesis deals with the design of hardware component interconnection inference algorithm that is supposed to be used in the FPGA schema editor that was integrated into educational integrated development environment VLAM IDE. The aim of the algorithm is to support user by finding an optimal interconnection of two given components. The editor and the development environment are implemented as an Eclipse plugin using GMF framework. A brief description of this technologies and the embedded systems design are followed by the design of the inference algorithm. This problem is a topic of combinatorial optimization, related to the bipartite matching and assignment problem. After this, the implementation of the algorithm is described, followed by tests and a summary of achieved results.
Simulation of PicoBlaze Microcontroller in Eclipse
Šimek, Jiří ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a simulator of PicoBlaze microcontroller. The aim of this thesis is to create a graphical simulator of this microcontroller in Eclipse as an extension of the existing integrated development environment VLAM IDE. The thesis describes in detail the simulator uCsim which was chosen for implementation of PicoBlaze simulator core and introduces its improvements for a better support of automatized testing. The thesis also presents a description of desing and implementation of the graphical simulator in Eclipse which uses the created simulator core and discusses possible improvements of the implemented core and graphical simulator.
A Tool for Modelling of Component-Based Systems
Zemko, Zoltán ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Component-based Software Engineering describes a complex information system as a set of components. The thesis seeks to highlight the benefits of this approach. Also defines terms such as standard software, component software, and others. It provides an introduction to the modeling techniques of component-based systems in UML. The second half of the document describes the structure of the Eclipse Modeling Project. The reader by these lines should obtain a theoretical overview of the development of modeling tools under Eclipse. The document includes design and implementation process description of the tool for modeling component-based systems which has been developed using the Eclipse Modeling Framework and Graphical Modeling Framework.
Profiling Perspective in Eclipse
Hynek, Jiří ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is concerned by question of creation a new plug-in for software development enviroment Eclipse. Product of this work is the view intended for profiling perspective of software development enviroment of project Lissom based on Eclipse. The aim of the view is draw call graphs defined by data from XML structure.
Graphical Tool for Rapid Prototyping of System on the Chip
Netočný, Ondřej ; Křoustek, Jakub (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementing of a tool for development of MPSoC (multiprocessor systems on chip). It is going to apprise the reader with this matter and introduces several ways how to solve these issues in Codasip Studio IDE (integrated development environment). The graphical editor for multicore system development and a set of support tools for fast and effective development are introduced in this thesis. These are mainly interactive wizards which help user to start new projects. To handle the subject matter it is necessary to understand CodAL language, Eclipse IDE, GMF (Graphical Modeling Framework) and EMF (Eclipse Modeling Framework) which are used for graphical editor implementation.
