Management a marketing of the project Sports talent of the year and its implementation for period 2014-2015

Title: Management and marketing of the project Sports talent of the year and its implementation for period 2014-2015 Targets: The aim of this thesis is to propose improvements of the project Sports talent of the year for period 2014 - 2015. The project is focused on healthy lifestyle of the primary school pupils in the Czech Republic. The author based on analysis of previous years which were realized by a profit organization. His own contributions are made by the implementation of the project. Methods: There is a case study used to analyze the information about the project Sports talent of the year. Analysis of the conditions is carried out with the aid of PEST analysis, Porter's model of five forces, and analysis of resources. SWOT analysis is applied to synthesize previous analyzes. Results: The study revealed gaps especially in the management activities of the project Sports talent of the year. The greatest gaps can be seen in the branch of staffing, marketing and communications and financing. Title: Participants' satisfaction with Salomon Trail Running Cup 2014 sports event Objectives: The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse current level of customer satisfaction with sports event, find out their opinions and potential shortcomings in each running event by using questionnaire survey. Define any problem areas and suggest appropriate management recommendations by evaluating empirical data obtained from own market research. This would lead to improvement of runners' satisfaction with this sports event. Partial goal of this diploma thesis is to find potential coherence between customers' satisfaction and whether they attended Salomon Trail Running Cup for the first time or repeatedly. Methods: Quantitative questionnaire research was used to obtain data from respondents. Respondents were interviewed either in person or in writing. Informal interviews were made with the management of the sports event. T-test method was used to find potential coherence between customers' satisfaction and their attendance in the past Salomon Trail Running Cup events. Results: Marketing research showed that runners were mostly satisfied with this sports event. Aplication and evaluation of sponsoring for rhythmic gymnastics competition

Title: Application and evaluation of sponsoring for rhythmic gymnastics competition Objectives: The main objective is the offering of sponsorship packages that have been made previously to former and current sponsors in order to entice them to come back and stay. The next sub-objective is to establish cooperation with new potential partners for competition in rhythmic gymnastics with a tailor-made offer. Methods: In the work are used the methods of quantitative and qualitative research. The method of written polling is applied to former and current sponsors and the method of direct mail and individual semi-structured interview is applied to the selected potential sponsors. Results: During the data collection it was found that the former and current sponsors would prefer a more diverse list of options. Based on the results new sponsorship packages were compiled and especially great demanded list of advertisement options. Thanks to some interviews some new sponsors were added to the competition. Title: Sports event management - Princeton-Blairstown Center Objectives: The aim of this work is on the basis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to propose particular arrangement that would improve organization of Princeton-Blairstown Center in following years. Methods: Case analysis was used as the main research method. In preparation of this analysis participant observation, document analysis, semi-structured and unstructured interviews were applied. On the basis of these methods SWOT analysis was developed, which shows the strengths and weaknesses Results: The analysis showed that the Princeton - Blairstown Center was very well organized event with small issues. The camp is associated organization to Princeton University, camp gains part of the funding from the university or its foundations. The advantages of Princeton - Blairstown Center are mainly a high ropes course, a unique environment and area and because of these advantages camp has increasing number of participants every year. For the following years, it is very important to keep a good relationship with the university, take care of the site, keep the lake in good condition, try to find sponsors and improve promotion of Princeton - Blairstown Center. Title: Principles of safety measures of sports events organizers without the involvement of police Objectives: The aim of this thesis is a description of security measures at sporting events organizers. Methods: The thesis theoretical style is focused on searching for available sources of study and research, and writing their summary comparing safety measures of the organizers. Results: This work describes the activities of the organizers of sports events and precautions that must be provided prior to each sports organizer game. The aim of the thesis is identification and evaluation of current sources of financing and types of promotion and at the same time suggestion of new ways of financing and promotion. Results: New alternatives and recommendations for effective promotion. Suggestions of other ways of financing. Methods: The main part of information crucial for writing of this thesis was obtained in an interview with a representative of Prague International Marathon, spol. s r.o. Summary: The main aim was to create plans for improvement of management world cup skicross in Czech Republic.
