Protection of personal rights of individual in mass media
Knytlová, Kateřina ; Švestka, Jiří (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee)
11. Abstract in English This Master Thesis refers to the protection of personal rights of the individual in mass media. The main purpose is to analyse Czech legal regulations regarding this matter and to assess if the level of judicial remedy for the protection of personal rights is sufficient and appropriate. This thesis is focused on the collision of two fundamental rights, namely the right to protection of personal rights and that of freedom of speech and expression. Because of the growing influence of mass media, these rights are frequently at the centre of public debate and issues. The principal problem is which right should be prioritized. Both of them are established as fundamental human rights at the constitutional level therefore enjoy the same degree of protection. Attention is also paid to Spanish legal regulations of protection of personal rights of the individual in mass media. The important differences between the Czech and Spanish legal systems are pointed out throughout the whole paper. The thesis is composed of seven chapters. The first chapter is introductory. Chapter two deals with the protection of personal rights in general and explains this concept while enumerating law sources. Chapter three describes the protection of personal rights of the individual in mass media. It elaborates on...

Title Financial Security ANNOTATION The diploma work presented deals with financial security, i.e. with one of the methods of securing an obligation, as set out under the provision of Section 323a et seq. of Act No. 513/1991 Coll., The Commercial Code, as amended. In the work as a whole, I deal in detail, on the one hand, with description of the above- mentioned legal institution, financial security, in the form ascribed to it presently by the valid and effective legal regulations in the Czech Republic. Thus, I deal with the concept of financial security in our system of law, origin of the legal institution and its inclusion in the system of law of the Czech Republic, while defining the fundamental notions being necessary to study this part of the commercial law of the Czech Republic. Further, I address explanatory and interpretation problems of financial security, both in the light of the European Union's legal regulations, which are, if simplifying, a template for our legal regulations concerning financial security, and from the point of view of our reputable law specialists, who dealt with financial security in specialised publications, in particular in their commentaries on the Commercial Code, and in articles published in professional periodicals. Also I devote a significant part of this work to the...

The last part deals with implementation of applications in PowerPivot for MBI model (Management of Business Informatics).

Common Image Stereo-Pair Processing for Simple Stereo-Geometry
Peloušek, Jan ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis considers the basics of epipolar geometry, explains the process of the automatic correspondency detection, describes principals of the fundamental matrix computation and finally the virtual camera view morphing between two images. There were described some of the basic Intel´s OpenCV library functions joined with this issue and describes de facto the computer stereo-pair processing. As a part of this thesis, there is the application, programmed in the C++ language in the Borland C++ Builder 6.0 developer´s environment by using the OpenCV library. This application demonstrates some of here-mentioned terms such as the fundamental matrix computation and the virtual camera view morphing. In relation to the Borland C++ Builder 6.0 using there was described the integration method of OpenCV to this environment.

Complex database solution design for Gemini ophtalmology clinic
Kadlec, Jakub ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Sramka, Martin (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a complex analysis and database solution design for Gemini ophtalmology clinic in Zlín, Czech Republic. The clinic handles a large amount of data on a daily basis being used by doctors, administrative workers, but as an essential background dataset by robotic surgical machines as well. Currently, the data is being transmitted via physical data files, which inevitably goes with a big probability of subjective errors and data redundancy. The analysis has been based on multiple interviews with Gemini's IT personnel and the models are result of throughout research of clinic's business and information processes. At the beginning of the thesis, there is a theoretical introduction to database analysis and design, followed by a complex database solution design, including features from object-relational database systems which can be helpful considering that the database will be connected to the robotic surgical machines. Their programmatic interface is written in C#, which is an object oriented language, and the thesis describes ways how object features in otherwise fully relational database can result in easier and more straightforward data manipulation. As a result, this bachelor thesis could serve as an inspiration in modernizing technology infrastructure design in a field which is very conservative and is adapting modern approach very slowly.

Microdamage of bone tissue is one of important aspects of quality of bone. Marked suppression of bone turnover by bisphosphonates is associated with increased accumulation of bone microdamage in animal models. The purpose of our study was to test the hypothesis that long-term treatment with alendronate (ALN) results in accumulation of microdamage in bone in women after menopause and in that case to impairment of bone quality. In this cross-sectional study, 66 women with postmenopausal osteoporosis (mean age of 68.0 years, mean BMD T-score of - 1.7 at total hip and -2.8 at lumbar spine; 62% with prevalent fractures) were evaluated. Thirtyeight had been treated previously with ALN (10 mg/day for a mean duration of 63.6 months) while 28 were treatment naive (TN). Before initiation of ALN treatment, mean serum PINP, plasma CTX, and OC were significantly increased as compared with reference values in premenopausal women (P< 0.05). After 6 months of ALN treatment, the mean of biochemical bone markers indicated significant suppression of bone remodeling (-70.5%, -84.1%, and - 67.3% for PINP, CTX and OC, respectively; P< 0.05). After 43 months of ALN treatment, markers of degradation and synthesis of type 1 collagen were below the lower limit of normal reference range in 50% of women treated with ALN. Without...
