Turning technology solution parts "flange" with coated cutting tools
Maršálek, Radek ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with the use of coated tools in the production of component "flange" on the CNC lathe. The first section describes the process of the coating of tools and an overview of coating tools for machining from well-known manufacturers around the world. Further, it provides the assessment of technology for manufacture the components, the design of semiproduct, the solution of the technological process with the incorporation of the CNC lathe, the assembly of work instructions with calculation of machinery times, and the processing of the NC program and its subsequent verification by simulation of manufacturing process and technical-economic evaluation of the proposed solution.
Coating methods for cutting tools
Novotný, Michal ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The bachelor thesis titled Coating methods for cutting tools describes techniques of deposition of hard abrasion resistant coatings by physical and chemical methods. The thesis contains the partition of the materials for cutting tools, description of producing cutting inserts made from sintered carbides, basic types of coating layers and comparison of coated sintered carbides in the assortment of selected manufacturers. There is also an outline of some trends in the area of coating methods at the end of the thesis.
Coating methods for cutting tools
Doležal, Jan ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
Bachelor work describes methods of coating of cutting tools and their technical characteristics. The work is given below the current product range of manufacturers of coated cemented carbides. At the end of this work is treated the development of coating cutting tools and types of applied coatings.
Optical properties of thin NCD films
Remeš, Zdeněk ; Kromka, Alexander
In this presentation we summarized the selected optical characterization methods available in the Department of the Optical Materials which are suitable for characterization of the thin nanodiamond layers.
Foreign substrates pre-treatment using polymer composites in plasma-enhanced CVD growth of diamond fibers and layers
Potocký, Štěpán ; Babchenko, Oleg ; Ižák, Tibor ; Varga, Marián ; Kromka, Alexander ; Rezek, Bohuslav ; Tesárek, P.
Nanocrystalline diamond wires and layers were grown by microwave plasma CVD technique on Si substrates. The substrates were pretreated by non-woven composite nanofiber textile composed by poly(vinyl alcohol) matrix and ultra-dispersed diamond (UDD) nanoparticles prepared by needleless electrospinning method. High concentration of UDD in the PVA fibers lead to formation of diamond wires due to a combined effect of UDD particles used as seeding and high pressure difference across the fibers interface. A preferable growth of diamond layers was observed on areas with a low porosity volume of nanofiber textile. The influence of spundond structure on the growth of diamond decreased with lowering of UDD concentra-tion in the primary polymer matrix.
Testing of Coating/Substrate System Deposited by CVD and PACVD Methods by Impact Tester
Fajkus, M. ; Fořt, Tomáš ; Grossman, Jan ; Hořejš, S. ; Sobota, Jaroslav
The dynamic impact wear tester developed in our laboratory has been used to evaluate CVD and PACVD hard coatings deposited in VÚHŽ. After each test, wear scars were evaluated by means of optical microscope and profilometer. Results of these tests show usability of various types of coatings in dynamic load and enable to optimize the design of the coating/substrate system for the particular use.
Diamond growth on silicon and WC-Co by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition
Frgala, Z. ; Kudrle, V. ; Janča, J. ; Buršíková, V. ; Vašina, P. ; Meško, M. ; Buršík, Jiří ; Kadlečíková, M. ; Klapetek, P.
We studied the growth of microcrystalline diamond films on pre-treated Si and WC-Co substrates by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition. We observed the interesting time dependence of the negative bias voltage during nucleation stage which is useful for nucleation process monitoring. The layers were analysed by Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy.
Synthesis of Heterostructure Particles by CVD Method in a Tube Flow Reactor
Moravec, Pavel ; Smolík, Jiří ; Levdansky, V.V. ; Keskinen, H.
Powders of mixed or heterostructure fine particles are of even greater value than the single component ones. During last decade we prepared single component fine particles of silica, alumina, titania and zirconia by decomposition of organoelement precursors in an externally heated tube flow reactor. On the basis of experience with the synthesis of single component particles we prepared mixed or coated multicomponent particles Al2O3-SiO2, TiO2-SiO2 and ZrO2SiO2 by simultaneous decomposition of two precursors in one reactor.
