Simple digital photo camera

My bachelor’s thesis deals with the suggestion of simple digital camera. It describes in detail the form of connection and operating of digital camera module from cell phone Siemens S55. It introduces the example of communication with the mentioned module and the creation of photo. Describes the USB Host Microcotroler Vinculum in term of its attributes and the form of connection included with simple example of communication. Thereinafter it deals with the question of the suggestion of solution of power supply and describes schematic. Further includes a description of the microcontroler software and finally discusses the connectivity of external mudule showing photos made in JPEG.

Modulr RGB LED display

The aim of this master’s thesis was the design RGB LED display with Ethernet interface. I created a display module, controlled by a microcontroller ATmega 2560-16AU. These modules can be connected via a serial RS485 standard. Ethernet connection is made via plug-in interface that uses the programmable module Rabbit RCM 3200. I documented a proposal. I tested designed device.

Industrial state indicator

Diploma work deals with industrial display systems, indicators and their proposal. These systems are used everywhere that is necessary to mediate transmission of information. Own proposal of indicator is very specific and depends on given application and used display. In practice there is possible to use a few types of displays but in this diploma work there are used only sedmisegmental and matrix. Common component of proposal is microcontroller. No less significat and important part of the proposal is a choice of interface and communication protocol. The correct choice of hardware that is completed with software we will obtain complete status indicator.

HC08 Microcontroller Development Kit

Presented bachelor degree programme is aimed on design and implementation of a development board for Freescale HC908QB8 microcontroller from HC08 family. The board will allow the user to test a variety of typical microcontroller applications including temperature measurement, intelligent LCD interfacing and I2C bus communication. The development board can be programmed using universal DBG08 serial programmer. Care was taken to minimize the probability of an accidental misconnection causing potential damage to the circuit, which makes the device suitable for educational purposes.

Design of Stand for Dispensing Fuel

The aim of this work is draft design of dispenser of fuel. The draft design, which should have inovative solution of the construction, functionality and of course design. However, the draft design doesn’t have to observe all technical, ergonomic and economic aspects. This dispenser would be different from the others.

Design of Chimney Effect Control

This paper talks about problematics of excessive chimney draft. In the first part of the thesis the possibilities of chimney draft adjustability are summarized. Subsequently, a mathematical model, which describes the behavior of the chimney as a dynamic system, is built. Then a simple production control unit development is described. This control unit si designed to control the chimney draft. The main goal of this work is to design and manufacture electronic control based on the dsPIC microcontroller.

Car4 vehicle remote control enhancement

This work deals with adding the LCD display to the remote control and its programming. At the introduction, we describe available data that we could get from the on-board sensors. Then we describe in detail how are the data transmitted between vehicle and its remote control, how the data are processed and then displayed. Also the modifications performed on the on-board electronic wiring and battery charging are discussed and described.
