Information System for a School
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Fiala, Jiří (referee) ; Částek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes designing and creation of information system for Higher school of education, which will improve communication between students and lectors. Final application is written in PHP scripting language and uses MySQL database and AJAX technology. During implementation object-oriented programming paradigm was used.
Extendable Information System of SDC with a Multi-Tier Architecture
Vrážel, Dušan ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with analysis, design and implementation of an information system that allows easy extensibility with three-tier architecture.   System is developed using object oriented approach by programming language PHP, relational database server MySQL and web services and protocol SOAP. The View tier is implemented by web technologies XHTML and CSS. Analysis and design of this system is done with using the modeling language UML.     In this thesis is described the problem of multi-tier software architecture, theory of development information's systems and described design and implementation of an information system with a three-tier architecture and it's application in the society SDC.
AI Algorithms
Petrželka, Jan ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This master's thesis describes artificial intelligence algorithms based on the book Artificial Inteligence: A Modern Approach by S. Russel and P. Norvig and implementation of the algorithms in the Squeak Smalltalk programming language with object oriented approach. Algorithms are based on pseudocode in the book and existing implementations in Lisp, Python and Java language. Main concepts are intelligent agents, agent simulation environments, state space search, game playing, planning, uncertainty and learning.
Frameless Rendering
Krupička, Vojtěch ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Havel, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the problem of real-time rendering of computer graphics using the method of frameless rendering} as counterpart to the traditional way, which is based on switching between two output buffers. Frameless rendering method is defined and studied in greater depth and its adaptive variant, which delivers better output quality without a~significant reduction of latency, is described in detail. In addition, this thesis describes the implementation of the application which has been developed to demonstrate the principle and functionality of the frameless rendering on the selected scenes. It also includes evaluation of performed tests focused to the output quality.
Gantt charts
Kantar, Martin ; Hromková, Ivana (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
The thesis is aimed at Gantt charts. Primarily on their use in production processes, such as planning and scheduling. The thesis also includes an introduction, explaining what are the Gantt charts, for what are using and what is their principle. The thesis also includes analysis and software possibilities for implementing Gantt charts with using OOP. Programmatic and theoretical analysis of the various functions that are characteristic of Gantt charts, including their internal logic and program implementation. These programmed characteristic functions of Gantt charts were composed in the form of a DLL library, which provides a simple implementation of Gantt charts. By using this library is realized the software for production management. The work is included on the DVD, except the DLL itself software with detailed descriptions of each part of the source code.
Establishment of the graphic interface for firewall using Qt4 framework
Štefany, Martin ; Jelínek, Mojmír (referee) ; Matocha, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design an application, which will serve as a~graphical interface to the terminal application iptables. iptables is an application which uses the Netfilter framework for managing firewall in operating system GNU/Linux. Graphical interface is a~way how to raise a~comfort of firewall configuration and management, because user doesn't have to remember all of the commands and graphical interface also shows him actual structure and contents of the firewall in a~tree view. Thesis describes format and options of the commands and also the firewall structure and its function in Linux. Designed application is written in C++ language using aspects of object oriented programming and uses Qt4 framework. Qt4 is a~great framework for creating graphical user interfaces, brings a~lot of new classes and methods and extends programmer's possibilities during designing graphical or terminal applications for lots of platforms. Thesis also includes a~manual to designed graphical interface, to the application qIPtables, which user can use to learn the basics of using this application and firewall management.
The Use of Artificial Intelligence on Stock Market
Barjak, Maroš ; Budík, Jan (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with design, implementation and optimization of a model based on artificial intelligence and neural networks, which is able to predict future time series prices on a stock market. Main goal is to create an object oriented application for successful future trend prediction of financial derivatives with the use of cooperating methods such as Hurst exponent evaluation and automated market simulation.
Mobile Based Data Acquisition and Anomaly Detection
Ondrášek, Michael ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The work deals with the implementation of the specific architecture to detect anomalies in the classroom or in commercial use. The system consists of three parts: Measurement module, mobile applications and server part. Transmission between the measuring module of the server and the evaluation is carried out simultaneously with the visuals on the mobile device. All system components are implemented with the minimum cost and maximum expandability. All the necessary computing power is concentrated in the server part because of usability with multiple simultaneously operating mobile clients. Emphasis is placed on the solution architecture and the possibility of using the system as a whole, or selected portions separately. Finally, experiments are designed for the presentation of selected methods for anomaly detection.
Requirements of the companies on the graduate profile - programmer
Borza, Tomáš ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Rais, Aziz (referee)
This thesis is focused on the requirements of the IT companies on the graduated students with the major field programing and their knowledge gained at the university. The importance for the universities is in the focus on the trend according which the profile of school leavers falls behind the labor market. This thesis brings the complete view on the weak side of university education thanks to the combination of the gained knowledge and requirements of the companies. The target of this thesis is to describe the profile of the graduated student, requirements of the IT companies from the historical and present point of view, point out the differences between these two approached, and suggest the possible solution of this problem. To reach this aim there were used the historical data from the researches which were worked out by the experts from the University of Economics in Prague and my own question-naires in which the experts from IT companies could express their opinions to the specified problems. On the basis of these researches there were identified that the profile of the graduated student gained at the university differ from the required profile of the labor market. The conclusion of this thesis is aiming on the description of the problems in education and the possible solution to the future.
BlueJ interactive mode enhancement
Chadim, Marek ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
The main focus of this thesis is to design and develop tool, which will be part of the integrated development environment BlueJ and which will allows users to display kopenogram of selected method in interactive mode. This should contribute to improving support of Architecture First methodology in BlueJ environment. This thesis starts with theoretical part, where the methodology Object First is described. Afterwards follows the part dedicated to the methodology Architecture First, which removed some deficiencies of the Object First methodology and also which is the main objective of this paper. After that, the thesis continues with analyzing the tool capable of generating source code in BlueJ interactive environment and than follows the part describing kopenograms theoreti-cally. Then the thesis leads to its main objective, where the abovementioned tool, whose realiza-tion is described in the subsequent chapter, is designed. This tool should be used for pur-pose of teaching object-related programming in BlueJ in compliance with the principles of Architecture First methodology.
