Type 1 diabetes mellitus is among autoimmune disease that primarily affects children and young people. when This disease leads to the destruction of B-cells Pancreatic islets of Langerhans which are responsible for insulin secretion. Its deficiency leads to disturbances metabolism of carbohydrates and other nutrients . The destruction of B- cells occurs gradually and the first clinical symptoms appear only when destruction of a percentage of B- cells of the pancreas . after the outbreak difficulties the patient becomes dependent on exogenous life insulin administration . The incidence of type 1 diabetes mellitus is increasing worldwide and There are significant differences between geographic countries. This suggests that the pathogenesis of the disease have undoubtedly a great influence environmental factors. important role Genetic factors also play a immunological mechanisms. In my work I try to outline the possibilities of prevention as it related prediction type 1 diabetes mellitus . describe primarily genetic , and immunological markers , which can be used to predict genetic risk and to monitor the period before the manifestation of the disease. Swimming Programs for Infants and Toddlers and the Influence on Gross Motor Development Dynamics

Title: Swimming Programs for Infants and Toddlers and the influence on gross motor development dynamic. The aquatic programs for Infants and Toddlers are very popular in the contemporain culture and they presents the maximal stimulation for the motor development dynamic. This study observe the influence of swimming lessons on the Gross Motor Level. Objektive: To identificate the Gross Motor Function level for a group of 10 two years old children who participates in swimming programs for infants and Toddlers. Metod: Identification ofmotor deviation from "normal" motor behavior, using The Gross Motor Function mesure ofL. Vaivre- Douret. Comparative study ofthe gross motor function level and the real age. Results: For the group of 6 children, the motor function level was higher than the real age and in the case offour children, the motor function level corelated with the real age. Conclusions: In the majority oftested infants the developmentallevel is higher than the real age, but in the reason of developmental factors multiplicity, it is impossible to prove that the swimming programs are the major cause of developmental deviations. Alteration of some psychological methods, which are applicable school readiness at hearing-impaired children

There is a wide range of different psycho diagnostics methods for evaluation of the school readiness of the pre-school children; however, there is no single method that is standardized or has benchmarks for hard-hearing and deaf children in the Czech Republic. This dissertation describes strong and weak point of the standard psycho diagnostic methods as well as provides recommendation which methods shall be used for psycho diagnostics of the school readiness of the hard-hearing and deaf children. The dissertation also outlines particular testing methodology for the hard-hearing and deaf children. The nine most frequently used methods were chosen for the dissertation research. A questionable understanding of the standard instruction has been indicated in seven methods: Screening Test of School Readiness, Ravens Progressive Matrices, Reversal Test, Retracing Test, Laterality Test and Drawing test of Human and Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales. Two methods cannot be used for hard-hearing or deaf children at all, since they test ability to recognize sounds of the speech; this was a Test of auditory differentiation a WPPSI Performance Scale. Moreover, WPPSI Performance Scale is a pure verbal based test focused on measuring verbal intelligence.

Differences in design of Urban's Test for Creative Thinking-Drawing Production of children with specific learning disability

The main goal of this bachelor?s dissertation is to describe the figural creativity in a group of children with a specific learning disorders using Urban?s Test for Creative Thinking-Drawing Production (TCT-DP). In the theoretical section, the author will characterise the phenomenon of creativity, the area of specific learning disabilities, the respondents? developmental period and the theoretical starting points for the research method. In the practical section, the author will set out the divergences which can be seen in drawings of children with specific learning disabilities and children without any such diagnosis on the basis of a quantitative analysis of drawings by children in the 3rd and 4th class at primary school. The author will define any similar features which may have been discovered in the respondents? drawings upon the basis of the quantitative analysis.

Development of a child with dyslexia from the perspective of parents.

The thesis is focused on children with reading and writing disorders from the perspective of parents. The work is characterized by specific learning issues with focus on dyslexia and other learning disabilities. It also deals with possible causes, diagnosis and correction of specific learning disabilities. Research is focused on the educanional development of children with reading disabilities from the perspective of parents. To what extent are parents aware of the problems of dyslexia, how they perceive your child's diagnosis and how it affected access to it.

Issues of specific disorders of children at an elementary school in the České Budějovice

The Thesis studies the issue of specific learning disorders of pupils attending the first grade of primary schools. It is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the issue and the theory of specific learning disorders, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysortographia. The Thesis aims especially to diagnose the specific learining disorders and the possibilities of reeducation and compensation of such disorders. The second part of the Thesis is practical. A reservoir of themes and materials was made for teachers to help to work with the diagnosed pupils. The goal of the Thesis was to help the teachers to improve the education of children with such specific learning disorders in the first grade of primary schools.

Adults with Specific Learning Malfunctions

This work deals with adults with specific learning difficulties. In view of the fact that diagnosis is usually made in younger scholl age, for the difficulties reveal mostly during getting the knack of reading, writing and counting, a considerable part of this work deals only with the children with specific learning difficulties. The reason is the necessity to understand the manifestations and difficulties that originate from the specific learning difficulties and that have an influence on the adulthood.

Nutrition defects and the wellness education of the preschool age children

Bakalářská práce se zabývá výživou, poruchami výživy a výchovou ke zdravému životnímu stylu u dětí v předškolním věku. Hlavními záměry práce bylo zjistit postavení obézních v kolektivu dětí mateřské školy a realizace vzdělávacího projektu, který se týká zdravé výživy a zdravého životního stylu. Postavení obézních dětí v kolektivu bylo zjištěno prostřednictvím metody strukturovaného rozhovoru a dotazníku. Metoda strukturovaného rozhovoru se v praxi projevila jako nevyhovující pro děti předškolního věku, a proto byl výzkum ukončen ve fázi předvýzkumu. Vzdělávací projekt byl navržen na základě teoretických poznatků uvedených v první části bakalářské práce a poté zrealizován v mateřské škole během dvoutýdenní praxe. Vzhledem k tomu, že se při realizaci projektu neprojevily žádné vážnější nedostatky a z reakcí dětí bylo patrné, že pro ně měl určitý vzdělávací přínos, je možné projekt využít v dalších mateřských školách.
