The Bachelor Thesis is focused on perception of physiotherapy in the context of comprehensive rehabilitation relating to clients living in the retirement home and the home for disabled people in Újezd near Klatovy. Recently, it used to be forgetting the physiotherapy within complex rehabilitation at the retirement home and the home for disabled people. My primary aim is to find out how the importance of physiotherapy is perceived by clients and by employees of the chosen facility. The Thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. The first two chapters of the theoretical part are focused on population, which is growing old with regard to material security and finding the meaning of life. Old age is not a disease. It is an evolutionary normal state of every human being. In the next two chapters of the theoretical part there are described chosen homes and their function, their target clients and provided services. Following four chapters deal with tools of rehabilitation, which are connected and they are distinguished by well-timing, compactness, completeness. As a follow-up a chapter which is focused on team cooperation of which is to keep or improve quality of living in the most natural environment and prevent social excluding. The last chapter of theoretical part deals with activation activities which belong to fundamental activities provided within social services and they contribute to maintaining or improving psychological, physical and social state of seniors. The practical part contains the research which investigates clients and emploees´ opinion about physiotherapy, especially its importance during maintaining of locomotor system and its methods which are used at chosen facilities. Employees were also asked about other activation activities which can be used by their clients. The research uses a strategy of the qualitative study with a technique of the half-structured interview. During studying of personal documentation there was used the method which is called the analysis of personal data. The research is concerning six clients of the two homes and three specialized employees who work with the clients. Results of their interviews were compared and evaluated. The principal aim of the Thesis was to find out how clients perceive the importance of physiotherapy at chosen homes and obtain answers to three research questions. The first question occupied with service which is offered to clients at homes within the complex rehabilitation. The second question is focused on the subjective evaluation of service which is provided within the complex rehabilitation. And the last question deals with the employees perception how they perceive physiotherapy in connection with the complex rehabilitation. As it follows from the results, clients have a large choice of activation activities or tools of rehabilitation and that clients are satisfied at their homes. According to the opinion of respondents and employees, physiotherapy is very important in comparison to other activation activities or tools of rehabilitation, like group and individual exercise, which are the most popular. Another participation of clients in activation activities depends on current interest of taking part in activation.

The topic of this diploma thesis is to revitalise of one city block and to maximise of its utilisation with combination of many different functions on this concrete area. This work is based on pre-diploma project in previous semester. This project ensures many possible functions for the inhebitants and also reflects natural differentiation between privat and public usage with impact on high quality of living space and appropriate public transport. Designed build-up area is situated betveen Veveri, Kounicova and Pekarenska streets in Brno. Patterns of this area are essential for the treatment of this project when both diagonaly and verticaly crosses whole area. Substance and space treatment reflects nearby structures and is naturally connected to it. Main substance of object is divided to three blocks via communications which crosses the area. Innerblock is sedated with green vegetation, connected to transit parter with shops and services. On the parters roof there is green walk-designed cover for inhabitants and after there are higher houses. Whole building complex is closed with rambling fractional roof covers with terraces of storeyed flats. This space structure is horizontally divided by its functions. In this project there are underground garages, shops and services, administrative spaces and space for rent and mostly flats for living. Fundamental look of the building is created by external rendering covering most of building which is connected to nearby structures. Shopping mall and separate blocks and also entrances to buildings and terraces/balcony are formed by taking off the substance by which leads to its fractionalism.

SAROVÁ, Klára
The goal of this thesis is to find out how elderly people live their lives in village, how are their intergenerational relationships with family, friends, but also in which way they spend their leisure time, how they take care of themselves and which social services they use. Theoretical part introduces readers to concepts like old age, aging, periodization of old age, the question of housing and intergenerational cohabitation. Empiric part focuses on seniors older than 70 years living in small village. They have been defined two research questions. How seniors of age 70+ live in small village in home environment? With which problems are seniors struggling in selected parts of life? These established questions helped me to achieve the goal. To achieve established research goal, the questioning method has been used within qualitative strategy. Semi-structured interview has been based on pre-prepared questions, which could be extended. Research group consisted of 4 seniors in the same ratio of women to men. For purpose of research they have to meet 2 criteria; age and residence in home environment in small village. Research group has been selected based on purposeful selection and took place in the village in the district of Plzeň-jih. From the research results emerged satisfaction of seniors with living in village. Seniors do not feel deprived by in material or spiritual area. They are aware of knowing that some things, which they feel sorry about or they perceive as a problem, they could influence to a large extent by their own activity. They realize, that there is always some way. From the research emerged a fact, that some social services could be more suited for seniors in the village, for example in transportation. Each one could turn to family for help, but half of them are independent and they organize many things even in their advanced age. This should be considered in their age as admirable. We could ascribe it to improvement of lifestyle and also to their better social position in the society, when seniors are no more set aside to the edge of society and excluded. Content of this bachelor thesis could be especially benefit for social workers, who pursue this area. It could interest even the general public including nurses, workers in social services, families caring for their parents etc. It could serve for those, who are interested in problematic of seniors and do not know the rural environment.
Completion of a city block Urban development study of a city block between the streets Koliště, Cejl a Vlhká
Zámečníková, Barbora ; Foretník, Jan (referee) ; Františák, Luboš (advisor)
An elaborate territory spanning the streets of Koliště, Cejl and Vlhká is situated near the historical core of the city. The character of the neighborhood lies in the historical events of the 19th century - the disturbance of the walls and the formation of a circular class. Eight objects are designed in the designed area - 2 on the street Vlhká and 6 on the street Koliště. The effort of the project was ended with a block of the city, following the surrounding construction with mutual respect. The exterior of the objects is designed with a classic fine white color. The proposal also includes the urban area transfer to the City Directorate of the City of Brno, as well as the relocation of the Vlhká Street space to create a fully-fledged area of the square. On both streets - Koliště and Vlhká are newly-built long-standing parking places enriched by the linear planting of trees to bring greenery in the area and its surroundings. The overall concept is designed to make its functionality and disposition effective, as well as an effort to react to the surrounding environment. Designed objects completing the city block are polyfunctional objects with a vertical division functions. Part of the design is also the connection of the streets Koliště and Vlhká for the pedestrians through the passage through the inter-building between the buildings. The main idea of creating the interior is in contrast to the busy street Koliště. The proposal proposes the completion of blocks as a unification of the whole territory.
