Facility management as support of user of buildings

This diploma thesis examines facility management – support services for building users. The theoretical part describes the importance and objectives of facility management, included processes and its development in the world and the Czech Republic. Attention is also given to the currently implemented, the long-awaited standardization in this field. The practical part is the case study that analyses the implementation of facility management on specific building – administrative and commercial centre in Prague. The thesis concludes with design of optimization and extension of support services with respect to the benefits for the building owner and the service supplier.
Proposal to Improve Corporate Cultural and Intracompany Communitation

This thesis aims to evaluate the corporate culture, and related communications in the company. In the theoretical section first explains the basic concepts related to corporate culture, internal communications and human resources management. Subsequently, on the basis of the survey, the practical part of the work. It analyzes the current state of corporate culture, communication and overall satisfaction of employees in the company. Each of the identified problem area is individually defined and described, and a key element of the thesis is the recommendation of such remedial measures through which will improve corporate culture and communication, and thus to greater employee satisfaction.

This bachelor thesis deals with the area of health and safety. Its aim is to analyse the fulfilment of the requirements of normative recommendations of OHSAS 18001 at STATEK SOBĚTICE s. r. o. The theoretical background defines basic concepts and general principles of occupational safety and health. The requirements of the normative recommendations of OHSAS 18001 are given here. The basic characteristic of the chosen company is mentioned in the introduction of the practical part. This part also includes a risk analysis of the selected company, evaluation and proposal of possible measures for the future. The evaluation of the degree of compliance with the requirements of normative recommendations in the company is also provided, including the registry legislation proposal.
Psychological Stress and its Importance in the Work Environment

Psychological stress is currently a very topical and discussed matter which is mainly caused by the increasing life expectancy, more hectic time period and the accelerating pace of life that increase the pressure on the individuals. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of psychological stress in general but also focuses on the effect of psychological stress in the work environment and whether the work psychological stress affects work performance, work satisfaction and quality of work of employees. The theoretical part deals with the causes of psychological stress, its sources, effects and coping with it. The empirical part focuses on the custom made inquiry, evaluates and interprets the results and gives possible suggestions and recommendations for an improvement of outcome. The diploma thesis aims to analyze the issue of psychological stress, appreciate its importance in the work environment and verify this fact on those respondents who participated in the research.
Comparison of organizational culture in German and Slovak branch

The goal of my bachelor thesis is to compare organization culture in two branches of one company. These branches are in Germany and Slovakia. This bachelor thesis contains two parts. First part, called theoretical part, describes main elements of organization culture into details. In second, practical part is main focus on specific differentiations between these two branches of one company. This company represents Viessmann group. I sum up these differentiations, which resulted from questionnaire, in the end of my bachelor thesis.
Employment preferences of economics faculty students in the Czech Republic and abroad

The aim of this thesis is to compare employment preferences of economics faculty students in the Czech Republic (students from University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice) and abroad which they have on the labour market in different ways. One part of the thesis is analysis of questionnaire survey where are elaborated answers of respondents. Another part is the comparison of the analysis with results of others analysis from different authors and institutions. In the last part of this thesis are made a suggestions how possible is to improve current situation. The work deals with possible solution proposals which lead to elimination of working young people in some area which is not similar to the field of their study. What can be disadvantage barrier in the labour market. Firstly government should make new evaluation of universities, secondly there should be more co-operation between universities and companies for the purpose of arranging internships for students and thirdly students should start with choosing relevant field of study where they can work after graduation.
