Alemayehu, Adam ; Tyrpekl, Václav (advisor) ; Brázda, Petr (referee)
Title: Preparation and characterization of bi-phasic magnetic nanoparticles Author: Bc. Adam Alemayehu Department: Department of Innorganic Chemistry Supervisors: doc. RNDr. Daniel Nižňanský, Ph.D. RNDr. Václav Tyrpekl, Ph.D. Consultant: M.Sc. Dominika Zákutná Abstract The work is focusing on the magnetic properties of ferrimagnetic spinel ferrites before and after the introduction of a shell on a core particle with different magnetic properties. The core nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal decomposition of oleate precursors. The introduction of shell was carried out by hydrothermal treatment of the already prepared core particles. The phase composition, spinel structure and the sizes of the prepared samples were investigated by powder X-ray diffraction and by transmission electron microscopy. Formation of the shell on top of the core particle was determined indirectly, using Mössbauer spectroscopy at room temperature. The interparticle interactions and the particle shape was studied by small angle X-ray scattering. The magnetic properties of the prepared samples were measured on a SQUID magnetometer. Key words: magnetic nanoparticles, core, shell, spinel structure, powder X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy, magnetic measurements, TEM
Pre-operational preparation in the context of historical development
STUCHLÍKOVÁ, Jindřiška
The thesis "Preoperative Preparation in the Context of Historical Development" is a theoretical dissertation that deals with the history of not only the preoperative preparation but also with nursing and surgery dividing them into several time horizons. The preoperative preparation is an inseparable part of any surgery and based on it the nursing specifications are determined. This thesis is written as a detailed search of primary and secondary sources. The thesis is divided into four main chapters that deal with the history of the preoperative preparation in connection with nursing, nurse education and the preoperative preparation today. The preoperative preparation has undergone many changes during its development. It was influenced by the factors occurring at that time. Nurses had to adapt to the time to be able to respond to changes and to learn in terms of surgery. The aim of the thesis was to analyse the development of the preoperative preparation and point out the influence of the nursing care on the preoperative preparation from a historical perspective. Two research questions were chosen at the outset in connection with the objective: How did the preoperative preparation develop? How has the preoperative preparation changed over time? On the basis of a textual analysis, it emerged the greatest development occurred in the 19th century because that is the time when the preoperative preparation got its name. This dissertation describes it is written using an analytical method, and consequently it is elaborated as an interpretive text.
Crime preparation
Verner, David ; Vokoun, Rudolf (referee)
The master's thesis comprehensively deals with the issue of the preparation of a criminal offence and other disputable questions related with this stage in the commission of a criminal offence. The emphasis is mainly put on its definition in the Czech criminal law, taking account of relevant judicial decisions necessary to interpret the relatively brief statutory provisions. The aim of the thesis is to carry out critical evaluation of the current legislation sanctioning preparation, to identify questionable parts and potential shortcomings that may exist in the practice. On this basis I try to suggest solutions to the identified problems or at least to contribute to the discussion about them. The thesis is divided into five parts, the first generally puts the preparation into the criminal law system, describes its various forms, distinguishes it from the other stages in the commission of the criminal offence and briefly describes the historical development of its sanctioning on our territory. The second part focuses on the problematics of the impossible preparation and issues regarding its criminalization and punishing. The third part deals with a specific reason for extinction of criminal liability for the preparation, namely the voluntary refraining from further preparatory acts. The attention is...

Sports Interview and Its Specifics - with Focus on Czech Audio-Visual Media Practice
Lichnovský, Tomáš ; Záruba, Robert (advisor) ; Macková, Veronika (referee)
The interview is one of the journalist's basic methods and that statement also applies to the field of sport journalism. Through talking with athletes, the journalist gets information he afterwards shares with readers, listeners or viewers. When author decides to publish acquired material in the original dialogical form, it becomes of the interview genre. How would an ideal sport interview look like in this respect? What skills should a good sports journalist have? And how to ask the athlete not to answer "obviously"? The explanation on this topic has not existed in the Czech aca- demic sphere yet. For the first time, the diploma thesis Sport interview and Its Spe- cifics has tried to find the supported answers to the previous questions. In four explanatory chapters, the reader is introduced to the issue of media dia- logues with persons from the sports environment. The emphasis is laid on Czech audiovisual media area where the sport interview takes many forms. Besides a lit- erature research and the author's sports journalist practice, the thesis is based on interviews with leading Czech sports journalists. Their comments and tips are an essential part of the written theory. And what do the respondents think about sports journalists and the communication with them? A few notes of four Czech fa-...

Complexes of aminoclay and selected organic compounds
Dušek, Jakub ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This paper describes the preparation of aminoclay and complexes of aminoclay with selected bioactive substances. The theoretical part deals with the study of aminoclay and substances suitable for complexes and suitable modification of preparation these complexes. Experimental part of this paper consists of preparation of aminoclay complexes and verification of their formation. In order to verify the formation of the complex by binding of bioactive compounds to the free amino groups of aminoclay were used methods FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) and XRD (X-ray diffraction). For selected substances, binding to the aminoclay would improve their properties, which was the main motivation for the research. The resulting complexes could be more effective by replacing existing substances used in the pharmaceutical industry and biomedical applications.
