Nature as inspiration for leisure education
ŠPIRHANZLOVÁ, Andrea
The thesis deals with the organization of leisure activities where the main tool and inspiration is nature. The theoretical part defines basic concepts of pedagogy of free time and points to the possibility of using nature as an inspiration not only for creating content components of leisure activities, but also as the environment in which the pedagogical - educational process of activities takes place. The practical part contains specific pedagogical - educational activity whose essence is built on respect for nature. Data for the creation of practical courses are drawn from the questionnaire survey, in which interviewed respondents used the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities that take place in nature, and expressed their concerns. After evaluating the results of the survey, three educational programs - educational activities - were developed by teaching principles: a lesson of painting "Water and Sky", a course of photography and an agility course.

In the same time, I tried to evaluate how changes in selected anthropometric characteristics, practice attendance, game involvement and a length of participation in organized sport and basketball preparation influenced selected speed and agility manifestation. Methods: This thesis uses experiment as its research method. Research sample including youth basketball players (n = 9; mean age 13.39 ± 0.22 years) completed six months long training intervention with elements for speed and general strength development. Players were tested before intervention, three months and six months after beginning of the intervention. Three performance tests were used: 20 m sprint, 15 m flying with 10 m run up and lane agility drill. Video recordings of 20 m sprint and 15 m flying tests were made to evaluate changes in technique of running. Changes and interrelationships of all measured parameters were evaluated in the six months period. Results of the research sample after the first three months of...

Brychta, Petr ; Heller, Jan (advisor) ; Havel, Zdeněk (referee) ; Harsa, Pavel (referee)
Title: The influence of age, gender and movement activity on the reaction abilities of lower limbs. Objectives: The main objective of this dissertation was to find the reaction abilities of pubescent's (aged 10 - 15years) lower limbs on the basis of age, gender and movement activity. The further aim was to determine the pubescence period (age) when the most noticeable decrease of the visual disjunctive motor response time of lower limbs occurs. Methods: 214 boys and girls aged 10-15 years (157.8 ± 10.8 cm; 47.2 ± 10.7 kg) participated in this research. Simple, choice and disjunctive reaction time of lower limbs was measured through the Fitro Agility Check test. The results processing, including statistical procedures, was carried out using the Matlab (MathWorks, Inc.) programming environment, an IBM SPSS Statistics 22. Three-way ANOVA and Tukey post-hoc tests (α=0.05) were used to determine the individual parameters connection. Results: With increasing age, year over year, we found important differences and reaction time decreases of all types of reaction speeds. Testing brings to light the fact that the most noticeable decrease of both selection and disjunctive reaction time of lower limbs are between groups of 11 year olds (11.00-11.99) and 12 year olds (12.00-12.99). The most noticeable decrease...

Speed training in strength and conditioning preparation of youth basketball players
Janikov, Martin ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Hojka, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Speed training in strength and conditioning preparation of youth basketball players Aims: The main purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the effectivity of the training program designed to focus on development of speed abilities in category under fourteen years basketball players. Secondary aims are determination of relationship between practice attendances, number of games played, changes of body height, body weight and body composition of the players on their acceleration, maximal speed and agility tests performance. Methods: For this thesis was used experimental method, which concentrated on observation of speed development in two groups of players, each with different conditions defined by training content. We used measuring, testing and interviewing for data gathering purposes. To assess the relationship between all parameters and their explanation we apply analytic and comparative methods. For evaluation of relationships was used Pearson's correlation and p-value for determination of statistical significance. Results: The main hypothesis, presuming relationship between anticipation in our training program and improvement of speed abilities, wasn't confirmed by our calculations. The results were calculated for following tests: 20 m sprint (r = -0.12, p = 0.69, n = 14), flying 15 m run...
Agility
Řehák, Tomáš ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: Agility Objectives: Create an overview of current understanding of agility. Get survey of used tests and create tray exercises Methods: When creating our study, we used analysis of literary sources external character, accompanied by it's own critical opinions. We drew primarily on the expertise impact journals. Results: Agility is defined as the ability to quickly change the direction of movement in response to a highly specific stimulus. It is closely associated primarily with speed, strength and finesse. Agility is a very important component of sports performance in sports games, where the bulk of the changes taking place in the movement direction. When testing the agility we use both CODS tests, and tests with response to stimulus. In the condition training is needed to fully devote agility and regarded it as a part of motor skills. Keywords: agility, change of direction speed, motor skills, testing

Bláža, Lukáš ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Buzek, Mario (referee)
Title: Selected parameters of fitness assesment of elite young soccer players Objectives: This work identifies selected parameters of the fitness readiness of young elite soccer players. Additionally, we describe terrain motor tests focusing on the metrics of speed, dexterity, and agility, amongst others. Finally, we describe the results of the tests and analyze the speed capabilities and individual indicators by using the motor terrain tests. Methods: Subjects were studied using field testing specific to soccer. Participants were elite soccer players under 16 years old who were in the national selection. The subjects attended a measurement at national level with artificial grass, the standard playing conditions. We investigated the speed capabilities of each player, followed by a statistical evaluation of the results using computer programs. Results: The individuals tested showed very good condition parameters, forming a homogeneous assemblage. An analysis of the players' motor test performances determined their speed abilities. It was found that at single speeds in various sections of a run, which the players achieve during a twenty meter run, the curve of acceleration rises and plateaus as they start to maintain their speed. Keywords: football, youth, tests, speed, agility
